《Saved Memories》Introductions

The thing about royal ceremonies is that introductions are an important part of it even when everyone attending knows who you are. My introduction, my brothers too definitely, especially my sister's, have all been rehearsed for weeks to have it go as perfectly as it possibly can. I had to practice harshly when it was me in the spotlight. You have to have a certain pose that shows elegance and propriety; you must always have a small smile shown on your lips to appear pleasant to quaint with, and on goes the tedious list of musts.
"I will be waiting for you at the end of the steps, my prince."
"I know Louise."
"You mustn't feel-"
"I said I know Louise. Don't worry yourself so much, I don't feel any kind of embarrassment left from last time."
Louise frowned but didn't press anymore on the topic. I was being honest. Me passing out in front of everybody before had nothing to do with myself so the embarrassment only lasted a moment.
"Oh~" My shoulder's straightened further at that lucid voice coming from down the hall. Louise bowed towards my second eldest brother, his blond hair near identical to Izzy's, but his eyes were a gold taken after our mother. His posture was always as cunning as he himself, yet it held the charm of a true royal. Behind him followed his own Butler. His clothes were a theme of white, black, and gold linings.
I turned to him and offered a smile in greeting, "Brother Avery,"
He grinned down at me. Being four years older, he had two heads over me. "Little Eli, I haven't seen you since last month."
"I can understand you've been busy with the academy."
Avery raised a curious brow before smirking as he said, "Oh right, you're almost reaching the age of nine. Did father say anything about you joining the academy yourself?"

I purse my lips and look to Louise who shook his head. "I guess not," I answer.
"Then I guess you're bound to the palace." His tone seemed mocking. "I was right to think neither Mother or Father would want you outside of here. As a matter of fact, when have you ever left the palace grounds?"
I raised a brow at his question, wondering what I should be offended about. "A palace is a large place, I still have yet to explore much of it. Once I do, I may consider leaving the grounds."
"Hmm, that's a nice plan."
"Not a big one as becoming a future Kings Guard."
Avery let a sound rip from the back of his throat, holding back a chuckle. "So very true." He turned to his butler, "When is Elder Brother arriving Calvey?"
Calvey took out his white pocket watch, one symbol of three to show that he was a direct servant to a royal. Louise had one too. "The announcements will start in five minutes."
"Do you think Elder Brother will be late this time? His record is flawless."
"Did you honestly believe that?" The voice which cut through was deep enough to mistake it for an adult. However, the speaker was only a boy at the age of 13. It helped that my eldest brother looked older than he is.
"Oh, Elder Brother!" The mischievous glint in Avery's eyes vanished to show fondness.
Our Eldest Brother was a man already, with his strength in swordsmanship being that of a pure prodigy, his intellect high enough to match that of a decade scholar, and aesthetic beauty carried in every fiber of his being. He was a prodigy named the pride of the kingdom, as Mr. Reinhardt had put it.

"Avery, Eli, I can see you are prepared to begin the night."
"Of course Elder Brother."
"Well then, make sure to give Isabella a successful ceremony. No mistakes will be allowed from you two either."
"Yes."
Elias stands out among the Sinnett Royal family like Father. Among us four siblings, he is the only one to take all of our Fathers' features, such as his black hair and blue eyes.
"Where's Hail?" Avery asks Elias. Hail is my Eldest brother's butler.
"He is waiting to receive me once my introduction is dealt with."
"Then Calvey, go on to join him." Calvey bowed once before leaving to the hidden steps to go downstairs.
"I will be heading down as well my prince," Louise tells me.
"Okay." I watch as Louise walks away. It was only a moment before I could hear the clear voice of the announcer, his voice grabbing all of our attention, and no doubt, that of the audience down in the main hall.
"Our dear guests of King and Queen Sinnett, we welcome you to the first coming of age of our kingdom's first-born princess. Before the night can begin in full, I introduce you to our Royal Family, the next generation of leadership."
Leaders? Oh, how I may disappoint.
The speech before the actual introduction goes on for another thirty seconds, a time I lose interest and miss the part until the first name is spoken. "...Our third prince, Prince Eli Dru Sinnett!" I still from confusion. My name was not meant to be said first.
My brothers seem to be confused as well, as they look back to me questionably for a moment before stepping aside for me to go forward.
After a second of hesitation, I proceed to move on from it. I would ask about it later. I take a deep deep breath and take the first step to show myself to those waiting.
