Book 2 Chapter 3: The Great Calamity - Kidnapped

Just as artemis was about to leave from in front of Anya’s house to Royal Road a loud bang was heard from inside the estate worried artemis rushes in to find that 5 or 6 smoke grenades went off unable to see anything she hears Anya calling for help sounding scared and confused

Anya: “W-w-what's going on?”

???[Spec Ops1]: “ARTEMIS we know you're out there, The president of the united states Broke Obama sent us here to get your master” [Author's note: Yes I did that to his name on purpose as a joke]

???[Spec Ops2]: “Well to be fair we are more of a proxy…. that bastard xix threatening our world all over you a fucking cat”

???[Spec Ops1]: “Enough chatter, Artemis we have mobilized and gathered all our forces to deal with you….. normally we wouldn't even talk like this but it seems XiX wants a show…. all our military might is ready to stop you if you can't get Anya back in 48 hours you will regret it because that's the deadline before we send her to XiX Meet us at the pentagon”

Out of nowhere a summon array appears under the spec team holding Anya

???[Spec Ops 3]: “I still don't know why we are on full alert you said it yourself she's just a cat”

As they chattered on casually the array activated and Anya’s presence in the room fades

Artemis: “I didn't want to do this but they forced me”

Artemis transforms into her human shaped dragon form so she can fly and heads towards North america

Meanwhile at the pentagon

----------

in the deepest bunker under the pentagon a bright flash fills the room when it finishes dissipating what was left was 5 men in full tactical wear and faces covered by masks 2 of them are holding onto a little girl….that girl was Anya

Anya: “Let me go!”

???[Spec Ops1]: “Quiet down brat”

Anya: “LET ME GO RIGHT NOW OR YOU WILL REGRET IT”

after stating her peace Anya kicks the nearest spec ops in the balls

???[Hurt Spec Ops1]: “Fucking brat”

as the hurt spec ops member was attempting to hit Anya with the but of his gun he gets punched by the team leader

???[Spec Ops Team Leader]: “Pull it the fuck together don't go hitting a little girl she serves no purpose if she's dead or hurt”

After saying that a man walks into the room

???: “so this is the owner XiX wanted us to capture?”

???[Spec ops Team Leader]: “Sir, Yes Sir! its good to finally meet you president Broke obama”

Anya is still attempting to struggle and can be seen occasionally biting the poor Spec Ops members

Broke Obama: “such a feisty little girl…. most people in your situation even as grown adults would cry at being helpless….. what makes you so confident?”

Anya: “you all do know you messed up right? Artemis will most likely kill you all”

Everyone in the room breaks out into laughter

Broke Obama: “AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA you think we are afraid of a mere house cat?”

Anya: “You should be”

Broke Obama: “Enough lock her up in a cell and get ready to intercept…. dont even know why XiX insisted on having our whole army ready….. a simple humane society member would be enough to catch a cat….”

Meanwhile above the ocean

----------

Artemis flies at high speed and will soon arrive at the continent she would of been there sooner but there was some ships that made her stop, it wasn't that they were a threat it's just she wanted to play battleship since they had a whole fleet set up for her to sink…. she even closed her eyes taking magical potshots while saying grid numbers….. it was amusing to say the least

???[Battleship captain: “Y-You sunk my battleship…..DAMN YOU”

shortly after the battleship sinks into the ocean

Back at the pentagon

----------

Information Officer: “Sir! we have received a strange report that some scaly white human figure was seen…. and i quote -shooting magic- at the battle fleet”

Broke Obama: “Bring me the girl!”

After a few mins Anya was dragged into the room in shackles she looks like she got hit a few times her face is black and blue and swelling

Broke Obama: “How the fuck did she get these injuries?!”

Guard: “Sir she tried to take a firearm from one of us so we had to-”

Broke obama cut the guard off mid sentence

Broke Obama: “ENOUGH….. anyway …..Anya…..was it?.....Whats that….Thing…. thats heading here”

After hearing Broke Obama’s description of the target Anya just smiles smugly

Anya: “Like I would tell a smarmy bastard like you anything….enjoy the short time you have left”

Broke Obama slams his fist into a table and orders her to get sent back to her cell he then orders a heavy defense line of anti air along the coast

Meanwhile at Artemis’s Location

----------

Artemis starts to laugh while staring at the coast seeing so many emplacements

HMG’s ,Morters, Big artillery , tanks, even some experimental Guass cannons, and railguns that aren't cleared for mass production there are also foot soldiers scattered everywhere each equipped with 50 cal’s some even having RPG’s and grenade launchers an APC can be seen with people going in and out of it assumably the temp command HQ or at least a relay station for one. off the coast a few heavy armed navy vessels can be seen with their massive cannons trained at her general direction

Meanwhile at Freya’s Dimension

----------

Freya: “T-this power signature could it be she's starting to ascend into godhood on her own? i-i didn't think it was possible …. no….wait she's not but she's really close to it! just what happened?!”

Freya starts to prep opening a gate to Artemis’s location but she's worn out from earlier so it will take a little time

Back at the coast

----------

Artemis commands the tiara to take scythe form and starts to “walk” on the air towards the shore seeing them open fire she smiles and laughs

Most of the rounds fired couldn't pierce her scales only the rounds from tanks and artillery as well as the ships were painful aka 100mm rounds or higher have SOME effect but negligible

It started to piss Artemis off so she started to cut the bigger rounds in half mid air with her scythe further scarring those on the shore after a few minutes of this they start to turn tail and run away scared for their lives

Artemis starts to near the pentagon and yells loudly for them to release Anya

Inside the Pentagon

----------

After getting reports on everything that happened outside Broke Obama looks pale as if he's seen a ghost

Broke Obama: “What the fuck is that thing…..that...that….monster”

Scared the president starts to bark out orders in an attempt to regain control

Broke Obama: “Bring the prisoner out ill contact XiX and have him come and use this as a play to gain more time, Also put -THAT- on Anya”

outside the pentagon

----------

Artemis notices 4 figures leave the building along with Anya to make a more dramatic effect so they don't think of using Anya as a hostage Artemis transforms into a full dragon and lands in front of them

Anya[Whose voice sounds a bit rough]: “Artemis I knew you would come for me* shortly after she starts to cough a few times

Artemis took a closer look at her and noticed shes black and blue and bruised all over the only reason she didn't snatch her up then and there is she noticed a strange necklace on her it seemed a bit thicker than it needed to be she figured they put it on her so it must be dangerous

Artemis: “Who was it that harmed you Anya”

Broke Obama: “They have been dealt with no need to concern yourself”

Artemis started to get ready to fire a breath attack at them not intending to fire at all just using it as intimidation

Broke Obama: “I wouldn't do that if i was you, I’m sure you noticed the necklace around your beloved master’s neck it's a Deadman’s switch every 10 minutes she needs a verification from me specifically. It’s not an explosive dont worry….. its a portable electrocution chair … we weren't sure if you could suppress an explosion so we didn't risk it”

Artemis: “Coward”

Broke Obama: “Can you blame me…. your a fucking dragon…… who can use magic…...MAGIC…..i'm just a human”

Artemis: “You should've thought of that before you pissed me off… I was planning to leave this realm in peace but then you attacked the only thing in this realm i care about”

as Artemis is talking her scales slowly gain more radiance patterns of gold start to appear on her

Artemis herself feels more powerful and starts to feel nostalgic unsure why she feels this way

Out of nowhere cracks starts to appear in the sky above them

XiX: “This is why I hate humans…. they have a hostage and still can't turn the situation around”

Artemis: “XiX Leave Anya alone…. your quarrel is with me and me alone”

XiX: “Fine I only had them kidnap her because I knew you are regaining your power….no to be exact you are ascending to godhood again on your own…. makes me fear what will happen if you manage to get your original power back as well you would be a risk to them and I can't risk that, however if i forced you to kill thousands of innocents during the ascension you would of been a dark god and that would of been a help to us however it seems i failed”
