《Saved Memories》Awaiting The Day

The grand hall is decorated with a mix of colors from pink to blue to yellow; a strange assortment which fit surprisingly well. "They've done a lot in only a week," I commented as I stepped down the stairway to which my sister would later have to in the day of her first coming of age, to the applauds of dozens of guests.
Louise walked steadily behind me as always. "They have been planning the day for months before, so it is not surprising, my prince." He replied.
"That is true."
As I was looking around the main hall, someone called out to me, "Prince Eli." The man was the organizer of the ceremony my father had hired for organizing the setting. He had done mine and my brother's as well, which made him known as the Royal Families event organizer. He was a man in his mid-forties and still had a full head of black hair with graying strands blending in. He looked more like a businessman if he were to be compared in my old world.
"Mr. Hanz, you are doing splendidly with the finishing decoration," I tell him.
"Thank you. Princess Isabella gave me quite the challenge with what she wanted."
I chuckled, "I could imagine."
"I still remember when I had planned your first coming of age Prince Eli. You were already such a mature child back then, telling me to do what I saw fit."
I shook my head, "Though I would've liked to put in my opinion on what I had to wear."
Mr. Hanz smiled amused, "You looked exquisite in the robes Prince Eli."
I smiled back in acknowledgment, "You're words are too kind."
"Not at all," Our little chat is interrupted by a worker with questions for Mr. Hanz, so I gave him a farewell, "I'll leave you to your work. I hope to see you at the ceremony Mr. Hanz."

He bowed before going back to his work.
I looked back to Louise to see his eyes narrowed towards something, I follow his line to see it was Mr. Hanz. Before I could really make out any implications, Louise told me that breakfast should be ready by now. I shrug off the questions I would've asked if I had not been aware of how hungry I was.
Last night was a long one. My evening lessons with Mr. Reinhardt left me too mentally tired, more than it usually does, and I had fallen asleep the second I was in the comfort of my bed. Louise let me rest due to the fact that I wouldn't have been able to eat anyway. I grow nauseous when I'm tired and so I'm to wait until I wake up to eat.
Breakfast was a simple toast with original tea. I made it back to my room to have as much relaxation as possible before the energy of the day reached its prime. But that seemed null when my door burst open by an upset Izzy. "Brother!" She yelled out as she held me in a tight embrace.
I looked to Miranda who followed after her with a questioning look but she only shook her head. I looked down at Izzy with a pat to her head, "What is it, Izzy?" This almost seemed like a repeat of yesterday.
"Miranda won't let me wear the red dress!"
"Red dress? Hadn't we decided on the blue one?"
"I changed my mind!"
I gave one more exasperated look to Miranda who only sighed. "She had changed her mind only an hour ago, Prince Eli. We cannot do anything now as we had already modified the blue dress to fit the ceremony. The red one is much too plain to wear." She explained.

"No!" Izzy yelled out.
After a moment of contemplation, I put my hands under Izzy's arm to lift her up to my lap, it was easy despite there only being a three-year difference between us. She sniffed and dug her face into the crook of my neck. "Izzy," I started, "Do you want to know how my own ceremony went?"
Izzy lifted her head to look up to me. "What?" Through her teary eyes, there was a shine of interest.
"Well, everything went as normal. The grand hall was decor-"
"How did you decorate it!?" Izzy interrupted excitedly.
"I didn't decorate it," I spent the next twenty minutes entertaining Izzy my tale. She showed surprise that I put in no opinion and laughter when I told her about the passing out.
"I don't want that to happen to me!" She said as she chuckled.
"Obviously, there are many people working hard to make it work out and they need you to work with them. The first thing you need to help them with is keeping to your original decisions. That includes wearing your blue dress." Before she could retort I continue, "Even when it is a dress you don't wish to wear, you will be the most beautiful."
"Really?"
"Really." I smile down to her, "Now go back to your room so you can prove to everyone just how beautiful you are."
Izzy giggles and rushes back towards Miranda who sends me a thankful bow before guiding my sister away. I sighed and asked Louise to hand me a cup of water.
"You do excellent at having Princess Isabella behave, my prince." He comments as he hands me the glass.
"It's a challenge I must deal with daily," I say jokingly. Spending time with my sister and Louise are the two highlights of my day, so challenge or not, I will see to it.
When it was only an hour till lunch, Louise began his quest to get me ready for the upcoming ceremony, where I would have to greet guests and chatter with fellow aristocrats my age to stay on the acquainted side of our kingdom's future noble heads. Though I don't know about a child being particularly as young as me, or Izzy.
Louise made sure there were no wrinkles to be found anywhere on my admittedly comfortable clothing. "I'm surprised it feels good to wear this," I comment. The clothes I'm wearing were of royalty design - if that was a thing. The overall theme was white, grey and black. White being our kingdom's national color. It even has a short shoulder cape to top it all off.
"Of course, I've had a personal tailor of mine fit it for you. He has quite the talent."
"Indeed," I say as I look myself over in the mirror, "It even makes me look mature."
"You don't need clothing to make you look mature, my prince." He compliments.
I smile and pat Louise's arm, "Now don't be jealous that you can't dress up yourself."
"Of course not my prince."
I laugh in pleasure.

Death's Daughter | Supernatural, D.W.
My life is normal, or at least relative to it. Really, how normal does life get, being the offspring of the most murderous of beings, the undertaker himself? Being Death's daughter isn't easy. Existence itself is a trying subject; even more trivial when it's based around taking the lives of (mostly) innocent people. The word mostly is an asterisk for people like Sam and Dean Winchester. My father informed me of them at a young age after a reaping that had obviously gone sideways. "If you have the chance," he instructed me, "drag those obnoxious cock roaches down to Hell, and leave them there."Then, one day, two flannel-clad idiots and their angel on a leash wander into my jurisdiction of the veil. My life has never been the same; my life has never been the preconceived notion of 'normal' that it once was.Disclaimer: I do not own any characters or plot lines from Supernatural.
