Chen Yun and Zhong Yi quickly entered the cave.

Inside was dark but with their cultivation base at the Earthen Realm, they can still see clearly their surroundings.

Many stalactites and stalagmites on each sides appearing as they go deeper into the cave.

"Do you think that this is a right choice?" Zhong Yi asked Chen Yun in concern.

"Yeah, I can feel it that this gathered elemental energy was heading here in this place, let's just follow until we reached and who knows what was inside." Chen Yun answered.

The cave suddenly quaked as if a giant wanted to enter this cave.

A snarl of a wolf echoed from outside!

"So fast!" Zhong Yi exclaimed.

They hastened their steps as they quickly moved deeper inside this unknown cave.

As they go deeper and deeper, instead of feeling cold because of the dark place, they felt even hotter than being cold.

"Why so hot in this place" Chen Yun mumbled as he creased his sweating brows.

He then looked at Zhong Yi, but he only saw that he didn't sweat like him as if he didn't feel uncomfortable in this place.

"Is it not way hotter here than the outside?" He asked Zhong Yi.

"I can feel the flame energy was way thicker here but I didn't feel hot because my elemental energy was fire." Zhong Yi smiled towards Chen Yun with a hint of ridicule on squinting eyes of his.

'Lucky bastard.' Chen Yun thought.

He then waves his two hands and a circular magnetic field appears that covers his body.

A group of elemental energy quickly gathers around him and slowly siphoned inside the field entering his body.

The most prominent color was red indicates the power of flames was way richer here than the other place.

"Oh, you cultivated a cheap gathering technique" Zhong Yi smirked at Chen Yun.

But he didn't bite the bait of Zhong Yi as he ignored him.

A red triangular shape appears in front of Zhong Yi.

Suddenly, the rainbow-colored elemental energy divided itself and group each other with their respective color.

And the larger and richest color was red.

As if the triangular shape chooses from these different colors, the red colored sphere swallowed inside the triangular shape and turned into a strands of red color elemental energy, which was two times thicker than Chen Yun's Minor Gathering Technique.

"Why does your gathering technique was way different than mine?" Chen Yun puzzlingly asked.

"Heh, it was because you just channeled your gathering technique and didn't choose specific elements." Zhong Yi answered sarcastically.

Zhong Yi was acting arrogant suddenly but Chen Yun understood why he was doing it. He was still embarrassed.

"How could I control and pick the exact elemental energy?" Chen Yun quickly asked while the iron was still hot.

"Concerning about your elemental energy, I think that it was a water elemental energy…" Zhong Yi paused.

"And in order to choose the exact elemental energy, you must feel all the kinds of elemental energy." He continued.

"When we channel any gathering technique, the elemental energies naturally gathers around us, but if we only channel the gathering technique and not choose any elemental energy, typically all the gathered elemental energies will be siphoned inside the magnetic field and permeates into our bodies. That was in your case, but if you willed your Minor Gathering Technique into a specific elemental energy then only such elemental energy would be processed and enters your body, it was also the reason why your fighting capabilities was unbalanced, having a mixed elements on your dantian." Zhong Yi said.

"So you're saying that, if I put like a condition on my Minor Gathering Technique then it will only gather that specific elemental energy?" Chen Yun asked.

"Correct" Zhong Yi answered.

The wolf king looked at them as its eyes were crimson red, the surroundings were dark its movement was way swifter and fiercer than when they were outside.

Four different white colored weapons that also lit the surrounding dark place as it appears above Zhong Yi's head as he activated the Ascending Blazing Star Spear.

A large gauntlet manifested around Chen Yun's both hands as it was being coated.

The wolf king has no lackeys following him behind only the wolf king itself, gave chase to them as if that the wolf king itself was sufficient enough to battle these humans.

The large wolf king's heaight right now was way smaller than before but the swiftiness of its speed was much faster than before as it moves head straight towards Zhong Yi!

Zhong Yi reached the large white hammer and smashed it to the approaching wolf king.

The wolf king was knocked back several meters away from Zhong Yi, while he was only pushed back just for several steps. Though their disparity was four layers he can still fight it head-on.

Below Zhong Yi's feet was a symbol appeared, it was a mountain-shaped formation.

The wolf king quickly balanced it self and looked at Zhong Yi deviously. It slowly walked towards the two while gushing his aura of a king of the wolf that strikes fear in their hearts.

Chen Yun and Zhong Yi's heart was shaken as they feel the kingly aura of the wolf.

Fear slowly creeps out from their hearts as they felt the killing intent of this bloodthirsty wolf king!

The wolf king abruptly moves amidst their shaken hearts.

"Aaahhh" Zhong Yi suddenly screamed in fear as he fell to the ground.

He pulled his two feet off the ground and looked at his large ethereal gauntlets on his two hands and a clear depression was placed on the gauntlets.

Though their disparity in cultivation bases was only two ranks, the undisputed ethereal gauntlets that Chen Yun have was easily bent.

He flicked his two hands and he reshaped the damage from the large ethereal gauntlets.

The wolf king also rushed towards Chen Yun and it was their second time fighting one on one but in a different situation, as the wolf was now filled with power that can even battle any martial martial practitioners below the peak of Earthen Realm but for a short time.

Silvery light shone below on Chen Yuns's feet, and a mountain formation appears.

Because of the characteristics of the mountain enchants, Chen Yun was not blown back and only pushed back three steps while the wolf king was flown at the ceiling above.

The cave quakes intensely of such impact, the Swift Golden Wolf King vigorously stood up and snarled at Chen Yun.

Chen Yun turns around and saw Zhong Yi had mustered up his courage to fight off the fear instilled in his heart.

Zhong Yi was breathing heavily as he catches up his breath.

The wolf king rushed to the both of them.

When the both of them saw the approaching demon, their faces changed from delight to dignified expressions.

A white light appears below Chen Yun and a clenching hand formation appears that signifies strength!

It didn't stop there because there is another red flame formation appeared above the clenching hand formations, and below it was another formation which is a lightning formation that signifies speed and explosiveness, and each side was an armor and a shield that enhances his defense.

Chen Yun was armed-to-the-teeth by Zhong Yi's mystical enchantments, and he feels a surge of power!

Bang!

A deep crater appears as he stomped the ground while attacking the approaching demon beast.

A loud impact echoed inside the cave!

While a reverberations from the walls and grounds follows the impact; the wolf king was blown away to the walls and clouds of dirt floats the area obscuring the perception of Chen Yun, thus he channeled his left eye as the blackness of it has turned into white, clearing the obscuring clouds of dirt from his field of view and finally saw the slowly standing wolf king.

Though the wolf king was hardly standing there are no injuries received from its body as if its body was made of steel.

But the eyes of the wolf king was one of a shock and with a hint of fear was reflected in both of its eyes.

Without dallying any further Chen Yun dashed straight to the terrified wolf king which was acting haughty and ferocious lately.

Rumble! Crack!

Suddenly, the ground quakes! And a crack abruptly appears as if it was a sinkhole as it vacuumed all the earth directly to the underground. Chen Yun, Zhong Yi, and even the wolf king was not an exception as they were also swallowed underground.

"Ahhhhhh" only shouts of shock and alarm echoed inside the cave.

"Woof woof woof!" the wolf king also barked frightened.

'Huh,' Chen Yun thought because he felt they are falling right now and was not sinking!

He quickly looked around and the first thing he saw was the wolf king which was beside him, and unconsciously he punched it away from him that it just whimperingly cried in alarm from the attack.

Chen Yun then saw Zhong Yi who was unconscious.

He then gathers elemental energy at his feet and manipulated the Cloud Hands Art: Forming Stage and Condensation Stage, to form a platform.

He stepped on it and rushed towards Zhong Yi.

He caught the unconscious Zhong Yi and he looked again at his surroundings and saw that they were falling into a circular space in a size of ten radii.

He channeled and condensed a platform and rushed to the nearest edge and quickly hold some protruding earth in order for them not to fall directly below.

Grudgjjjzzz!

Like a claw of a cat, Chen Yun's large gauntlet was firmly planted on the wall and their descend was quickly cut into half.

But the wolf king was also descending slowly as it also embedded itself to the walls while looking at the darkness below.

As they go deeper they felt way hotter than above them.
