"Well Dan you really didn't lie, this place is truly like nothing we have ever seen." Nero said as he took a deep breath, and then added:

"And don't worry, even though this is my first time smelling most of the scents in this Area I can still differ between one released by a creature and a normal ones so we are still safe, shall we move?" At the end of his words he looked at Dan awaiting his answer.

Dan nodded and said after looking at the other two:

"Ok lets go " after that he turned around and waved his hands to everyone on the ship

.

They entered the forest with gigantic trees and their hearts were beating furiously, it was such an exciting feeling they had.

Nero was at the back of the group while Katherine was next to him, Dan and Robin were moving in the front as Dan was keeping an eye at everything which might seem familiar.

The atmosphere at the forest was quite fascinating, it was quite but from time to time they would hear the chirping of a bird or some weird sound that seemed as if it belonged to some weird beast or something.

"Try not to touch a lot of things, the forest here can have a lot of poisonous plants and even some insects would try to camouflage as plants to hide, so be extra careful."

The other all nodded when they heard what he said, they understood that he was the one with the most knowledge about that Area among all of them, so they did their best to listen to what he said and they became even more careful in their movments.

Dan kept on looking around him while they were walking, his behavior caught Nero's interest as he felt that Dan wasn't worried or afraid about what was around them instead he seemed as if he was searching for something.

"What are you searching for?" After a few minutes passed and he saw that Dan was still acting as if he was searching for something he finally couldn't take it and got closer to him and whispered.

"I'm searching for a few things, one of them is a type of plant, it's supposed to be everywhere in this Area and it has a great use for us, while the other thing is signs, don't ask more I'll tell you if I find any." Dan answered him while still looking around them.

Nero nodded his head, he knew that Dan never did anything without a plan in mind, so he just returned to keep watch over what was around them and to see if there was any danger.

They moved for around an hour or so before Dan finally said:

"Everyone stop, I found something."

The others all stopped and turned their heads toward him wandering what he found, Dan nodded his head to them as he moved toward a small plant.

Actually it wasn't that small, as it was as big as him, but when compared to what was around them it can be considered short, it was green all over and had blue fruits on it.

The others wandered what he found interesting in that small plant but they didn't say anything as they understood that he knew what to do.

Dan stood in front of that plant and picked the blue fruits which were on its branches, he picked all of them making sure that he didn't leave even one behind before turning around to them and saying:

"This small little plant is known as Invisible tree, that's because for some reason no animal or insects can feel or smell it, and because of that the people in this Area learned to pick its fruits and cover themselves with its juice, of course that wouldn't make them invisible, but it would at the very least make getting caught by the insects very hard, it is one of the essential things that the residence of this Area have to learn since a young age."

Hearing Dan's explanation, the others all showed understanding expressions on their faces as they knew that that was what he had been searching for since the beginning.

Dan then took one of the blue fruits and examined it carefully, it was quite small not bigger then a marble and it surface was blue and shining giving it quite a beautiful appearance.

After looking at the fruit and the plant that he picked it from and making sure that he didn't make any mistakes and that it was really the one he was searching for, he crushed a few of those small blue fruits in his hand and started covering himself with their juice.

After he finished what he was doing he turned his head to Nero and asked:

"So, how's my small right now?"

Nero had a surprised expression on his face as he said:

"It is just as you said, your small us bit fainter, and it seem as if you become a part of what's around you, it really is fascinating."

After he finished speaking he took a bunch of those blue fruits from Dan crushed them and then he too covered himself with their juice, he understood that it was a great thing to use for their protection while they were still new to the environment around them.

Hearing what Nero said and seeing him and Dan cover themselves with that juice Robin and Katherine also took a bunch if the blue fruits and covered themselves.

"Ok, now this will making surviving a little bit easier, so lets go, and remember if you see anything like this plant lets stop and take as much as we can of its fruits, after all we will need a lot more then this if we want to bring everyone through this dangerous forest." Dan said.

They then started walking, their main object was to try and find some humans and try to make contact with them, and also to understand how the place around them was, after all they would have to land eventually, and if they found that this location was hard for them to handle they would simply got on Barbarossa and sail to another location, one which can be safer and better then this one.

They walked for another hour without meeting anything dangerous, they were all blood power users so even though they had walked such a long distance and they were carrying a lot of things with them they didn't got that tired at all.

"Dan we didn't actually meet anything dangerous at all, I think that this Area isn't as dangerous as you made it to be, or at least the location that we landed on is way safer then the other locations in this Area." finally Nero said this.

They had walked for such a long period yet they didn't find anything that was even remotely dangerous, all what he felt was just a few small life forms which were at most as big as a big dog, so he started thinking that probably Dan was just exaggerating so that they would be more careful and no accidents would happen.

Hearing what he said Dan just shook his head as he answered:

"You are wrong, you should first think about the size of this forest, if you do that you will know that by taking its size into consideration, where we are right now can only be considered the outer layer of the forest, so we will be safe for a while longer, because for forests like this one, the further you move inside the harder and more dangerous would the place become, so I would advise you to be careful. If I'm not mistaken ever since a few minutes ago, the number of living things that your ability was able to detect is getting more and more, right?"

"Well, it does seem as if in the border of my ability I can pick some bigger life forms and they seem more then what we saw so far, but they are still small there's no danger from them at all." Nero said.

"Nero you should know that this place isn't like your home there are a lot of things that you don't know, in this place size doesn't always determine power, there are a lot of insects here that uses poison lurking or some other tactic to take care of bigger targets so never be over confidant, after all there are a lot of pinky sized insects here that can kill us." Dan answered him seriously.

"So from now on no matter what it is that you feel I wish that you would take it seriously and tell me about it." he added as he looked at Nero's eyes with a serious expression on his face.

"Ok I understand, I will make sure that nothing will happen." Nero answered.

"Ok that's better, now let's rest a little we have been walking for a while lets stop and eat something." Dan said with a smile.

Then he brought out some of the fruits and harps that he had been collecting and said:

"Believe me those taste really good, you will like them for sure, especially after not eating anything like them for such a long time."

Because of the long journey all the vegetables and fruits on the ship were eaten, and even those that they ate weren't really tasty, instead they were just some wild plants which were hardly edible, not like the sweet looking fruits that Dan picked on their journey.

Nero and the others all set down happily and started eating and resting, even though they weren't that tired trying to stay alert for more then three hours was quite hard so they needed that small amount of rest.

After they rested well and just as they were getting up Nero said with a serious expression on his face:

"There's a group of humans which have just entered the range of my ability."

His words made everyone there excited, after such a long time of walking they finally found humans which meant that they would finally be able to settle down if things went well, after all even with Dan's and the other two's memories about this Area, staying in it would be hard, but with the help of some natives they wouldn't suffer the same amount of trouble as how they would if it was just them.

Nero felt that someone has entered the range of his ability and from their scent he was able to understand that they were really humans making him quite happy,

but then he took a deep breath and said with a frown:

"One or more of them are bleeding as there is the smell of blood on many of them, I wasn't able to notice it at first because they are on the border of my ability and they too are using the same thing as the blue fruits that we used to hide their scent, so what should we do."

"We should meet them of course, anyway they are still as far as ten kms, lets get closer to them and see what to do when we finally meet them so don't worry we still have enough time." Dan said while getting up.

The others also nodded it was just as he said they still had time to think and talk about what to do whole they got closer to them so they weren't in a hurry.

They started moving with Nero talking the lead, he was walking while talking about the group of humans which they were following:

"There are ten members, all of them are men, three of then have blood on them, and I can say that at least one of them is injured as I can smell blood leaving his body, which means that either he is the only one with a serious wound and that the others are just covered by his blood, or that the others have some small shallow wounds, anyway in both cases, he is in a bad situation, there's also a huge body being dragged behind them, from its scent I can say that it is some kind of insect and it is died."
