A handsome young man appeared in her eyes, he has protuded long hair , top half of his hair was a goldish-white while the bottom half is black enhancing his uniqueness. Clad in red cloak along with a three-eyed, three-tailed wolf, a monster she had never seen or heard before was hanging around his shoulder.
Black ink-like markings could be seen around his eyes and in his hair making Xia Qingyue unable to avert her eyes, his golden eyes seems to be shining with light amidst the darkness like the moon.
This man's elegance along with his sharpnes was producing an attractiveness that would most likely be fatal to countless females.
Leaning his back at the front door with his hands on his chin, he smiled and ignored her question. Qingyue regain from shock and circulated her profound energy, coldness started to form but couldn't materialize because the man's figure dissappeared from where he stood. She couldn't sense him..
A jade-like white hands suddenly appeared behind her holding her chin, his breathing can be felt from her ears: "Just like the rumours said, a drop-dead beauty"
When she heard it her anger erupted. Circulating her powers, she grabbed the white hands touching her chin and slowly froze it.
Si! Si!
Hannya soaked his hands with "fear" preventing it from continuing. He smiled: "I thought you were frail girl but you're quite fierce."
He turned his back to Qingyue and made his way to the window.
"Who are you? What's your point of coming here?"
Hannya stopped and glanced at Qingyue: "I just want to confirm if the rumours are true."
He jumped out of the window, his robes fluterred and dissappeared.
"Nurarihyon, that's what everyone calls me, if fate allows it, let us meet again" His words rang in Qingyue's ear.
Xia Qingyue moved towards the door and gaze at the place where Nirarihyon's figure dissappeared.
"What a strange man" she muttered.
...
Xiao Clan Mountain Area, Reflection Gorge
Within the mountains situated north of the Xiao Clan, Karasu Tengu was observing the a tightly closed area.
The interior was dark and humid; it has narrow entrance, it was unlikely that an excessively violent Profound beast would intrude inside.

"So this is the Reflection George that Sōdaishō was talking about."
Su! Su!
Black smoke smoke rose from Karasu Tengu's body, his wings slowly spread open. He was about to move when he noticed some movements coming from the back, he looked towards the location where the movements came from.. spreading his legs, his right hand was on top of his sword handle; Battoujutsu stance. His eyes narrowed down into slits.
Slowly a figure of a young man appeared. 'Huff' 'Huff', Greed couldn't help but curse in his mind. This body is too weak, he was about to continue running when he noticed a silhoutte in front of him.
"You got 2 minutes to explain your intention of coming here. If I'm not satisfied only death awaits."
Yun Che turned his attention to the man or to be exact a demon crow in front of him. He said "Karasu Tengu." And tried to steady his breathing.
Karasu Tengu was stunned, his pressure loomed around the young man in front of him."Who sent you and why do you know me?" Because of his careful personality he didn't immediately assumed and asked.
"I'm here because... I was.. ordered by.. Nurarihyon-sama"
"Sōdaishō? I understand." When it was confirmed he retracted his "fear" and the atmosphere turned calm.
"What did Sōdaishō ordered?" With that Yun Che immediately told Karasu Tengu the situation. "I see. Then let's immediately save the two. I don't really understand why Sōdaishō wants to save those two but knowing him I'm sure he got a good reason. Let's go and stop dilly-dallying here." He grabbed Yun Che and spread his wings shooting to the sky living a fierce wind in his wake.
...
The outskirts of Floating Cloud City, in the corner of an abandoned house.
A young man around the age of fifteen was walking around the area while surveying his surrounding,
His pure black long hair that protrudes out the back of his head while the lower part of his hair was tied in pony tail, Wearing a kimono with green and black stripes and a white cloth draped over his shoulders and zōri yet despite his unique appearance it seems like everyone on the streets was ignoring him.

It was none other than Nura Rihan in his yokai form, he was extremely bored so he decided to slip away and tour around the city. He noticed a huge building which attracted his attention, he made a decision and decided to take a look at this place.
The lamps inside Xiao Clan lit the way.
Nura Rihan stepped through the gate of Xiao Clan and casually walked in a straight line, without the least bit of cautiousness in his posture. As the disciples of the Xiao Clan walked passed him, no one took a glance in his direction, with Nurarihyon's bloodline running through his veins, it's easy to move around unnoticed unless someone stronger than specifically search for him.
When he arrived at the Guest Hall, Rihan halted in his footsteps as he silently listened at two people talking in a secretive manner.
"Boss, if the Xia Clan hears about what we did to Xiao Lie and Xiao Lingxi what do you think would their reactions be?"
"Hmmph, what a stupid question, I'm sure they would not mind and we also have Xiao Kuangyun in our back so even if they interfere there won't be any results, he'll be coming tomorrow to select a disciple from our Xiao Clan back to the main house. haha"
"Hehe, with Xiao Che's death, I'm sure Xia Qingyue would accept if you try to woo her."
"Ofcourse, who would dare to refuse this Xiao Yulong?" With an arrogant tone he declared.
Rihan got bored at their conversation and was about to leave when he heard the name "Xiao Yulong". Touching his chin he observed this guy who is supposed to be someone that he needs to thrash around in front of many people.
A young man of medium build. He has a refreshing face and he seems to be around Nascent Profound Realm 3rd stage. Nura Rihan muttered: "Really I don't know why Oyaji would want me bully this person, sigh"
this weak guy may be weak but it seems like this 'Xiao Kuangyun' from the main family might be strong. What a coincidence it is since they would also give this Xiao Clan a 'visit'.
He turned around and dissappeared from the Xiao Clan Headquarters.
...
When Hannya arrived at the inn, no one was around so he thought that maybe Karasu Tengu brought Rihan with him, he went on top of the roof and took out his pipe.
He sat at the chair near the window, he took out his pipe and afterwards a rich oaky smell of the fire permeated the room, wisps of silver grey smoke curled and danced their way through the thick, hazy air.
After a few puffs, a figure opened the door and Nura Rihan's figure appeared, Hannya turned his head and was a bit surprised, the Rihan infront of him greatly resembled him, he seems a bit taller when he's in yokai form.
"Heh, it seems like you didn't come with Karasu Tengu. Where did you go?"
"I went to look around the city, By the way Oyaji, I encountered this Xiao Yulong guy earlier. The one you told Karasu Tengu about..I wasn't sleeping so I heard, hehe"
"You brat, eavesdropping is not a good act."
"Haha, it's the first time I heard a yokai talking about good acts."
Hannya was stunned, not just the figure but it seems like when in Yokai form his "son" acted diffirently.
"Hoh, you got some guts talking back, huh... Anyway I have something for you."
"Sorry, sorry.. What is it?" Rihan's closed one eye opened and shone with excitement.
Hannya asked the system to transfer Sky Poison Pearl to Rihan. With a wave of his hand a green light shot through with great speed to Rihan's left hand.
"This is?" Rihan looked at his dad with a confused expression.
"Go discover it yourself. It's something good, don't forget to thank me later. Oh before I forgot, go to the mountains behind Xiao Clan and help out Karasu Tengu." Hannya kicked out Rihan outside the room while leaving those words.

Delve
Summary – Level 1: Delve is an isekai litrpg that follows an average guy who just happened to wake up in a forest one day. He wasn’t summoned to defeat the demon lord or to save the world or anything like that, at least as far as he can tell. The only creature there to greet him was a regular old squirrel. Soon enough, he meets other people, only to discover that he can’t speak the language, and that not everybody immediately trusts random pajama-wearing strangers they met in the middle of the wilderness. Things generally go downhill from there, at least until the blue boxes start appearing. Delve is a story about finding your way in a new, strange, and dangerous world. It’s about avoiding death, figuring out what the heck is going on, and trying to make some friends along the way. It’s not about getting home, so much as finding a new one. Did I mention that there will be math? Summary – Level 2: Okay, but what are you in for, really? Well, this story is supposed to be realistic, or at least, as realistic as a fantasy litrpg can be. The main character doesn’t instantly become an all-powerful god and murder-hobo his way across the universe. Delve is, at its heart, a progression fantasy, but that progression is meant to feel earned. The numbers in this story actually mean something. Everything is calculated, and if you find a rounding error, I expect you to tell me about it. That said, if math isn’t your cup of tea, there is plenty more that the story has to offer. Characters are meant to feel real, and progression isn’t only about personal power; it’s also about allies, connections, and above all, knowledge. Figuring out how the system works is a significant theme. ... What, you want more details? Okay, fine, but this is going to get a bit spoiler-y. Are you sure? Yes! Really sure? I mean, this summary is practically half as long as the first chap– Now! Okay, okay! The main character becomes a magic user, but he takes a route that is not very popular in adventurer culture, namely that of a support. There is a full magic system with various spells, skills, and abilities, but our MC decides that aura magic is the way to go, and that the only stat worth investing in is mana regeneration. Most people at the Adventurer’s Guild think that this makes him a bit of a dumbass, but he’s playing the long game. We’ll see how that works out for him, won’t we? Because of his build, the MC levels up fast, at least compared to normal people. There are no cheats, though, and he is limited in other ways. There are some clear and pretty obvious downsides to his build. That’s what makes it fun, no? Morals? Our MC has them. Again, we’ll see how that works out for him. Realism, remember? Would you be okay with killing someone and looting their body? I sure hope not. POV? The focus is on the main character, but there will be occasional varying perspectives from people around him, or involved in the events related to the main plot. It isn’t going to jump all over the place. Tech is standard medieval stasis. No smartphones, but the MC does have a technical background. Computers and their programming might be involved. There might even be a bit of uplifting down the road, who knows? Anyway, it isn’t the focus. He isn’t going to invent the gun in chapter 1 and change the face of warfare. Romance is not a major focus. Friendships are more the name of the game, though there will be some characters in romantic relationships. There is exploration, though not as much of the geographical nature as you might expect. It is more about exploration of the system and the culture. The pace is slow and detailed, sometimes verging on slice-of-life. The action is meant to be realistic and grounded in the numbers, and it is intended to have meaning beyond simply punching things until they stop moving. The general tone of the story is grey, and some parts can get quite dark. People die. Sometimes, people with names, but not anywhere near GoT level. There is plenty of light, too, though, to balance the darkness. The world is dangerous, but overcoming that danger is why we’re all here, isn’t it? Anyway, if you’ve made it this far through the summary, you clearly like words. I hope you enjoy the story! Cover by Miha Brumec Summary Updated: 2020-06-14

The Card Thief of Culnivar
Deep with the cozy kingdom of Daeton, among the generation-old farmlands and villages, a young farmer’s daughter stumbles upon a dead man. His elaborate clothing has been torn to ribbons, yet his skin remains unblemished. His face is peaceful, and tucked into the hand lying across his chest can be seen a solitary playing card. He is a Ludum Haeres. The last remnant of a Summoner. Numbered among those few capable of changing their destinies. The unseen rulers of the world known as Vesperia, and one of the most powerful creatures in existence. The woman knows none of this. And so, she picks up the card... This is my third novel on Royal Road, the first being "Beyond the Horizon's Eye", and the second being "The Dawnfire Archives". This story is something of a test in a new genre, that of CardLIT. We'll see how well it succeeds as the story continues. It takes place in a different setting than my other tales, with an entirely new cast of characters. It does, however, contain several ties between the stories. Average post between 1000 - 3000 words.
