《The Aggresive Cheater》Chapter 01: Summoning gone wrong

Suddenly, I'm struck with acute pain, my head feels like it's splitting. it's like some sort of torture. As if my body is being torn apart and being repaired again and again.
Immediately after my consciousness parted from the pain "Who are you?" asked the girl intently. She was examining my face. The sky was a clear blue behind her.
She seemed to be close to my age. Underneath a black cloak, she wore a gray blouse and a gray pleated skirt. She knelt down and looked, shocked, at my face.
Her face is very cute, She had looks that would make people say that she was extremely beautiful. She had clear blue eyes, and a slightly small mouth. Her height was around the average height of a woman in her sixteenth.
She wear a gem necklace around her neck, red eyes, white skin and blonde hair. She looked like a doll and I think she is indeed a doll if she were to sit unmoving.
‘Still, that's some kind of weird thing she's wearing, isn’t it a robe where a magician usually wear? Is this some kind of play?’
I was lying on the ground, facing the blue sky, I was unsure of what happen and how I got here. I moved my head to take a look around my surrounding. Many people in black cloaks were curiously examining me. Parted my vision from those crowd of black cloaked people, I looked to the distance, an endlessly rich grassy plain stretches as my eyes can see, and in the middle of those plain I saw a building like huge castle with stone like walls...It's just like a midieval ages.
My headache is killing me, in many sense. Giving my head a shake, I ask, "Who are you people? Where am I?”
Everyone around me had some sort of black stick 30cm long and at the tip of their stick there’s a small crystal like object and they wore the same cloak as that girl's.
‘Are they filming something? Or did I wander into the past? It seems plausible considering there’s a castle lying around accompanying with weird cloaked people.’

" Eva, what happen? Did we made some sort of mistake during the Summoning?" someone asked confused.
It appeared the girl looking into my face was named Eva.
"I... I don’t know" The girl in front of Lestat said in a refined voice that carried a nice melody in it.
"What mistake are we talking about? The chant is something our school has passed down from generation to generation and this is the first time something like this to happen."
“Hmm there’s nothing we can do, headmaster what should we do?”
“Bring him to the guest quarter and let him rest first, I think he need it” an old man with white hair down to his shoulder and thick beard said with a deep voice. As the white haired oldman finish his words my consciousness starting to fade and I fainted.
It was daybreak and the sky in the east had just started to show itself, it has been two days since then.
“ Uhh my head ... what a weird dream”
“Eh...where am I? Don’t tell me it’s not a dream..” I said while rubbing my head hoping for my headache to dissapear, and then as I starting to sober up I realize that I can see a small Icon floating on the lower left of my vision and [Menu] written on it.
Somehow the menu opens when I tap it with my finger. A blue transparent window appears in my vision, It’s divided into tabs for [Status], [Inventory], [Magic], [Skill], [Map] and [Log].
I check my status, and turn out that my level is 1, and all other attribute are 20 except for my health and mana.
“Come to think of it, it’s like a game isn’t it” I curved my mouth slightly.
‘There's also Age, 17 years old, Job: -, nothing? I’m jobless?’
I'm wearing my school uniform, white shirt with a black vest, and black pant.
‘Come to think of it, Last time I remember I was on the roof reading ‘Don Quixote’ but I lost to the drowsiness in the end, ah what a pity, in the end I did’t finish the book, I wonder what happen to the gentle knight and his servant Sancho Panza..’

I turn my attention back to the menu floating on my vision, this time I tap the [Magic] and [Skill] icon, but they are utterly blank.
Opening [Map], it’s displays an area and there is ‘Arachnid Academy’ written atop the map.
‘Academy? Hmm so they are students and teacher of this academy’
The Map also display my position as a small black point and many point color in green showing that sign as a neutral, red as enemies and blue as allies. Currently there’s only black dots displayed on the map, and it’s only show area of my room, the rest is shown in gray indicated that they are unexplored area.
“Snow?” I muttered as I looked outside the window ‘It would be great if there is Don Quixote book in this academy library.’
I straightened myself up and pulled my mind back from my illusions to reality. Actually there was a fundamental mistake here. In the first place this is not even Earth. This is another world.
“Kana Edena, prepare yourself!”
Two people clad in black cloak floating in the sky. They held a black stick. They're chanting something and a flame appear from both sides of a girl named Kana and then formed in front of her acting as a shield.
“Flame Wall!” Kana shout.
Boom!
There is explosion as Kana’s Flame wall made contact with her enemy magic, and a smile appeared on a girl named Kana.
“Magic? It’s indeed different world” I narrowed my eyes while looking at the battle of magic at the sky through the window in my room.
In the Arachnid Academy, Kana is a second year student that specialized in fire magic, this academy consist with 30 students in each class. The master who taught her was known as The Flaming Saint . He was the strongest Fire Magic User in this Academy and also one of the teacher.
Creak
[Sound of door opening]
“Come with me to the headmaster office, he’s waiting for your arrival.” A man appeared from the door.
‘a teacher? no, I don't think so..’
“Who are you?”
“My name is Nicolas, one of the guard of Arachnid Academy”
'How can it be?! he can't be a guard, he... he is too ugly for a guard?!' my mind was conflicted as I saw the ugly guard. 'alright, let's play it cool'
“I see, take me to him then” I keep my indifferent demeanor to mask my conflicted mind.
I stare at my map as I make my way through the corridor, It also makes it possible to view detailed information when I tap the green dot in the map that indicated that he really is a guard.
“I’m sorry I can only stay this far … you will be able reach headmaster office in 10 minutes if you walk this way.”
"Will we get to meet each other again in the future?" I ask
"Hm? my duty is to guard the dueling arena, do you see them from the window in your room earlier? you'll find me there."
"I see, that's good then" I said without looking at the so called guard, hoping I would never to cross path with him ever again. ' now I understand why headmaster only let him go this far.'
I looked at my map and indeed there’s headmaster office in the end of this corridor, but everything is grey past the door.
Time is displaying on the menu, it’s 7 am. He opened the door that lead to headmaster office, with Creak sound, the door open and revealing an old man sitting with his elbows propped on his desk, looking unbearably bored as he shook his white beard and hair. Noticing that the young boy in front of him has arrived, he open his eyes and stop shooking his beard.
“Welcome to my office young man, my name is Joseph De Guignes, headmaster of Arachnid Academy. It’s nice to finally meet you” he said with strange light in his eyes, no one know what the oldman think.
