Dan knew that in order to fight something that strong they had to use all their power, they couldn't hold back at all, so they had to fight it before it reaches the clearance before the village and in a place where the villagers won't be able to see them.
As soon as Dan landed he heard the sound of something hitting the ground behind him, throwing a fast glance behind him, he saw Katherine just a few steps behind him, he wasn't actually that surprised seeing how she was turning to a fighting freak.
Seeing Dan jump from the top of the wall and Katherine close behind him, Mad Dog turned to Brandon and ordered:
"We're going down." Before he too jumped and started running as fast as possible.
Brandon didn't hesitate and followed him too, the remaining people looked at each other before they all jumped one by one.
Dan ran as fast as he could and as soon as they passed the clearance and entered the forest and were hidden from the eyes of the villagers he slowed down in order for the others to reach him, with something like a legendary beast individual strength didn't mean much.
When all the others reached him he turned to Robin and ordered with a serious face:
"You teleport to where Leonard and Thomas are, tell Leonard to keep Thomas safe and to be ready because you might need to go and get him to help us if things turn really bad."
Robin just nodded and disappeared from in front of them, seeing that Dan turned to the others and added:
"The monster we are going to fight is probably a Legendary Beast of this Area, the so called Legendary Beasts are strong insects which are at the top of the food chain, the fight ahead is going got be hard but we cam deal with it, we killed the Dragon while we were weaker, we can totally deal with this."

He said that to lift their fighting spirit and to make them calm down, and from their expressions he felt that he did well.
"Nero, any idea what the legendary beast might be?" He turned his head to Nero.
"It has a similar smell to the spider we fought earlier, but it's different." Nero answered immediately as if he was waiting for Dan's question, it seemed that if Dan didn't ask him he was going to say that on his own.
Dan's face changed after hearing Nero answer, in that Area spider type monsters were some of the hardest monsters to deal with, especially if they were on the realm of a Legendary Beast.
He organised his thoughts before saying:
"If what we are going to fight is a spider type Legendary Beast we might be in a bit of a problem, but nothing we can't deal with,it just that there are a few things to be mindful of.
"Spiders have a lot of offensive methods, the most obvious are poison and their thread, their threads are adhesive and are quite hard to deal with, but that is not always the case, sometimes their threads can be poisonous or be as strong as steel and as sharp as knifes, so before we know which type it is, we need to be extra careful about that.
"Another things we need to be really careful about is if the spider have some area of effect attacks, those are rare but if the spider have them it will be a hard fight, the area of effect attacks come in many different forms, it can be a poisonous fog, poison or acid spray, or even rubbing its body to release tiny hairs that can bs both painful and poisonous.
"The worst thing we can meet is a Legendary Beast which has a supernatural ability..." Once he said that Dan felt the same feeling as the one he had when he first set foot in the Area and took a deep breath of the fresh air, it was as if deep in his mind, something was trying to make itself known for him, yet there was some resistance which stopped it.

He also remembered when he felt something similar, it was when he remembered the Body Tempering Technique while he was having his first Blood Bath, the different was that back than the trigger of the memory was strong enough for him to remember the Body Tempering Technique, while now it was small and not enough, giving him this weird uncomfortable feeling of have something stock at the back of his mind.
This also made him understand that in this Area something was resonating with a memory of an Area in his mind which they didn't go to yet.
It was as if the memory only needed a small trigger before the resistance disappear and he remembers it, yet that small trigger wasn't something he was able to do himself, it was something around him, something which hadn't reached a certain stronghold yet.
Even though having that feeling stock at the back of his mind was annoying he had to leave that problem for later and deal with what was in front of him, dealing with the Legendary Beast.
"... As I was saying the hardest thing will be if the Legendary Beast has a supernatural ability, they can be anything from invisibility to small range teleportation to hallucination and many others, they are usually not that strong, I mean not as strong as the abilities from Nero and the others' Area, but they can be hard to defend against and annoying to deal with, so we need to be extra careful and never let our guard down.
"And that lead me to the last thing you need to be careful about, the Legendary Beast don't just have their abilities and supernatural powers they are also way too strong in their physical powers and reflexes, they are strong, fast, and usually have quite a strong defence so we better be careful and, and I can't stress this enough, never let your guard down."
Dan didn't have a lot of time to say all what he wanted to say, and he had to stop his explanation there as they were just a few seconds away from meeting the Legendary Beast.
Before that happened, however, they saw a sticky beetle sized creature which looked like a cockroach, but with a few blue stripe on its dark brown shell, heading toward them in an astonishing speed.
"A Striped Cockroach, that's what led it here." Dan shouted after he saw that.
Striped Cockroaches were a specie known as one of the fastest creatures in Area 10, they were some of the best mounts in the Area, yet catching them was hard and taming them was even harder.
When he saw it Dan somehow understood what most have happened, probably while the legendary beast was rampaging, this Striped Cockroach caught its attention, and by some struck of luck it was able to survive and run, the Legendary Beast than gave chase in order to finish it.
Yet non of that mattered now becauae just as he saw the Striped Cockroach, he saw a few trees behind it fall as a gigantic shape was just behind it.
