Whirling and buzzing sound rang out from the spear atop of Chen Yun’s head.

Zhong Yi was now sweating profusely as beads of sweat forming on his forehead slowly descended towards his chin passing from his nose’s sides and his mouth, his clothes were also already blanched with cold sweat.

“Oh Zhong Yi, what are you staring at?” Chen Yun asked feeling puzzled.

Silence descended as if a fart passed by.

“Ah, nothing, nothing I was just dazed when your face suddenly contorted as if you were in pain but I do not know what to do.” Zhong Yi hastily replied as he timidly brings out many medicinal pellets and pills from his pouch as if he was like Doraemon that pulling many things inside his belly.

“T-take these medicines m-maybe it can hel~” Zhong Yi stutteringly added but was cut short.

“I’m fine, I’m fine,” Chen Yun said as he waved his right hands gesturing that he was fine.

“I just suddenly breached the Third Rank of Earthen Realm right now so you don’t have to worry about it when someone breaks through naturally all the elemental energy of heaven and earth will gather of the person who broke through another level in order to help the person to consolidate the newly acquired power.” Chen Yun smiled assuring everything was fine.

“O-okay, I will return it.” Zhong Yi quickly accepted his assurance and returned all the things he gathered from his pouch.

But Chen Yun was a bit puzzled why did his breakthrough was a lot easier for the last time, he knew that some external elements influenced his success but he can pinpoint of who it was because it was not Zhong Yi after all, when Chen Yun looked at Zhong Yi he couldn’t see that he was hiding something but only his concerns towards Chen Yun.

In the first place, Chen Yun in the past world didn’t socialize many people rather than Jun and those bullies and specially his parents there are no other people he talked about so he can’t easily discern what was the signs on their face, Zhong Yi’s face has many flaws like his sweats that was still dripping from his forehead towards his chin indicating that he was not adept at lying to someone and much more than the person was way stronger than him.

‘Let’s not think about what happened to me, I’m fine as long a broke through’ he thought and scratched his head.

“Let’s go it was dark already,” Chen Yun said while looking at the skies as he stood.

“Yes let’s go, the Swift Black Wolf will appear very soon, let’s camp on one of the peaks of the mountain ranges in order for us to defend ourselves quite easily when we were on top.” Zhong Yi said as he too stood.

“Wouldn’t that be a bit dangerous because they see as from below?” Chen Yun asked.

“No, these Swift Black Wolf may fast at moving and even in the dark night like our situation right but, its movement was hindered when it will start to climb the mountain, reducing its speed by fifty percent which was the same speed when it was in the morning, but though its speed was slowed they were more Swift Black Wolf will appear and may have a chance a Swift Black Wolf King leading the pack.” Zhong Yi said with a hint of fear in his eyes.

Chen Yun eyes flicker but he didn’t answer.

Silence descended between Chen Yun and Zhong Yi but they mutually headed to the nearest mountain and started climbing it.

Suddenly two people appear at the peak of one of the Earth Shaking Mountain Range. They were Chen Yun and Zhong Yi.

Howling sounds rang out from different directions answering each other.

Chen Yun and Zhong Yi ignored the howling because they heard it multiple times that they have lost count of it.

They prepared a place to stay at and a cultivation mat to cultivate and rest.

Chen Yun quickly meditated and quickly scanned his dantian and saw the there is three-layered earth at the bottom of his dantian.

A dantian of a cultivator has three parts which were the Bottom, Middle, and Upper Region. His Bottom Region was filled with the three-layered earth while at the middle was still empty from the beginning and at the Upper Region was the formed fog but now was reduced into emptiness. Because it was already used up and turned into the third layered earth.

He felt ecstatic that he can already feel that his power had increased significantly, he feels a small and faint of reaction from the pair of gauntlets he has when he broke through from the Second Rank to the Third Rank.

He left his consciousness from his dantian and opened his eyes, he saw that Zhong Yi was now sleeping soundly on his mat but his face was feeling cold, Chen Yun couldn’t help but smile while he covered Zhong Yi’s body with a sheet of hot blanket and who knows where it came from, maybe from his belly?

After they have eaten their breakfast they descend from the mountain and head towards the third layer where Zhong Yi’s target is the plant named Third Layered White Lotus.

The Third Layered White Lotus was an item that can greatly boost his capabilities regarding his techniques especially the Ascending Blazing Star Spear!

But all of this information, Chen Yun was naturally blind of it he just wants to find a demonic beast to kick its ass using his hands and punch it using his feet.

Chen Yun and Zhong Yi were in a relaxed manner when they descended at the foot of the mountain while heading towards the third layer.

“Yes” Though Zhong Yi was scared he resolutely answered that he can though he was overwhelmed by fear.

“Then, that’s good.” Chen Yun didn’t care if he can because he knew that he was the one who helped him breakthrough last night but he didn’t pry him because many secrets that may reveal to him may cause harm for him in the near future.
