《War of the Zwei Kinds [Logbook Deactivated]》12 - Operation Griffon (Part 1)

"Rampage, take guard. I will go forward and look for the intel." A feminine voice commanded as she made a hand gesture towards William.
William nodded, "Rampage taking foot. I will guard for any incoming ambushes."
"Alright…" The feminine soldier nodded as she slowly crouched walked under the collapsed building. It was rather old, growing moss almost everywhere.
William tunes into his tic-tac walkie talkie thing. "So, when is back upcoming to Geist?" He whispered softly to the feminine shadow that slowly disappeared.
"When the time comes …" Shanina said as a rough sound of roughening could be hurt. "Got one…" she whispered back.
William hears soft footsteps. To make sure it's not an enemy, he breathed slowly and held his gun properly to not accidentally trigger a fire.
Noticing the shoe of the person was rather spoiled and old, he took shots. He knew it was an axis with a blink of an eye.
There was another one with the axis soldier. This one was a little nervous and scared. Frightened, she held herself to a wall, with one of her hand, holding onto her handgun, aiming at the Recruit.
"There there easy… if you don't want to die, drop the gun." William said as he gestured as he held his AR HK33.
The nervous axis soldier dropped her gun and placed her hands behind her head.
William worried that she might counter-attack, he tasered her with his Zeun Branded Stun-gun.
The axis soldier held the pain as he handcuffed her after following the detachment of the taser needles.
"Geist got a faulty axis. I gunned down her partner though." William whispered as he tightened the cuffs.
Some static~
"Alright then...do a tap down. Make sure they don't have any concealed weapons recruit. ~I meant Rampage. Recover guardian crystals if they have one that is."

"Alright...turning down signal, I only hear static from you," William said as he turned off his walkie-talkie.
The wheezy breathing of the axis he cuffed could be heard. She was really pale and probably had a physical dysfunction with her lungs. Maybe that's why she didn't want to fight back~.
William looks at the dysfunctional axis soldier who also looked back at him, she made soft whimpers as if begging for something.
"You just stay alright… Don't cause trouble." He said sternly towards the axis hostage before watching the nearby corridor of this abandoned building.
"Rampage, I found the Intel, coming back now. Start to pack up." Captain Shanina said as she could be heard having heavy footsteps while walking.
"On it…" William dimmed the electronic oil lamp and wrapped up the cloth used to hide their weapons.
William grabbed the axis soldier who got gunned downed and placed it into a body bag. He kept an eye on the faulty hostage who entirely given herself up, looking like a dead corpse.
William holstered his weapons except for his handgun. Grabbing the hostage and placing by his shoulder, he slowly walked to the secret entrance that they entered before the operation.
At the secret entrance, William and Captain Shanina met up.
"How did the other soldiers not notice our entry? " William asked as they headed back to the temporary campsite, he still carrying the faulty axis hostage.
"No idea, I guess they threw in the faulty clones here. Just like your friend there." Captain Shanina pointed to the hostage.
"Aren't faulty technically friendly?" William asked.
"Usually, but they tend to be idiots and shoot themselves by an accidental misfire and then luckily shoot us somehow," Geist said as she helped William placed the equipment into a crate. William disposed the body badly in the dead ends of the camp site's forest and kept the hostage next to him always.

The hostage seemed to enjoy the warmth of the fire. She stared at it constantly and held her hands close to it even if it risks burning her own hands, Axis soldiers couldn't feel pain, so they can actually brutally get hurt but somehow still able to recover.
William takes a peek with the hostage now and then. She seemed fine, she was hypnotised with the flames.
"Should we still stick with our operator names?" William asked.
"Yes, until the operation is completed. An axis soldier has a good memory of a person's name even if it was dying or the inability to speak or write." Captain Shanina
(Geist) said in her monotonic voice.
…
Captain Shanina's walkie talkie had static. "Captain, your escape has arrived, Evacuation available." The words of a pilot sounded as there could be heard of loud rotating motors.
"Where's the coordinates?" Shanina asked.
"From your current area, six o'clock forwards, five hundred meters at least."
"Alright, let's go," William said as he poked off the fire and hid their campsite by kicking the makeshift items into splinters.
The hostage gained a little of her senses and looked at William.
William just reached for her and pulls her along by holding onto her weak and feeble arm.
Following the intentions, the faulty axis just let her body do the work.
Nearing the helicopter, sounds of communication could be heard.
"Over here~ we have to go now!" The co-pilot shouted at them.
William throws the equipment in and was pulled up by Captain Shanina.
The hostage was placed between William and the Captain as the door of the helicopter was shut close.
The helicopter rotating it's rotors, started to slowly gain win, reaching its top speed, it raised to the sky and headed off to the direction of the base.
Captain Shanina crossed her arms and looks outside through a small window opening. No worries, the glass was bulletproof.
William took care of the hostage, constantly keeping an eye on her.
The hostage curious of William's actions kept looking back at him as he looked at her, exchanging sights.
The co-pilot turned her head towards the operators. "That's a faulty hostage right !? We have to make sure so it won't somehow attack us."
William shouted back due to the loud noise and vibration of the rotor blades. "Yes! It's faulty."
"Alright, just checking!" The co-pilot said as she talked to her communication box.

8 180Shadowrun: Blake Island School of Magic
It's a high tech, low life. It's the Seattle Metroplex in 2074. It rises like a steel and concrete cancer out of the earth. Poverty is rampant, corruption is everywhere, crime is out of control, corporations basically control everything, the old United States is fractured, magic has come back and now it turns out that humanity has been joined by elves, dwarves, orks and trolls. The old world ended but the rent is still due. Life goes on. You'd be surprised what people can adapt to, especially if they don't have a choice. One of the places where life goes on is just west of Seattle. Surrounded by the waters of the Puget Sound is an island. On that island is the Blake Island School of Magic. A decade ago it was known for producing some of the most talented awakened in the world. That reputation was hijacked by the wealthy corporate elite who now park their teenage children there. And since it's a boarding school, their parents mostly forget about them. Three young people, who are certainly not wealthy or elite, are chosen this year to attend this school of magic in hopes of revitalizing their reputation for talent. One from the ash drifts of the Puyallup Barrens, one from the most densely populated slum hive in the world and one from prison. This is their story. -- This story is set in the Shadowrun universe. If you're not familiar with Shadowrun, it mostly tells the stories of deniable mercenaries called shadowrunners in a cyberpunk dystopia. Instead of telling another story solely about shadowrunners, this story will tell the tale of young people navigating a world that is indifferent to them at best and actively hostile at worst. Shadowrunners will be in the story and we'll see them operate, but they won't be its main focus. This story originally began in 2017 as a passion project and continues to this day on the Somethingawful.com forums. The unedited version is over a million words strong. There are currently seven books in this series and I am currently in the process of editing them. If you read this story then you won't lack for content. -- The Topps Company, Inc. has sole ownership of the names, logo, artwork, marks, photographs, sounds, audio, video and/or any proprietary material used in connection with the game Shadowrun. And how could such a plain-looking boy like Leon ever hope to survive in a world where everyone, including the demons, don't really like him. They don't hate him, but they would rather not have anything to do with him. Disclaimer: My grammar is crap, and you have the right to tell me just how much I suck at writing. Also if your feeling like this series is very much like Arifureta, then I'm sorry. Because the beginning of this story will sound very much like that series.
