Darius continues to blink towards Taset, keeping an eye out for anything interesting. It takes him a few hours, but he does make it back in the same day. He lines up to go through the gate, not being blocked at all. Darius looks around the city as he walks back to the Adventurers Guild. He walks in, looking around a little, seeing someone new behind the desk, and that there are a few adventurers at the tables.

Darius walks over to the desk, looking at the man as he says, "Hi, I probably need my guild ranking updated, I'm a bit of a special case, though." The man behind the desk says "A special case? Really?" clearly being quite skeptical. "Alright, I'll get a status scanner." The man says as he reaches under the desk. Darius shakes his head as he says "That's not a good idea, especially anything lower than probably silver rank. It'd be best to let the Guild Master know that Darius is back."

The man behind the desk looks at Darius and says "You are asking to see the Guild Master? You can't be more than copper rank, what makes you think you can see the guild master?" Darius sighs as he shakes his head, pulling out his badge and putting it on the desk "I'm iron rank, three days ago I was level 17, which is when I became iron rank, now I'm 26, so go get the Guild Master."

The man's face pales slightly as he nods "Right, I'll do that." He says before he turns and pretty much runs back towards the Guild Master's office. Darius shakes his head, sighing as he waits for the man to come back, looking around the guild a little. He waits for about a minute before he hears someone walking up to the desk behind him, he turns to see who it is. "Ah, hello Guild Master."

Kat looks over Darius "Hello Darius, so, you've levelled up again? What's the story behind that?" Darius shrugs as he says "Oh, you know, just dealing with a small undead army." Kat's eyes widen as she says "A-an undead army?" Darius nods as he says "Yeah, there was a Gnoll village that was being attacked by undead, so we went to deal with it. Turns out there was a grimoire that was causing the attacks."

Kat frowns as she says "A Grimoire, do you have any idea who made it?" Darius shakes his head saying "I have no idea, it didn't really say when it was telling me it was going to experiment on me." "it was going to experiment on you?" Kat says surprised. "Well, it wanted to, that didn't really happen. It didn't like the strength of my aura." Darius says with a shrug.

"And just how strong is your aura?" Kat asks, looking over Darius. "Strong enough to set a grimoire on fire," Darius says with a smile. Kat's eyes widen in surprise as she says "On fire? what's your mana regen?" "Well, my wisdom is about 217 at the moment, so make of that what you will," Darius says as he looks at her.

"T-that's higher than mine." Kat quietly says as she looks at Darius. "How high are your other stats?" "My lowest would be luck at 39," Darius says with a shrug. "Your luck improves?" Kat says as she looks at him. "Yeah, yours doesn't?" Darius says as he raises an eyebrow. "No, it's very rare to be able to improve your luck, that doesn't normally happen," Kat says shaking her head. "Well, there is a reason that my class is an epic class. Anyway I should probably be a higher rank, wouldn't you agree?"

Kat nods as she says "Yes, You probably should, I can only make you a steel rank, however after that, you will have to go to the Adventurers guild headquarters and talk to them to become a higher rank." Darius nods slightly saying "Right, and where would that be?" "It's in the capitol Vlario, it's a week's travel to the northwest."

"Right, thanks Kat, I'll take a steel badge, now, I'll probably have to go there eventually," Darius says with a nod. Kat gives him a badge and before he turns to leave she says "Good luck with whatever you are going to do next."
