《The Adventures of Tommy Johnny: Stuck In the Void》Chapter 4

Tommy Johnny is fiddling with his chicken bone in the void. Tommy was in the void for at least two and a half days as he just drifted.
He was hungry and thirsty and slowly going insane as the Watchers just stared at him.
Tommy felt a shiver on the back of his neck and felt a tremor cover his body.
Tommy looked out into the distance of the void and saw a large amount of objects slowly drifting towards him.
Tommy was surprised to see that the Watchers have sent him some new things. The amount of objects were staggering as he looked and saw a small gray trunk with stuff spilling out of it.
Tommy accidentally flailed his arms and flung the chicken bone away while trying to get a good position to grab for things.
Tommy saw a table set close in on him and Tommy decided to duck and avoid the table set as it kept drifting past him into the void. Tommy grabbed the trunk and hurridely closed it to prevent things from floating out of it.
Tommy began grabbing various cans of food and water and stuffed them into his pants.
Tommy saw a mircowave heading towards his stomach and he jerked to the side to avoid the injury. The jerking of his body allowed him to grab a bit more food with his spare hand. His other hand was holding onto the trunk.
Tommy watched wistfully as the other stuff went spiralling into the void with no way to catch it.
As Tommy righted himself, he put the spare cans into the trunk and looked toward where the stuff came from.
In the distance he could see a letter come towards him. He reached out and grabbed the letter with one hand.
The name on the letter was Dunno1234 which was a strange name for a Watcher.

'That is certainly a strange name from my benefactor but thanks I guess'
Tommy put away the letter by putting it inside his shirt as he had no more space.
Tommy also saw one more thing come towards him with a lot more speed than necessary. It was a thick looking book.
His eyes widened as the book hit him in the chest to knock his breath out. Unfortunatly the book rebounded and Tommy was unable to grab the book before it drifted out of reach. He breathed through his hurt chest as he massaged his sore stomach.
He managed to use his shoelaces to tie the trunk to his pants so he does not lose his supply of food and water.
With the food and water situation dealt with, he cast a regretful glance as he watched the other items drift of into the void to never be seen again (probably).
He took out the letter from Dunno1234 and opened it to find some notes of positve reinforcement.
'You better hope that your god will have mercy on you, Good luck, you are going to need it, Hope you last longer than others, you better not end up like him, -Dunno1234
Tommy was grateful for the notes but was unnerved about the others and him.
Tommy was scared that there have been other people like him stuck in the void. For now he put those things to the back of his mind and set himself up on managing his food and water to survive in the void.
He would have some enjoyment now that he has stuff to do with the items he has now.
Tommy looked inside the trunk to find some batteries to which he assumed were for the microwave and the stove. Too bad they were off in void far away for him.

'Well shit, I would have liked a can opener for the food, but I can try with the knife I managed to grab.'
"Shut Up Narrator you have not been introduced yet, it is still WAY to early for you"
"But Author you said I could say something-"
"NO YOU CANNOT EXIST FOR TOMMY YET, momentum has not been built up yet. Wait for a while, maybe I will let you do something. The Watchers will get angry and cut up Tommy's life like a bad Twitter post and ruin the person's life forever. Just wait for at least a 10 or so chapters than maybe MAYBE you can come out."
"Ok Author I will wait until then."

Cutting to Life: an NPC LitRPG (Battle Royale)
Nikola is an NPC in The World of Wills, a video game where players can feel sensations as if they were truly there. She leads a life of bloodshed and murder - that is, until one day she wakes up sapient. Just as she begins thinking real, non-scripted thoughts and making connections, she and the players in the game are told that if they die in the game, they die in real life - and it's time to get killing. But what of Nikola, the emerging AI consciousness? How does she win in a game that can only end in her being wiped from existence at the end of it all? - Updates Mondays and Fridays. Cutting to Life is a slow-burn LitRPG with a villainous (later anti-hero, or maybe still villainous, haha) female lead. It's told from the perspective of Nikola, an NPC within the World of Wills who's become sapient and is now mysteriously able to play the game as a PC. It's quite light for a LitRPG, but the system and stats become more of a focus later when Nikola herself can access them. The story gradually builds into a Battle Royale where the players' lives are on the line (if you die in the game, you die in real life), and only one party of savvy adventurers can win. They'll have to spend their time and stats wisely as dungeons promising rare gear float down from the sky - but is a legendary sword worth killing someone for, knowing they'll stay dead forever? - This story is told in third person, past tense.- This is a slow-burn LitRPG that spends a lot of time establishing its setting and characters, because I believe this will make for a better payoff in the end. As such, the Battle Royale doesn't start until chapter 30 or so.- Chapters are anywhere between 800 words and 3000 words long.- Book cover by Vixeona.Cutting to Life is also being posted on SPB and Scribble Hub.Thank you sincerely for reading.
