Go." Just as that word left his mouth, a bullet passed through his brain, killing him intently.

He died peacefully, knowing that he did what he had to do, and that the villagers in his village were safe.

Karl didn't know what was happening in front of him, after they searched all the rooms in the house, only one was left, from its place and how much space it had they understood that it was the room of whoever was in control of that house.

A soldier with him broke the door, they then entered the room while protecting each other, and as they did what appeared in front of them was an old man who seemed to be in his late seventies.

And in his hand was a small piece of paper that was shining in a bright red color, seeing that he and every member of his small team were surprised for a few seconds, but as they noticed that the color of the small piece of paper was getting redder and redder, they returned to their senses and the soldier who was good at English shouted at him to stop whatever he was doing or they would shoot, but he old man didn't care about whatever they said, and instead he just closed his eyes and acted as if they weren't even there.

After that soldier shouted for a few more times, Karl couldn't take it as he started feeling that whatever it was that the old man was doing it was a bad thing and that they had to deal with him fast, after all that red piece of paper didn't seem normal at all, and it was getting redder and redder by the second.

So he said to the soldier next to him:

"Take him out."

The soldier didn't hesitate to execute his order as he aimed his weapon at the old man and opened fire.

But just before the soldier could get the chance to fire, Karl was able to hear the old man saying the word "Go" in a low voice.

Even though Karl wasn't good with English, a word like go was still an easy one for him, but he still couldn't understand why that old man said that word at that moment.

But that question soon disappeared from his mind as another thing caught his attention, no not just him, it caught the attention of everyone in that room, it was the small shining piece of paper.

After the old man's got shot, he fall to the ground, but what was surprising was that the small piece of paper didn't fell to the ground and instead it stayed floating in its place.

Karl couldn't believe what he was looking at, he had to look at his team mates wanting to ask if they saw it, while thinking that he was the only one who was seeing that.

But without even asking them, just by looking at their frozen shocked faces he understood that what he was seeing wasn't just a hallucination but a real thing.

Just as he wanted to take a step forward to see if he could get it, the small piece of paper finally moved.

In an astonishing speed it flew upward, while being covered by a shining red sphere, it broke the ceiling and kept on going upward, catching the attention of everyone in the village and even some people in the army far away in the shore were able to see a small red flaming thing flying toward the sky.

The red sphere flew for a high distant toward the sky before finally disappearing in the night sky.

A squad leader looked at the soldiers around him asking for answers about what just happened and what that red sphere that flew to the sky was, but then something caught his attention.

He saw that the villagers didn't seem surprised or afraid from that red sphere which moved to the sky, and that instead of lifting their heads to look at the sky like the soldiers were doing, they were doing their best to cover their ears while looking at the ground.

Some mothers and fathers even started hurriedly asking from their children to cover their ears and not to look at the sky while others started covering the ears of their small children who couldn't do it themselves.

As he saw that he got a bad promotion, and he shouted:

"Hurry up cover your ears and stop looking at the sky, cover your ea..." As he was shouting that he had already covered his ears.

In the middle of his words the sky above them suddenly bloomed and a blinding shining red color was released, blinding everyone who was looking at it, and coloring the sky blood red, after that with a few second a huge explosion was heard making all those who weren't ready for it suffer.

The sound of the explosion was so defying that people from the main army were able to hear it.

The squad leader's warning did help a few soldiers as they were trained to follow orders till it become a reflexive habit, but there was still a few who didn't react fast and suffered from the explosion.

Yet even those didn't suffer a lot as they only had a little deafness, loss of balance and got panicked a little, nothing much.

Karl inside the building heard the squad leader's warning, but he didn't understand what he was talking about or if he and his other friends who were with him too had to do that too.

But then as he saw the red ball in the sky from the small opening that the red sphere made he understood what was happening and what the squad leader meant so he hurriedly covered his ears, and as they saw him do that his team mates also followed his lead and covered their ears, because of that they were alright.

As they left the building the first thing that they noticed was the red color that was covering the ground, it wasn't really covering the ground instead it was the light coming from the sky which covered everything, giving it a reddish shade.

After that they saw the squad leaders all together talking about what was happening while the soldiers put a heavier watch on the villagers.

When they saw them leave the house, the squad leaders called them over as everyone was able to notice that that red sphere came from the building which they were in.

"Yes sir." Karl said as he stood in front of his squad leader.

"What happened inside, what was that red sphere that flew to the sky, where did it come from?" the squad leader asked.

Karl explained everything that happened inside, how they searched through the house for villagers and how they found the old man in what seemed as the room of the owner of the house and what they saw inside, everything that happened to them there was told.

The squad leaders didn't know what to think after they head what Karl and the other said, for a piece of paper to fly on its own till it reaches such a high altitude was already unbelievable, not to mention the explosion that it made, and also...

As if they made it to the same conclusion all the squad leaders lifted their heads and looked at the red sky above them, the sky didn't change, and it didn't even show a sign of returning to its normal color, at was still red, an eye catching red.

Even if it was a bomb that detonated in the sky it wouldn't have made such a weird phenomenon, making them wander about just what was happening, and if this new Area that they thought of just as a land full of barbarians was just as it seemed.

"Sir, asking for permission to speak." Karl said as he saw all the leaders fall into since after hearing what he said.

"Speak" a squad leader said.

"May be we should ask those villagers about what they know, after all from what I saw they are acting as if they know what all of this is." Karl said while pointing at the villagers who seemed to be in a better shape than the soldiers from Area 05.

They seemed calm, and weren't afraid of the red sky or whatever was happening, some of them even seemed happy.

"A great idea, you go and catch a few villagers and ask them about what that was just now, you can do anything, the only important thing is answers." A squad leader nodded his head finding the idea quite good before turning his head to a soldier who was good at English and ordering him to get some answers.

As they were still waiting for what information the soldier would bring them a soldier came and said:

"Squad leader, General Hanson is on the phone right now and he is asking of you to explain what is happening here."

The squad leader who was called sighed before moving toward the vehicle where the phone was while thinking about what to say as all what he get seemed unbelievable and they hadn't even get any information from the villagers yet.

What the soldiers from Area 05 didn't know was that just around three hundred kms or so from where the village was a huge fortress like structure stood majestically.

That place was the branch of the Royal Academy in Australia.

And at that moment in the night a man was running through its hallways, he was running frantically, from time to time he would look through the windows which were along the hallway as if making sure of what he saw and after seeing the red color which was covering the sky far away he would start running even faster.

He didn't meet any guards or anything like that for as long as he run, but that was normal after all that whole area of the academy was kept for that one man, the one he was going to meet, and that man didn't need any guards.

After a while of running he finally made it to a big metal door he stopped for a second in front of that metal door bowed, took a deep breath before mastering all his power and starting to push it.

The man seemed skinny and a little bit weak, but as he started pushing that metal door, on his skin, blue glowing tattoo like drawings started appearing all over his body, and the huge metal door started moving slowly.

After a while of trying the door finally was pushed open, the man didn't try entering after he opened the door instead he fall to his knees as the blue glowing tattoos disappeared from his body and he said in a trembling voice:

"Head master, sorry for coming for you at this late hour at night but I have an important thing to say, the... The..." the man seemed as if he couldn't finish his words as what he was going to say was a surprise to him, after all who would dare to attacked a territory under the control and the protection of the academy.

"The red star was released." Before the man could get the chance to calm himself and finish his words, a voice sounded from deep inside the room.

The voice seemed strong and had a majestic aura in it that would make however heard it shiver a little.

"I... It is just as you said master, the red star was released, ho... How did you know that?" the man asked.

"The red star's effects aren't just the explosion and the red sky, it also do another thing... It disturbs the flow of Mana in the surrounding five hundred kms, most accomplished wizards would feel it, even if they are outside the five hundred km reduce." The old voice sounded again.
