《Lord of the Red Castle》Chapter 1 -What’s wrong with my son?

“Why, father?”
"What do you mean?"
“Why do we have to serve a king? Our region is one of the wealthiest parts of the kingdom and is surrounded by mountains.” The 12-13 year old boy continued to speak, pointing to a point on the map with his hand.
"We just have to defend this place, we can protect it by building a wall"
Duke Albert listened to his Son's question with a grin on his face. When his son had finished speaking, he gave him a good look.
“Son, if you thought about it, didn't the King think? Do you know where the headquarters of the greatest armies of your kingdom is?”
When his son didn't answer, he continued speaking, pointing to the place right next to the passage.
“The old king… Before the old fox died, he thought of our possibility of betrayal and had a headquarters set up right next to the pass. If they see that a building is being built, an army of 100,000 will attack us without even having time to prepare. Doran remember this well, it is not enough to think one step ahead in politics, you need to think at least 3 steps ahead. Otherwise, you will lose not only your head, but also everything our family has worked for generations.”
After his father's words, Doran lowered his head and began to think.
Doran looked up as Lord Alberth wondered if I was being too harsh.
“Thanks dad. I guess I was a little hasty. “
“No, you made very good deductions, and you spoke by thinking about the family and our lands. Well done. But don't talk about these issues with anyone else, don't trust anyone easily.”
"Don't worry, Dad, I'm not stupid."
“Okay okay, now go to the training ground. Edward is waiting for you, your sword training begins today.”

Lord Albert watched his son leave the room. When his son left the room, he came to the window in the room and started to watch the training ground.
After his son Doran recovered from the disease, he had become a completely different person. He had a sharper mind. Having been just a boy chasing after the servants in the castle, he was now starting to ask a lot of questions about how the land was ruled and the kingdom.
While he was thinking these things, the door opened and the castle wizard entered.
"Did you check?"
“Yes, my lord, he's got nothing, and he doesn't look like he's under a spell. Are you sure there is something strange?"
“Okay you can withdraw”
The wizard's words made Lord Albert think even more. He was sure something was different. But there was nothing in sight. After writing this issue in a corner in his mind, he sat down at his desk. And he looked at the parchment in front of him. This scroll arrived at the castle today. And it contained good news.
—-----------
It has been a month since Doran came to this world. When he first arrived, he couldn't believe his eyes. He had entered the body of a 12-year-old boy, and it was as if their memories had fused. He had learned very important information from Doran's memory in this world where they shared the same name. For example, as it is no longer in the same world.
The memory fusion period was a disaster. It was as if he was losing his own self. Even now, he was skeptical about some issues. But because of the age difference, it seemed like his own self had won.
Doran lost his parents in his old world, when he was the same age as Doran in this world. When he lost his parents at a young age, he started to stay in his relatives' houses at first. But in time, seeing that all his relatives were trying to get rid of him, he decided to go to the child welfare institution. This trauma created a constant hunger for love and a problem of trust in those around him.

The orphanage years were quite comfortable for Doran. With the help of his photographic memory, he had no difficulty in his lessons. After graduating from high school, he started to study law at one of the best universities in the country.
While he was going to finish school with a good grade, he found himself in this world after drinking too much alcohol and going to sleep the day before graduation
.Part of him still thought it might be a dream. Although he came across such stories in his internet novels, which he read in his spare time, he could never imagine that it would happen to him.
He had come to the training ground, lost in thought.
"If you're ready, let's begin, young master," said Edward.
Hearing Edward's voice, he came to his senses and looked at the man standing in front of him and spoke.
"Sure, Captain Edward I'm ready."
Edward was the commander in chief of the castle guards. In fact, there was no one in the duchy lands who could wield a better sword than him. It was a privilege to receive private sword training from him.
Edward threw the wooden sword at Doran and came up to him.
“Things to be careful when using a sword…”
Edward began teaching Doran the basics of swordsmanship. After making sure he understood this information, he showed the stances and attacks.
Doran was sweaty after 2 hours of training.
“That's enough for today, we'll continue tomorrow,” Edward said, seeing young Dora sweating.
After Doran nodded, he left the training ground and went to his room. When he entered, he saw his maid marry. Marry was a 19-20 year old red-haired girl.
“Marry, can you get the bathroom ready?”
Seeing her young master's sweaty state, Marry bowed and went to carry out the order. The bathroom in this world was better than nothing, even if it was a barrel filled with hot water.
Marry came from the kitchen with a large bucket of hot water. She poured hot water into the tub. The other servants who came with her also adjusted the temperature with cold water.
The maids who had come with Marry left the room. All that remained was to marry.
"We've talked about this before Marry, I can wash myself, please leave."
Marry obeyed her young master's command and started walking towards the door of the room. She had a slightly sad expression on her face.
Doran began to think as he entered the hot water. he was considering clarifying the truth to his mom and dad.At least he thought they had a right to know. After this memory merger had happened, he saw them as his own parents.

Living in Paradise
The first thing I saw when I woke up was a group of people standing over me shouting "Happy Birthday!!!". Immediately after they start debating what type of world I came from and calling me 'William'. Later on I would learn that everyone here is reborn from another world and many children come with magic or superpowers or other gifts leftover from their old lives. I came from a world that was, to me, typical modernity. To them it was pretty boaring with the only thing interesting about my world being was a higher than average tech level for a non-spacefaring civilization; technology that wouldn't even work in this new world. All I brought with me was a peculiar mindset and the strong suspicion that there must be something more to life. Once everyone started to clear out my mother took me up in her arms, explained how the world works, and then stabbed me in the neck with a knife. I got better. -------------------- This story was written from the central idea of a simple question: What if a videogame like world, with all the normal video-game staples and tropes, was actually a real world? How would that work? How would people understand the universe around them? What sort of weirdness would the world appear to have from the point of view of someone who recognizes the odd nature of the place? And finally, if left to its own devices, how would this type of world ultimately develop?
