Chapter 14 – Planning

The day after the festival, the Pope summoned King Gallio, King Lucius , Captain Aslar ,and the Generals of all the three kingdom(city).

The meeting takes place in a room with a large table in the middle; the chairs were all occupied by all the people that were called.

Everyone congratulate Captain Aslar, but some didn’t care. Most of the Generals of the city of Coabluff, and Ceray Stronghold were envious of Captain Aslar. They have a sharp eye for the Holy Sword, and to Captain Aslar.

Captain Aslar felt that most of the people (generals) from the other cities didn’t like him, but he just ignored them, to prevent from any trouble.

The pope started the meeting.

Pope: “You all have my gratitude for coming here, as we all know the Holy Sword has chosen Captain Aslar to be its wielder, *Well technically I did that – Elous* Captain Aslar may you please give us some idea of the Holy Swords power, and after that well have to plan for the war.”

Aslar: “Certainly Pope, The Holy Sword – Thunder Steel Eternal – was a powerful sword, as I asked someone to appraise the Holy Sword, but that person failed to do so, he estimated that the tier of this item was a Demon tier or even more likely a Celestial Tier..”

General1: “What!!! A Celestial Tier, that item will be the most powerful weapon in Etryria, it can even battle the Celestials, but how come you can wield that item, if I know, your tier is just a Hero and you’re not even close to a Lord tier, and beyond that the Demon tier and the Celestial Tier?”

(AN: I used tier for grades of weapons,skills, and also for levels. Ex. Lvl 0 will be novice, lvl 10 will be tier 1 and so on. I’ll add the hierarchy of tier for the level of an individual at the end of the story)

Aslar: “I didn’t really know either, but I don’t plan on fighting with the Celestials. What I know is that, this Sword was given to us by the Divine Providence Elous, for hope. And also the sword gave me a new class, a Thunder Paladin, I now wield two magical elements, Light/Holy and Lightning, I haven’t tested my new skills as well. And also the skills that I’ve known more likely evolved, and became more powerful. I have used a [Area Healing] Spell, to heal my subordinates, the result was astonishing, the area of the healing magic was now 5 times its original size, and the healing effect was greater, if I say so myself, it can even regenerate a cut off limb.”

All of the listeners were now petrified by the words of Captain Aslar, if he is saying the truth; they have a chance in winning this war. His healing skills were even greater than the Pope.

General2: “With that kind of power, we will be an unstoppable force, after we win this war, we can now explore more lands, and conquer for more resources.”

General1: “Tsk, I don’t believe every single word that you have said, sure it’s a Holy Sword, stop boosting about how “powerful” you are now, I will not believe it until I’ve saw it. You’re still a joke to me Captain Aslar.”

Aslar: “This sword came from the Divine Providence Elous, and I was blessed with the Celestial of Heaven – Dadea – I don’t plan on fighting the Celestials, or even conquer other lands.” Then he looks at the general that’s always looking at him with disgusted eyes.

“You can believe what you want to believe, I just said the truth as the Pope ordered me to…” He was about to say more things, but the Pope stopped him to prevent a fight from happening.

Pope: “Please, everyone, I need your cooperation, we are not enemies with each other, we are here to plan a war. In about 4 years, a war will break out, and it’s up to us “leaders” to prevent this land from shedding innocent bloods. We need to protect our people. And thanks to the Divine Providence Elous, the help that we got from our God was a huge advantage to us. That’s why I asked Captain Aslar, to give us ideas about the power of the Holy Sword, so we can use his skills efficiently.”

The 2 Kings presented their own war strategies, about defending; attacking, and then they’ve added Captain Aslar to it. The Generals also gave their opinions. And for about 10 hours, they’ve come up with a strategy that they think was the best. Most of the strategy was contributed by Captain Aslar, all the people inside the meeting room were praising him, except for those few people that envied him.

The First step was to gather resources for the Defending walls, barracks for men, and different kinds of things like food for the army. They build the barracks, and army camp south east of the city of Khabad.

Second step, was to recruit men from all over the continent to join the war, training them, and also create armors, and weapons.

Third step, to gather all the mages, and pet tamers, to try and tame monster from the land, forest, and specially the monster of the seas, cause the City of Maford has a lot of notorious pirates, and they cannot let their guard down.

After the meeting the three cities were all busy, Aslar was on his journey to the Jade Forest (North east of Coabluff) to improve his skills, at the unexplored dungeon, he was accompanied by his subordinates. His party was a well balanced party, healer, scout, mages, and vanguard. He will return half a year before the war starts, it was a great risk for them, because they don’t know what will happen, once they’ve entered the dungeon. But Captain Aslar insisted that no one can change his decision on making the journey, to travel from coabluff to the Jade Forest will take about 1 and a half month on a horse, with estimated rest, and sleep.

Captain Aslar immediately started his journey after he had said his goodbyes to his family, and some of his friends, his subordinates also did the same. They’ve received the finest equipment, potions, and ration of foods for the journey.

The closer they got near the Jade Forest, the higher the level of monster that they’ve encountered. It was the perfect training for them, and to improve their skills in combat.

God and all of his Valkyries are now in the room of “Observation” (the building where Selena watch the Celestials)

“Seems like the war will be exciting.”

Marzanna: *a bit sad and worried* “hmmmm,,”

“What is it Marzanna? Is there something wrong, you don’t like blood or something?”

Marzanna: “No my God, i-it-it’s just, a lot of soul will be sent to me during the war….” I cut her off.

“Hahahah, don’t be worried about it.. hmmmm.”

“You can make your own “minions” to help you out with the souls”

Diana: “Hey Marzanna, what about you make one right now.”

Cassandra: “Yeah, let us see what it will look like”

Marzanna: “uhmm..*a bit shy* I’ll try my best”

“Good luck, Marzanna”

Marzanna: “Nn *nod*, thank you my God”

Selena: “If you like any help Marzanna, just ask.”

Marzanna: “Thank you big-sis Selena.” Then she gave the sweetest smile. *Kawaii :D –Elous”

Marzanna waved her hand, and then shadow of orbs starts to gather in a irregular shaped object, then the shadow shape shift to the body of a young boy, as tall as Marzanna. The boy’s body was all black, no eyes ,no mouths, and nose. *It was kind of creepy –Elous* Then some parts of the body was wrapped in with cloth (like a mummy), and chains. The body was just standing there like a zombie, Marzanna held her hand, and an orb of flame was forming in her hand, it’s the same as the soul of the living thing that I’ve created, but this one was different, it was black in color. *wow, she can now create souls, good job Marzanna –Elous) After the black Soul was as big as a regular human head (this soul is bigger than the ordinary soul) she then put it to the “boys” chest. Black smoke were now coming out of the “boy’s” body, it started to twitch, then it moved his head bowing down to Marzanna while kneeling down. It cannot talk, well cause Marzanna didn’t put a mouth to it. Marzanna was now looking at me, and she was proud of her Creation.

Marzanna: “hmmm, I shall call you, Harvy the Soul Collector.”

“Isn’t he cute?” Marzanna look at us with proud and sparkling eyes.

Diana and Cassandra were just looking with a dumbfounded expression.

I just gave her the sweetest smile that I can give, and a thumb up.

Selena just nod and agreed to her. “Yes, little sister Marzanna, he looks cute.”

I was admiring Selena for being supportive at Merzanna. Then the twins also agreed that Marzanna’s creation was cute.

Marzanna was so happy that everyone liked Harvy *to be honest it wasn’t that bad, but a little creepy I guess –Elous*

Marzana asked permission to go back to her work; she bowed down to me, Harvy did the same. I then said my goodbyes, and then she and Harvy left the room.

I told the other Valkyries to not mention any negative thoughts about Harvy, it may hurt Marzannas feelings. They all agreed. But Marzannas design was absolutely perfect for a “reaper”. I guess that the chains would be useful for capturing the “Special Soul” that Marzanna mentioned about.

I then told the twins to help Marzanna with her first “minion”. They happily take the task.

Cassandra: “Maybe I can teach Harvy some tricks (She was thinking of tricks for animals, like sit and roll over. Those kinds of things)

Diana sends a fist at the top of her head. A whimpering sound was heard. “uhhh,that hurts.”

Diana: “stop imagining things; let’s just help Marzanna to train Harvy”

Cassandra: “uhnnn, (still rubbing her head) Okay, fine”

The two then exited the room. I was now left with Selana, we are still watching the humans, prepare for war, and we’re monitoring the champions, Hedley and Aslar.
