When Chen Yun’s vision returned. He was dazed but quickly replaced with anger. And before he could curse, a sudden light flashes behind him and at his right hand. Behind him, the circular outline appeared and the ‘Hsu’ symbol brightens and the elemental nature energy quickly gathers at the circular outline. Chen Yun was shocked at what happened but he then realized when an old voice resonated on his mind.

‘The one who needs to care for partner’ activated. Your contracted beast was injured, thus, you voluntarily activate your ability to heal your beast.

‘Fvck!’

The hell with that ‘voluntarily!’

It was appropriate to be called ‘being forced!’

Though he was angry because of the word ‘voluntarily’ but he couldn’t do anything as it happens uncontrolled.

In a matter of time, the circular outline faded, so does the symbol on his right hand. Chen Yun’s hands were shaking in anger. He didn’t know where he should let out all his anger welled inside him. His mighty trump card was already used that he was still not fighting!

The ‘Hsu’ symbol’s ability was great to the extent that Chen Yun sees it as a godly material that could defy the common sense of a typical ability. Because most of all healing abilities could only heal someone’s injuries but not also his energy. Chen Yun stood still for a while longer contemplating about the unfortunate contract before he walked inside the entrance that will lead him to the sixth level.

Crackle!

Several seconds passed after Chen Yun left the fifth level, a surge of elemental energy of fire exploded out from the exit and Mao Qingyu appears wielding his Twin Dragon Staff. When he didn’t find the wolf king he quickly left the area and headed directly to the path leading to the sixth level.

Weng!

Chen Yun arrived at the sixth level and saw that the number of fruits is getting lesser. He approached one fruit near him and grabbed it.

Chomp!

A dominant sweet flavor slides down to his throat and was different from what the wolf king had tasted. It was five times better than the first level fruits. Unfortunately, the wolf king couldn’t taste any of these and he even didn’t know that he reached the sixth level because as of now he was still unconscious. Though his physical injuries were already healed because of the mysterious ‘Hsu’ symbol that even Chen Yun didn’t know what it was healed him completely from near death to his peak, the mental exhaustion was great to the extent that the wolf king run in a coma. Luckily, the wise wolf king quickly made a contract to Chen Yun and luckily receive many ‘benefits’. Making Chen Yun flabbergasted with such tremendous ‘benefits’ he got.

A white elemental energy gathers inside of Chen Yun’s dantian and quickly circulated to his meridians. At the bottom of his dantian, where the three layers of earth stacked together, appears to be filled with a vitality that was different before Chen Yun ate the fruit. Still, it didn’t help him leap from the Third Rank of Earthen Realm.

Boom!

While Chen Yun was eating, an explosion echoed out from the exit. Chen Yun turns around and found out a familiar person standing near the exit.

The person was holding a long staff with a golden dragon’s head on its tip. It was Mao Qingyu!

“Oh, it’s you?” Chen Yun said in surprise.

Mao Qingyu looked at Chen Yun for a while before saying, “Did you see a golden wolf here?”

“Golden wolf? I don’t know about that. I just came here.” Chen Yun shrugged his shoulders.

“Okay then, you may die!” Mao Qingyu said while his eyes turned red.

Whoosh!

Chen Yun quickly evaded to the right and a blur of shadow flashed past on his left nearly hitting him.

Boom!

The surface exploded into tiny pieces and a long staff embedded on it. Chen Yun sucked a breath of cold air when he witnesses such attack.

“Hey, how could you dare kill me?” Chen Yun said with a frown on his face.

‘Hmph!’

A snort was Mao Qingyu only reply to Chen Yun’s question. He moved his body heading towards him as Mao Qingyu twists his staff transferring his hold from his right hand to his left hand.

‘The hell with this guy?’ Chen Yun thought.

Chen Yun who hated those people who attack without any proper reason. If they want to pick on him, so be it, but they will pay the price.

Their disparity of cultivation base was five ranks apart, but Chen Yun doesn't want to be bullied without fighting for himself. He was way different from his past world, right now, he has the ability to fight and why would he back down?

Chen Yun spread his legs and bend his knees while he waved his right-hand from left to right in an upward arc.

Shiing!

As his right-hand moves, a manifestation of swords trailing before his hand and forming into an arc. His left hand then moves back behind him, sticking and pointing both the index finger and his middle finger while he curled the thumb, the ring and pinky finger.

Whoosh!

And like a sword, he stabbed it forward to the approaching Mao Qingyu. The ten swords floating in front of him forming into an arc which responded his command, flying towards their target.

Hmph!

Mao Qingyu snorted as he set his staff in flames and swung it to the flying swords.

Clang! Clang! Clang…

All the ten swords were easily deflected by the flaming staff of Mao Qingyu, but Chen Yun didn’t falter as if he knew that it wouldn’t work.

Thus, he waved his both hands and condensed another batch of weapons but it is only four. A sword, a hammer, crisscrossed daggers, and a halberd. It’s Zhong Yi’s Ascending Blazing Star Spear’s weapons! Though the weapons were exactly identical the power was different as Chen Yun didn’t know Zhong Yi’s techniques.

Shiing!

Chen Yun grabbed the floating sword and unsheathed it, rushing towards the approaching Mao Qingyu.

When their distance grew nearer. Mao Qingyu swings his right hand who wield his staff while Chen Yun slashed horizontally and was trailed behind by the other three weapons.

Clank!

Their weapons clashed!

Crack!

The sword cracked like a glass while Chen Yun flew back by the impact coughing up blood. He couldn’t meet the same power released by Mao Qingyu when they clash.

When on air he somersaulted and landed on the ground.

“The reason that I want to kill you is that you lied to me,” Mao Qingyu said while he walked unhurriedly.

Chen Yun wiped the trail of blood on the side of his mouth before he replied, “I didn’t lie to you, why would I? Urgh…”

A pain rushed from his right hand and is numbed by their first clash.

‘Fck that stupid dog!’ But the pain of losing his trump card was way heavier than what he felt from his hand and he could only curse the wolf king from using the ‘Hsu’ symbol.

The three weapons behind him move around him towards his front. He raised his left-hand and grabbed the hammer.

Bang!

When he held the hammer, like losing the ability to fly, it quickly landed on the ground resonated an impact of heaviness.

“Look at the back of your left hand.” Mao Qingyu said as he points out his right hand towards Chen Yun’s left-hand.

Chen Yun looked at the back of his left hand and he could only sigh because he was already compromised by Mao Qingyu from the very start. Because the evidence was a tattoo.

It was a wolf’s head that howls to the sky and a crescent moon below it. The ears of the wolf were golden in color that looks like a crown.

Chen Yun took a deep breath and stood properly. Looking at the eyes of Mao Qingyu and said, “Okay, I lied to you now what?”

“As I said you may die!” Mao Qingyu said.

“Wait, wait, wait! Before you kill me let me ask you a question.” Chen Yun interrupted Mao Qingyu which Mao Qingyu stop his steps. Chen Yun quickly continued when he saw Mao Qingyu’s action, “Anyways, where are your girls?” he seriously asked.

Poof!

But as if he struck something he should not. Like a flame that ignites the gunpowder. Mao Qingyu’s eyes turned redder.

“AAAARRGHHH! I will kill you before I retrieve that pesky beast!” Mao Qingyu angrily said.

Zong!

Chen Yun’s large gauntlets appear on his both hands.

Crackle!

Flames erupted from Mao Qingyu’s body while the Twin Dragon Staff flew back to him.

Whoosh!

Mao Qingyu stomped the ground and like an arrow, he flew while wielding his Twin Dragon Staff on his right-hand. While on air, Mao Qingyu swung the staff. Suddenly, the staff elongated as it grows longer rushing towards Chen Yun.

Chen Yun squinted his eyes. Though he was surprised by the staff that Mao Qingyu was wielding he was not scared at all. When he felt that there is no elemental energy contained in the weapon.

Chen Yun punched the giant gauntlet to each other.

Clang!

A white spark erupted between the two large gauntlets and rushed outward in a circular manner. He grabbed the hammer and swung it towards the staff counteracting it with force!

Bang!

And like before he was blown away. Turning the hammer into dust.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

As he was flying three different types of weapon appear in front of Chen Yun adding with the other two remaining. He waved his hands and the five weapons follow his orders and flew to Mao Qingyu’s location, sundering the air on its wake

Crackle!

A surge of elemental energy of fire gathers around Mao Qingyu and he pulled back his staff while returning itself back to its original length.

Chen Yun who was blown back somersaulted and made a hand gesture. A platform appears behind him which he landed upon. And he leaped from it and flew towards of Mao Qingyu’s.

When Chen Yun was at the top of the staff he stomps it which vibrated making Mao Qingyu’s right hand turned numb.

After stomping the staff, Chen Yun flew forwards heading directly to Mao Qingyu who was now descending. Placing his left hand on his front while his right hand on his back positioning himself into attacking stance.

Fwoosh!

A rainbow-colored-fog gathers around Chen Yun’s right hand as he neared Mao Qingyu.

Mao Qingyu waved his left hand and the gathered elemental energy of fire formed into a shield in front of him wanting to deflect the approaching five different weapons.

Clang! Clang! Clang!

While Mao Qingyu was busy blocking the three weapons, Chen Yun neared him whose hands ready to punch him!

Bang!

The large gauntlet finally reached its target but the staff of Mao Qingyu blocked it. When Chen Yun sees this he quickly followed up with his left punch!

Whoosh!

Chen Yun only struck on empty air because Mao Qingyu descended back to the ground with the help of his earlier attack.

Bang!

Mao Qingyu struck the staff on the ground that makes the ground quake and rumble. Behind him, two shadows appear splitting each other and stood from Mao Qingyu’s left and right. As seconds tick away, the shadows become clearer until it turned into a discernible person. Its face was the same like Mao Qingyu’s!

‘Crap!’

Hmph!

Mao Qingyu snorted as he jumped back to the sky and meet the still flying Chen Yun. The two doppelganger behind Mao Qingyu swiftly followed, with a flash, an identical staff was on both of the shadows hands.

When they neared Chen Yun, the three Mao Qingyu hammered down their staff to Chen Yun as the staff elongated quite fast!

Chen Yun hurriedly waved his hands and three-layered shields appear on the front of him protecting him from the three attacks while he crossed his two hands which were coated by large gauntlets adding his defense.

Bang! Bang! Bang!
