Rihan was picking the grasses with Jasmine's instructions. The reason why the Fire Spirit Grass was valuable, was due to the fact that it was extremely difficult to collect and store. Even the slightest amount of carelessness may cause the fire spirit inside the grass to all disappear.

So Jasmine assisted Rihan from the space, this issue posed no problem at all. Rihan extended his left hand and grabbed at the mature strains of Fire Spirit Grass in a frenzy, easily collecting them into the Sky Poison Pearl while following Jasmine's instructions.

Jasmine kept on reminding Rihan the value of this grasses: "A random strain of Fire Spirit Grass could be sold for a very high price outside. Keep that in mind."

Rihan harvested in great amounts without batting an eye as if they were ordinary cabbages. Ddraig on the other side could only smile wryly.

Soon enough, All the Fire Spirit Grass were all gathered into the Sky Poison Pearl. Rihan didn't even spare a single one.

"This would be enough to sustain our trip in the New Moon City."

They would never have to worry about not having enough money to spend anymore. It would be more convenient for them.

"Rihan, use the Sky Poison Pearl to refine the fire spirit grass!" Jasmine spoke inside Rihan, pulling him back to reality.

"How can I do that?" Rihan inquired. He had no experience in refining.

Jasmine could only sigh and slowly taught Rihan the process.

Rihan took out a Fire Spirit grass that he collected, and swiftly used the Sky Poison Pearl to refine it with Jasmine's help. The Fire Spirit Grass quickly shriveled under the Sky Poison Pearl's processing, and in the end turned into a very small, ruby-like object.

"So what's next?" Rihan asked.

'Consume it.'

Rihan threw the ruby-like object in his mouth after observing it in awhile.

A searing feeling slid down his insides, along his oral cavity; followed by the sensation of heat rapidly dispersing outwards from the inside of his body, in the blink of an eye, it propagated throughout his entire body. Afterwards, the scorching heat slowly faded away…. at once, even the surrounding space was suddenly no longer burning hot.

"Hmm, I'm feeling a bit comfortable now." Rihan nodded in satisfaction.

Ddraig the continued to lead Rihan deeper into the cave. Not long after, a huge den of rock came into view before their eyes. This where Ddraig sleeps and stays most of the time.

Jasmine who was inside the Sky Poison Pearl felt her blood trembled as if something is resonating with it. "Rihan, can you have that man leave this place for awhile?"

'What for?'

'Just do what I said!' Her voice is filled with great urgency.

Rihan felt like there's something wrong so he turned towards Ddraig and ask him to leave for awhile, Ddraig just followed the order and went out.

Jasmine came out from the space Although her feet were exposed, they weren't contaminated or even burned by the burning cave. Her feet were so tender and snow-white, that they would give anyone the impulse to touch and feel them with a single glance. Standing in front of Rihan her gaze stared far ahead, and her eyes lustered: "Do you know for what reason I was infected by this terrifying poison?"

"Nope, so tell me why you want Ddraig to leave the place?" Rihan without a change in his expression from ruining the atmosphere asked.

It's not that Rihan doesn't want to learn more, it's just that when he saw her eyes, he knew that it has something to do with her tragic past. It's much better seeing her get mad than seeing her sad look. He just doesn't like it's feeling.

Jasmine got mad for awhile but still calmed down after venting her anger, she coldly looked at Rihan and said: "The reason why I told you to let that man leave is because I need to pass on the promise I gave you when you accepted my requests."

"Why now?" Rihan tilted his head and asked.

"See it for yourself"

As she spoke, Jasmine's eye suddenly flashed and brightened, as she lowered her luminous snow-white wrist. Her delicate fingertips suddenly stimulated the blood of the "Evil God" to float adrift and pierce into Rihan's chest. The pit of Rihan's chest immediately split open to reveal a bloodstain, and the sinister scarlet blood droplet touched his overflowing blood, as if it were attracted. In a flash, it entered his body.

The moment the dark-red drop of blood entered his body, tens of bloodstain-like crimson lines wildly fanned throughout his body, originating from the blood print in his chest. The lines spread across his whole body in an instant. His chest, hands, legs, face, ears, and even pupils were now full of blood colored channels that looked like demonic markings.

Rihan gritted his teeth as the wave of pain emanated from a force digesting the insides of his body. He felt like a sharp-toothed creature eating him from the inside. Immense amount of unbearable pain sheeted through him terrible intensity. He can feel the pain from every single corner of his body, and made him let out a painful whine. His entire body started to tremble tremendously, red thin veins started to appear at his scelera.

His normal veins were continuously being devoured away, the feeling was like he was being pierced with countless swords pierced his body in and out.

Urgh!

Despite using all his willpower he still couldn't stop groaning a little from the pain.

As Jasmine forced the Evil God's blood into Rihan's body, her lips curled up, and revealed a very…. gleeful smile at his agony.

Recalling the memories she obtained from this drop of immortal blood, she knew it would start to forcefully devour the original Profound Vein the moment it entered the body…. And while devouring the Profound Veins, the process would be as if one's profound vein was being cut off.. minced… cut off… minced over and over again….. This was undoubtedly an inhumane torture, an ultimate kind of pain that would even make the world's strongest beings roll on the floor and shriek.

Did you think I would really just forgive you for all that you did? This blood of the Evil God would indeed grant you new Profound Veins, but it'll also grant you with the most brutal punishment in my stead!!

Jasmine cruelly smiled as she saw the red demonic marks all over his body; as she saw his eyes suddenly turned crimson; as she saw his whole body tremble; as she saw his face contorting in pain…. Slowly, her curled lips chilled down and disappeared, and what replaced it was a face that looked like she just saw something incomprehensible to her.

His entire body was trembling with intensity, his whole body contorted, but his facial features only showed a slight frown. On his forehead, bean sized beads of sweat slid down in a terrifying fast speed…. It was impossible to imagine how considerable the pain must be for the body to react in such a startling fashion.

However, aside from that first groan, Rihan didn't utter a single sound of pain afterwards; not even a single trace!

Jasmine couldn't believe it, even though she knew he was talented she didn't expect that his willpower would be this strong as well. Normal people would have already begged for a quick death or they would be rolling on the ground from pain yet this man...

And something even more ridiculous happened, instead of losing his cultivation, Jasmine can still feel his power not diminishing one bit.. then she remembered his words..

I'm half human and half Ayakashi, she looked at him as how normal humans look at a monster.

Time quickly flew..

At this time, the demonic marks all over Rihan's body suddenly twinkled with red luminescence. When his eyes opened, his red eyes slowly returned into it's original amber color.

Rihan felt something..

He turned around, and with his hands on his chest, he stared blankly at the empty rock den…. It's the same feeling as what Jasmine felt earlier. This is the reason why she decided to honor her promise now.
