“It’s you!?”
Bandit Leader Gu’s surprised voice rang out but was ignored by fire-burning-eyed Chen Yun.
Chen Yun channeled his elemental energy to his two hands while preparing for another attack.
Bandit Leader Gu was surprised yet he quickly returned his focus to this approaching young man.
Humph!
Bandit Leader Gu snorted before he dashed towards Chen Yun. Holding his two sharp swords with each of his hands, while channeling all the elemental energy towards his sword and exuded a black elemental energy.
Zezeze
A ‘zeze’ sound resonated from the swords of Bandit Leader Gu as if it was answering his will to kill.
Ba-Clang!
Overlapping sounds of the clashing metals resonated between the two cultivators. Chen Yun was still blown backward but was coughing some blood while Bandit Leader Gu was pushed back only one step. It clearly expressed their disparity on cultivation.
Boom!
An abrupt explosion suddenly erupted!
Chen Yun looked at the direction where Bandit Leader Gu. The back of Bandit Leader Gu was bleeding that it dyed his clothes; the culprit of such injury was none other than Tu Ren!
Chen Yun quickly balanced himself and landed on the ground safely, his internal organs were still shaking off the impact recently. He swiftly channeled his elemental energy to soothe the shaking internal organs, though he was not injured on the surface his internal organs were almost ruptured by that mysterious attack, it can bypass his elemental energy that protects his body.
“He’s way much stronger than I sensed him before; even his elemental energy was denser than my elemental energy” Chen Yun thought.
It was indeed true, because Bandit Leader Gu already reached the Second Rank of Earthen Realm just last week boosting his confidence in ambushing this group of people and thought that it will be successful without any mishap might happen, but who would have thought that the person he was chasing last month suddenly appeared here, he felt that he was killing two birds with one stone!
Clang!
Bang!
Clank!
Whistling! Bang!
When he stabilized his internal organs, he quickly looked at the fight between Tu Ren and Bandit Leader Gu, at first it was Tu Ren have the upper-hand but now, he was being knocked back while receiving injuries on his body.
‘Not good.’
Chen Yun madly rushed towards the two while activating again his Clouded Steps amplifying his speed more quickly. His remaining elemental energy was only 40%!
He channeled his elemental energy again towards his hands as he was nearing the two people fighting.
Clink!
Tu Ren blocked the sword attack of Bandit Leader Gu successfully.
‘Urgh’
But he suddenly coughed up blood!
It was the same experience that Chen Yun feels recently. Though he blocked the sword the penetrating energy attacked him unhindered.
Bang!
When Bandit Leader Gu started his second attack towards Tu Ren, Chen Yun’s punch was hit at Bandit Leader Gu’s back.
“Aaaahh!” Bandit Leader Gu screamed.
His injuries were already agonizing but when Chen Yun attacked that area again he was like adding salt to his injuries making Bandit Leader Gu scream!

His scream didn’t last long as he was blown and flew towards the wall of one of the protruding wall pinning him there.
“Are you alright Tu Ren?” Chen Yun asked.
“I’m fine thanks” Tu Ren answered.
There are no pleasantries were received from Tu Ren but Chen Yun didn’t mind nor cared for pleasantries, he liked Tu Ren’s character being a straightforward person.
“How can we deal this Bandit Leader Gu?” Chen Yun questioned.
“He’s already at the Second Rank of Earthen Realm, and we are only at the First Rank, though the disparity in numbers was only one the distance in cultivation was like heaven and earth. But we may have a chance if we join together battling this man” Tu Ren specifically said.
“You’re right but the mysterious energy keeps bypassing my protection and targeted my internal organs.” Chen Yun said
“It was a penetrating energy, it doesn’t mean that it bypassed from you defense but it was condensed into small energy coming from his sword and like a needle in a large cloth it can easily penetrate than a sword. When the energy entered your body it will erupt making your internal organs shake or may even rupture” Tu Ren grimly said.
“Then what should we do?” Chen Yun asked.
“Let’s attack first, and we’ll know him better” Tu Ren answered.
…
At the other side of infighting where the members of the Black Saber Mercenary and the Blackened Bandits’ members was reduced by half, losing 7 people in the group of mercenaries while the Blackened Bandits had lost 14 people greatly diminished their combat prowess!
But the remaining of both sides have either inflicted serious injuries like severed arms or legs or several cuts in their body.
If not with the change of terrain and the blackened earth which was gone long ago there will be no loss on the sides of the Black Saber Mercenary and it might be a one-sided massacre.
But with the change of terrain and the blackened earth, the bandits have the upper-hand, and they were way more adept at using the terrain than the mercenaries and when the bandits attack and hit their target or miss it, they quickly ran around the protruding ground and hide while waiting for an opening before revealing again on another side to launch next offense.
Though most of them were successful on doing these tricks again and again, still, the Black Saber Mercenary was strong and the unlucky bandit dies when he reveals himself.
“Offense formation!” the surviving mercenary who was bruised with injuries suddenly shouted.
The remaining members immediately responded the shout though they were injured all over the place
…
Chen Yun and Tu Ren swiftly move as they approach Bandit Leader Gu.
Chen Yun activated his 1st stage, Evaporation Stage covering his surroundings with Tu Ren in order for them to launch an attack.
“Cloud Hands Art! It will be a bit simpler” Tu Ren was surprised
Bandit Leader Gu was already standing but he was channeling his elemental energy towards his right sword while looking at the two approaching enemies.

“Flaming Dragon’s Roar!” Bandit Leader Gu shouted.
“Jump!” Tu Ren shouted.
Chen Yun quickly jumped.
Roar!
A red-crescent slash slashed through their recent location cutting everything in its wake.
Beads of cold sweat appeared on Chen Yun’s forehead when he saw the scene.
“Black Saber, Meteor Slash!” Tu Ren shouted as he was falling like a meteor.
Boom!
Chen Yun quickly descended and looked at the location where Tu Ren landed.
Whoosh!
A black shadow dashed towards Chen Yun, but he didn’t dodge or attack it. When the shadow turns clearer it turned out to be Tu Ren.
His face was aghast and a deep slash was on his chest while a large quantity of blood was gushing out from his chest.
“Tu Ren!” Chen Yun was shocked.
“Run!” Tu Ren shouted.
“Like hell, I would!” Chen Yun answered as he rushed towards Tu Ren while grabbing the potion from his bag.
“We can’t defeat him even we will fight him he was way too strong!” Tu Ren answered while gritting his teeth from his severe injury.
“Hahahaha! If only our path was the same we may have ruled over this route but you didn’t accompany me then only death will be the fruit of your labor!” Bandit Leader Gu uproariously said.
His upper body was bare but was bloody, making him looks like a bloody person. The blood was not his but from Tu Ren.
Chen Yun reached Tu Ren as he took the potion and chugged it towards Tu Ren’s mouth. When Tu Ren drank the potion Chen Yun suddenly stood and looked at the bloody person in front of them.
“Is that so?” Chen Yun suddenly interrupted.
“Heh, a kid should not act like a hero. If you have not jumped down from that gorge you will be dead a bit earlier. But who would have thought that my prey appeared here again and it was way better killing two targets at one place.” Bandit Leader Gu said.
“I never dreamt to become a hero, but my only wish is to become a CULTIVATOR!” Chen Yun decisively said.
Clenching his hands, he quickly activated Evaporation Stage. A cluster of clouds exuded from his body that travels quickly at his surroundings reaching towards Bandit Leader Gu. Within 50 meters radius was covered by the dense rainbow colored clouds that obscuring the eyesight of a person. Even the fighting members of both the mercenary and bandits were put to halt because they couldn’t see their own hands how much more their enemies.
“Hahaha! Even the treasured martial art of the Cloud Hands City was within my sight, the heavens clearly give me a bountiful gift today! And who would have thought that you are a disciple of Cloud Hands City’s City Mansion, and because you are one, it’s time to…” Bandit Leader Gu wickedly said but abruptly put into a stop.
BANG!
As Bandit Leader Gu was in the middle of his nonsense speech, a loud and powerful punch hit his face as he flew back tens of meters plowing the earth together with him who was bouncing like a ragdoll as his body hit the hard ground.
“Too much crap, don’t count the chickens when the eggs were not hatched.” Chen Yun hatefully said.
Chen Yun clearly hated those people who want to obtain things through force that made the preyed person to be badly hurt, just like him in the past, he was bullied by other students, thinking if he has good constitution he’ll flip the stage just to give them a lesson but sadly, all was just in his mind.
So now that he got what he dreamt to be when Bandit Leader Gu was talking so much crap about obtaining something or whatnot, his ears twitch as if he heard the things he hated the most. Thus, the bloody Bandit Leader Gu has blown away and was stopped when he hits on one of the walls of the protruding earth.
“How dare you hit this Blackened Earth Bandit Leader’s face! You…are...courting……DEATH!” Bandit Leader Gu angrily howled.
“I uttered that first so don’t feel like you’re imposing as you say that.” Chen Yun absurdly rebuked.
When Bandit Leader Gu heard his rebuke, he nearly coughed out blood from anger. But he didn’t argue again because in the first place he couldn’t see Chen Yun anymore because of the obscuring rainbow fog around him, thus, he takes action.
‘Flaming Dragon’s Roar!’
Roar!
Another “Flaming Dragon’s Roar” erupted from his sword; it was not only one crescent slash appeared but a cross slash coming from the two swords in his hands!
Because he couldn’t find where Chen Yun was located at, he used wide range skill to cover most of the area.
But there’s no laceration of flesh or scream that resonates but only a smooth slice of cutting ground.
“Heh, you think I’ll just die because you have used cross roar?” Chen Yun’s voice echoed near in Bandit Leader Gu.
Bandit Leader Gu was shocked and unconsciously hack his two swords towards the direction he heard as he felt the voice was so near that as if the air from Chen Yun’s mouth was touching his ears.
“I’ve felt this on the gorge, illusory but real. Humph, he thinks that I am easily tricked again.” Bandit Leader Gu thought.
Bandit Leader Gu suddenly puts his hands on his chest, his body starting to heat up and suddenly burns fiercely as the flames dancing upon his body.
Dragon’s Flame Eruption!
A ring of flames exited from his body and enlarges outwards. The ring of flame was like the void that consumes all things, devouring the fog that surrounds Bandit Leader Gu until it reaches 20 diameters.
The face of Chen Yun has turned grim as he saw the clouds he painstakingly created were devoured by the surging waves of flames coming from the Bandit Leader Gu.

46 Year Old Syndrome
The daily Litrpg journal of a fairly average 46 year old man in a world where hundreds of thousands of people suddenly have a super power.Follow him as he learns skills, runs away a lot, suffers crippling headaches, avoids reading his titles, and tries to avoid breaking his body that didn't get enough calcium and vegetables.[Disclaimer 1: Despite the following, I will fix any typos pointed out. This is a writing exercise so chapters are mostly first drafts, otherwise I'd end up rewriting each chapter for a month or more with no real changes. My goals are a steady output by not using perfectionism as a procrastination method. I've already got laziness and additions to reading/games, I don't need a 3rd reason to procrastinate.][Disclaimer 2: The main character is a more normalized version of me, with 170% less laziness installed, and a few buffs like greater courage. Other things like having a job are partially similar. No other characters are based on real people because most people I know are either too normal to be useful or too fucked in the head to be believable.]

Take Two!
College student majoring in botany has a fateful encounter with truck-kun while trying to get back in shape after realizing that his freshman 15 turned into the sophomore 20, and then the junior 30. After going through a very amusing(to some) hell, he gets the chance to transmigrate into a body of his own design on a magical world. Playing to his strengths, he chose the Plantkin race, and the new name of Sorrel to match. This is a slow-paced, magical, slice-of-life story with a focus on relationships. There will be sex(I'll try to keep the explicit stuff to a minimum, but it will be there), swearing, really bad jokes, and enough food to spoil your diet. There will not be a lot of action, epic quests to save the world, or anything even remotely resembling a big-bad-evil-guy(a few smaller bad guys, sure. But, no BBEG). Note: This is a re-write of my first story "Congratulations, You're Dead!". And, is much more what I wish I had written in the first place. The characters and the world are very similar, with a few key differences. The story may borrow some elements from Congrats, but should be considered as its own work. Reading Congrats first is not needed, or even reccommended, not unless you want to see some really cringey romance in the early chapters.

Keter
They called him "Keter"; The Top-Most; The Crown. An unsurpassable, unstoppable, unkillable soldier. Etched with a twisted set of morals and studded by an impossible drive for lachesism, Keter terrorized the world for ages. But time, you see, is a most patient thing. As sure as it gives, so does it take. Even the Crown saw the eternal spindle drawing on him. He blinked, for the last time, and saw a world anew. Synopsis. So, basically, I’ve gotten tired of all these stale mcs that keep popping up left right and center. Either they are painstakingly good-natured or horribly written ‘evil’ characters. So, here’s my take on the concept of a Villain. Someone ruthless, cunning, and not shy of seeking darker means to an end. Hell, as long as it’s effective, he’ll prefer the blacker side of business. The new world will be, like many others, one in a medieval-type setting with traces of magic and the like; though I hope to make better use of this than most others who simply steal ideas from classical novels or other sources.

Grinning Enigma
Freddy is a very bad boy. Meets some people that know what he did. He tries to escape punishment, makes it [Redacted]. Freddy might be a mass-murdering troll, but he isn’t a bad person, right? Right? Disclaimer: This is not an instruction manual. If you want to be a horrible human being, go figure it out yourself. Autopsy: Writing this story gave me some degree of insight into how much I've managed to fuck up my own personality by suppressing basic needs. Now I hate myself even more. It started as a story where the MC was supposed to be a blend of the NZ-land shooter and other cancerous personalities. That way I wouldn't feel bad about torturing him. Instead I ended up witnessing all the worst aspects of my own personality, or lack thereof. I'm a horrid person, I can't even bring myself to do what's the only right thing at this point.

Writing this as a light novel, but will consider going further. -Primarily hard fantasy, with occasional sci-fi elements mixed in. -Planned weekly releases (though I still work full time so hey, the schedule might be a bit irregular). -A shift in scenes is signaled by the symbol ~X~ Please leave any constructive feedback, I'd love to make this story the best version of itself!
