"Dan it's hard, and it seems as if this isn't even the worst it can get, is staying here really the best course of action? Having to fight every night against those monsters isn't any less dangerous than staying in the last Area with the dragons." After they rested for a while, Katherine looked around to make sure that the village Chief wasn't there before saying to Dan.
The others also had similar ideas, even though everyone on top of Barbarossa was a blood power user, living a life where they had to fight every night wasn't something any of them was looking forward too.
Dan looked at them and understood what they were thinking, he also had those thoughts while they were fighting, the situation in the village was way worst than he, and anyone in the group had thought, and if things kept on getting worst than they would really be in a bad position.
"I understand that, but I think that things won't go on like this for long, the insects in the center of the forest will get used to the new timing eventually and this won't be a problem anymore, we only have to hold on for a bit more that's all, and I think we don't need to handle this for long, probably the strong insects will get used to the new day and night cycle soon, and when that happens we will be good." Dan said after thinking for a while.
"But Alexander said that the insects which keep appearing are getting stronger and stronger, it doesn't seem as if it's going to end soon." Nero commented.
"Yes but you should know that the strong monsters he talked about, and are appearing right now, are the ones which live in the deepest reach of the forest, which mean that they had a long way to come here, so of course it would get harder at the later days." Dan answered him.

It was close to the fourth hour than which meant that the other three teams were returning soon, and they would start going down two teams at a time, making it somehow easier and safer.
As expected it was really harder than the previous hours, but with them going down two teams at a time they were able to hold on.
Dan's team helped a lot with Nero's sensing and their overall power.
One of the most dangerous moments was when, while they were dealing with a gigantic spider, a swarm of Red Mosquitoes attacked.
The Red Mosquitoes were dangerous not only because they were able to fly, but also because there was time when they appear on swarms and the fact that they could bypass the walls and the people protecting them, that with their ability to suck a human of his r her blood made them really horrible to deal with.
Fortunately, it seemed as if the people inside had already delt with something like that before so they didn't suffer much and were able to hold on for a bit before the teams on the walls went and helped them.
It was a long night, but as time passed, they were able to notice that the insects were getting less abd less, which made them happy as it meant that things were only going to get better from than on, and that that horrible night was finally going to end.
But things didn't go as they expected...
Dan and the others were restung on top of the wall while keeping an eye on things down below، just as Dan threw a spear to hit a beetle which was going to attack a busy fighter, Nero, who was resting, turned to him and said:
"Something is heading our way, almost as big as a sticky beetle, dont seem dangerous but it's way faster than anything which appeared till now." He didn't seem in a hurry to say that, actually the only thing which even made him tell Dan about it was its speed, everything else about it didn't seem that bad.

Just as Dan was about to tell the the others about that he saw Nero stand up in a hurry with a horrified look on his face before shouting:
"Something big is coming." He than calmed down a bit, looked at Dan and added:
"It's big, probably six meters high, it also fast, keeping up with the first insect, and... It's almost giving me the same oppressive feeling as the one I got from the injured dragon."
Hearing the last of what he said, Dan's face hardened for a second before he turned to Alexander who, along with the village chief and some other hunters who were next to them were looking at him awaiting his words.
By that time, everyone there knew that somehow Nero was able to know when strong insects were going to appear, but no matter what dangerous and strong insects appeared, he never acted like that, so all of them got nervous.
Dan looked at Alexander and explained in a solemn but fast voice:
"Probably a legendary beast is coming."
As soon as Alexander and the village chief heard what Dan said, their faces turned pale.
They thought that they only needed to hold on for a bit more to survive this long night, but who would have thought that just as they were going to relax and sight in relief, a legendary beast would come?
The village chief returned to his senses fast and wanted to ask Dan if he was sure, but he didn't have time as Dan turned to Katherine and the others as he shouted:
"Everyone get ready, we are meeting it before it reaches the village."
The others heard what Nero said and they had different reactions, especially about the part when Nero said it gave him the same oppressive feeling as the injured dragon.
Dan looked at some of the blood power users who had different expression on their faces and said:
"You have the right to stay." He didn't say more as they didn't have time for chit-chatting, he than turned to Alexander and added in Russian: "you stay here, you're not its match."
After he finished his words he held his axe and jumped from the wall without waiting for anyone to say anything.
