Darius walks out of his cabin, heading to get some breakfast from the people who are cooking. After he eats he looks around for Rinar. Darius finds Rinar quickly, going over to talk to him. “Hey Rinar, so I’m going to be going back to Taset, I have to get them to recognize us as a legitimate kingdom. So, I’m going to leave you in charge, I’m probably going to be gone for a while after all.”

Rinar looks at him surprised before he nods “Right, you can trust me, I’ll make sure nothing goes wrong.” Darius looks around before he nods as well “Alright, I’ll be off, I’ll try to be back as quickly as I can, but I suspect I’ll be gone for a week at least.”

Darius then turns and walks out the gates, looking around a little before he starts to walk through the woods. After about 30 minutes of walking Darius stops, looking around a little. ‘I really need some sort of movement spell,’ Darius frowns a little as he turns on his Mana Vision before focusing his mana on his feet, trying to form something to allow him to move faster than normal. As he watches the spells structure, he sees that it is forming by spreading up from his toes. He frowns slightly as he sees it stop halfway up his feet.

Darius shakes his head as he steps ahead, before becoming disoriented and finding himself 5 metres ahead of where he was with a screen popping up in front of his eyes.

Spell Created [Minor Blink lvl 1]

Allows user to blink through space 5 metres in any direction.

Distance increases by .25 meters per level

Mana cost reduced by 3% per level

Increased levels reduce disorientation.

Doing that manages to level up both Mana Manipulation and Spell Creation to level 5. “Not exactly what I had in mind, but that’s certainly useful.” Darius then looks around before he starts to Blink down the road, finding that it uses 50 mana to cast. Darius uses it enough that he levels it up to level 20 before the day is over, already over halfway to Taset.

Darius sets up camp for the night in a field, laying down in a bedroll and going to sleep quickly. In the morning he is awoken by loud noises coming from two directions, as well as the ground rumbling.

Darius groans as he gets up before he looks around confused. His eyes widen in surprise as he sees two massive armies charging towards him, one wearing white and blue armour, and the other wearing rainbow armour. “Oh, shit.” Darius quickly gathers his camp into the backpack before he turns parallel to both armies, starting to blink through the quickly closing gap. Darius is unable to get out from between the armies before they clash, though he does manage to avoid being one of the targets of the men on either side in the initial clash. Darius draws his sword to defend himself as he continues to make his way through the battle, avoiding people and using blink to get away as quickly as he can while people fight all around him.

Darius hears yelling coming from his right and looking towards the sound he sees a man charging towards him. “Shit,” Darius says as he turns to block the man's sword before he headbutts the man. The man is knocked back, a hand going to his nose before Darius Blinks away again.

With multiple uses of Blink Darius manages to get out from inside the battle. He continues to use Blink to get far away from the battle before he turns around to look at it “Well, shit, I wasn’t quite expecting this to happen, especially not me getting caught in the middle of it all.” Darius turns to leave, but as he does an arrow lands near him. He looks down towards it surprised as he says “What the?” before another lands.

He looks towards the army from Taset, seeing multiple arrows falling from the sky towards him from their direction. “Fuck.” He says as he starts to blink away again, continuing to head away from the battle.

Darius stops blinking away as soon as the battle is no longer visible, shaking his head as he looks around. He sits down to rest and regenerate his mana, closing his eyes as he rests. However, he soon hears the sound of horses approaching, he groans as he stands and looks towards the direction he hears them from, seeing they are coming from the direction of the battle.

Darius frowns as he sees 3 people on horses approaching him. He decides to wait and see what they want.
