“Even after reading it for a thousand of times, I just can’t stop admiring the hero of Aldieas! One day, one day…I want to be like him!” A man of mid-teens said as he closes the book namely The Salvation of Aldieas.
“Reed! What are you doing!? You’re going to be late for school!” A woman seemingly in her late thirties called out to the boy namely Reed.
“Uwah! It’s already that late?! Damn, I got absorbed reading again!” Reed jolted from his seat and rushes out from his room.
Hurriedly opening that door, Reed then jumps down from the stairs like a wild animal. He immediately wore his blaze in hand and picked up his bag while rushing to the kitchen.
“I’m going now, Mom!” Reed shouted.
“Yeah! You better be! It’s your first day in Estelle Harmonia Magic Academy, after all, Reed Chelle!” Reed’s mother told him while washing dishes with a faucet.
“Of course! As an outstanding student who grabbed the first place of the strongest Magus in the state competition last year, I should set a good example!” Reed said and dashed away like a whirlwind from the door.
“Up…Whirlwind Sprint!” Reed cast as soon as he steps on the paved road. His dash created a light breeze. The neighbors are already used to his wild behavior so they just shrugged.
Estelle Harmonia Magic Academy.
Located at Breth Continent where the sacred mountain that birthed magical Ley Lines. Due to the strong concentration of magical energy, it was the most prestigious Magical Academy around the globe as magical energy is easily refilled giving people to further pursue their interest regarding magic.
Kilometers away from the Sacred Mountains that said to reach the Celestial Planes, the city of Estelle can be found, the largest City where the center of magical research, trade, and even studies is commenced and concentrated.
Also comes with this Era is where magic is incorporated together with humanoid machines called Exturbo. With the rise in knowledge of magic, technology was also cultivated to the point that towering machines like the Exturbo have become part of the research.
The city of Estelle excels in commerce, technology, and magic making it the most centered City across the globe.
“Ah, amazing! Another Exturbo for patrol today! I heard there’s a dozen of them deployed right now!” Reed delightedly said as he stares at the towering ten-meters humanoid machine. The Exturbo carries a huge sword on its back and holds a compact gun in its hand. Its ashen color makes it seems stale but the design made it a little bit more daunting.
“This is an old model, probably a second generation! The third generations are cool but there’s a certain charm to the old models! One day, I’ll be piloting an Exturbo myself!” Reed muttered as he runs.

Exturbo is exclusive for Estelle Harmonia Magic Academy graduates, however, not until they passed a licensure exam. Piloting Exturbo requires a huge amount of magical energy and measuring the growth of individual’s magic node is also to be considered.
Magical Node is like a blood vessel that can be found align with the veins and arteries, however, instead of transporting blood, Magical Node carries magic all the around body. To develop a strong magical energy, the magical node should be strengthened like how one reinforce their body alongside the stamina.
Incidentally, Reed, the boy who possesses an ashen brown hair that grew past his ears and eyes clear as emerald is a hopeful boy who has talents. A hopeful boy who boasts in proficiency with magic and martial arts were even at such young age, has already joined a state competition last years, though that division was equally divided and his division aligns in Fourth Tier.
Magus are those who aspire to become strong through magic training, however, magus has their own division and rankings.
The lowest ranking is Fifth Tier and the highest is First Tier. The highest ranking Magus in Estelle city is no doubt, the Headmaster of the Estelle Harmonia Magic Academy who falls in the rank of Second Tier Third Degree.
The Degree within the tier has a ladder before proceeding to the next Tier. The lowest Degree is is First Degree while the highest is Tenth Degree where one can apply for a promotion.
Reed’s Tier is Fourth in Second Degree. The most powerful Magus to be known alive is a First Tier Tenth Degree Alpsis, a race that lives relatively longer than human. In hindsight, humans, however struggles, will not reach a tier and degree than their age dictates.
“Ah, here comes the champ! Hey, Reed!” A girl called out to Reed.
“Yo, Alisa!” Reed stopped right there and walks closer to the girl called Alisa.
“What did I told you about using magic when going to school?! You should be more mindful of your surrounding or you’ll blow stuff!” Alisa nagged while her fluffy fox ears and tails perk up.
Alisa is a friend of Reed that he met last year. She is a race from Vaster and the proofs are the beastly traits such as ears and tails.
Alisa stands below Reed’s nose level. She dons a pale golden hair with her ears and tails matching the colors. Her eyes are deep crimson and there’s a slit in her irises.
“Sorry! Well, if I hadn’t rushed out today, I wouldn’t have seen one of those Exturbo today, an old model one to boot!~ Old models are rare these days!” Reed said with vigor.

“Yes, yes, you Exturbo freak. Let’s go now.” Alisa beckons Reed.
Alisa and Reed walk side by side while creating small talks, mainly about Reed blabbering about the Hero of Aldieas and how cool the Exturbo are.
However, at that moment, a blaring siren alarmed them.
“Wha--?! This is, isn’t this the first time in my life that this siren blared like that?!” Reed exclaimed with excitement.
“Stupid! That’s a siren indicating danger! What if that indicates a Behemoth Class Beast?! We should run now!” Alisa tried to grab Reed’s hand, however, she catches nothing but the wind.
“If that’s the case, I want to take a look!” Reed said as he runs off.
“Geez! Come back here!” Alisa runs after Reed.
Going back in time, spanning towards the girl who fell from the sky before the alarm blared off.
………
…...
…
“Whoa…this is amazing!” The girl said as she excitedly runs around.
As she entered the city, the gate guard snaps a look at her and tried to stop her, however, at that moment, the girl leaped with monstrous strength.
What the guard remember about the girl is she is wearing a really old-fashioned traditional clothes that seems too long for her and speaking of long, her extremely long hair that drags in the ground. But what’s burnt on the guard’s mind is that the girl of young age exudes unworldly beauty.
“What is all of this?! Ah, what are those blinking things with people inside?!” The girl exclaimed as she saw a huge television for commercial use.
She immediately jumps towards the huge television, however, as soon as she got closer to it.
BOOM!
The television exploded. Not only the huge television, but every technology that would come to a certain range to her will explode, as long as they are run by magical energy. In hindsight, she has already destroyed a lot of magic-based technologies.
“There’s a lot of fireworks! Are they welcoming me? No, no, no! No one should recognize me, but…ah…this is a beautiful city! I’ve never seen things like this before!” She said as she frolics. “Ah, there it is, more of those moving box things!” She once again exclaimed as she saw the cars.
She delightfully jumps towards the crossroad of traffic.
Her long black hair flutters along the wind and her clothes made an elegant fall that took every onlooker’s breath away.
“Ah, what a pretty girl! It’s like she came from another world!” One onlooker muttered.
“Say, that girl is a real beauty dude!”
“Too young for me but…oh my…with that thighs, I won’t even bother about her age.” A hooligan said.
BEEP
An oncoming car didn’t notice the existence of the girl walking curiously. It was too late to stop before he learned the existence of the girl.
“Look out!!”
“The little girl will be…!”
At that moment, the girl notices that a car coming towards her way.
“Uwah! I wonder what it will do?” She stood there, unknowing of the circumstances that she is in.
BAM!
Contrary to everyone’s expectation…
The girl there, instead of flying from the impact, blocked that car with her barehand that created a huge fold in the car’s nose.
“Oh my, how fragile…” The girl said in disappointment. Being a little unaware of the gazes, the girl once again jumped as soon as her eyes laid upon a new curious thing…an Exturbo.
“WHAT IS THAT?! AMAZING! IT’S HUGE AND ALL METAL!” She happily said with twinkling eyes of excitement.
She landed in front of the Exturbo in which the pilot of the machine noticed that existence of the little girl.
“A little girl? The way you dress is weird. Are you lost or something? Did you come from a far away country?” A voice comes inside the Exturbo. The ten-meters machine looks down on the girl.
“Amazing! That thing! What do you call it?! Is it strong?!” The girl barrages questions.
“Ahahaha! Must be a tourist if you think a second generation is strong. Well, it is strong compared to primitive machines outside of Estelle.” A calm voice answered the girl.
“Oooooh! If that thing and I clashes, who would win? Can it even endure my magic?!” the girl curiously asked.
“Ahahaha! Aren’t you a feisty one? Hmm…what’s this…? A strong magical reading…?” Suddenly, the pilot noticed something unfamiliar.
“Well then, let’s try it!” The girl exclaimed with a smile.
“Agni!” The girl shouted.
In an instant, below the girl, a blaze of inferno charred everything around her. Fortunately, around them is an uninhabited lot.
“This girl!!” The pilot panics as he tried to step back.
The ground began to crumbles and little by little, magma rises from her place as her fire becomes even more intense. A huge torrent of hellish blaze immediately rises to the sky and dyed it with crimson fiery sky.
“Emergency! A demon lord appeared!” The pilot shouted at his comm.
Then, the alarm blared.

8 116The Hunt
Cecily's blade swung, hitting its mark as always. The man's arm fell to the cold grass of the prison with a familiar thud. He let out a blood curdling scream. A warning to the rest. Stay away, the Hunter is here. That's the name they'd given her, the Hunter. After she cut off the man who tried to rape hers masculinity, they stayed away. She'd made it clear anyone who tried to touch her would be hunted and slaughtered. Cecily kneeled down, pushing the man's face into the dirt so she could use his back as a seat while she trifled through his belongings. "You're hurting my ears," she told him, no remorse in her voice. "Quiet down before I really do kill you."The man but his lip, well aware that she wasn't lying. Sobs shook him, making for an uncomfortable seat. She, however, didn't particularly feel the beed to kill him. It happened, not often, but it did. "Oh, hush up," she hissed, taking out a bag of rations with her metal hand, "it doesn't hurt that bad."With her good, human hand, she dropped the plastic bag of food into her own bag. She pushed up, off the man back. As she was about to walk away, bag slung over her shoulder, brushing against her autumn colored braid, she turned back to him. "Consider yourself lucky," she said, no hatred in her voice, there never was. "Consider yourself lucky that you didn't do anything stupid. And even luckier if one of the scum bagged criminals in here feel a little light in their hearts and help you. Consider yourself luckier if you die there."With that, her old black and white Nike sneakers carried her off into the brush of the huge prison.
