"Robin here you are, you really know how to hide, it took me a while to find you." Dan shouted to Robin as he saw him.
"I was just taking a look at the place here, what do you want? It can't be that you just wanted to see me." Robin asked with a smile.
"Yes, I need you for something, do you still have the soul weapon?" Dan asked.
"I do have it, but it's not on me it's on my room, wait I'll go and get it." Robin said before he teleported away.
Robin teleported to his room, while Dan and Thomas waited, the later didn't actually know what Dan wanted to do, or what a soul weapon was so he just stood there outside the room not knowing what to do.
A few seconds later Robin returned and handed Dan the bow as he said:
"Here it is, are you going to give it to Randy? he was quite interested in getting it and seeing what his ability was going to be."
"Unfortunately he would have to wait, I'm trying to make sure of something, and if it's really what I think it is then he would have to wait for a while longer." Dan smiled while taking the bow from Robin, then he said good bye before leaving Robin and heading to the hold with Thomas.
When they made it there Thomas looked at Dan and asked:
"So why did you bring me here, and what's this... Soul weapon?" He was quite interested in that weird looking bow which Dan got from Robin, it had such a weird shape and was made from unusual materials, and for a weaponsmith like him a weapon like that would always attract him.
"You see after seeing your two weapons I got a thought, and I needed to test it" Dan answered while getting that small needle which Anie gave him.
He first made the bow ownerless before looking at Thomas and saying:
"Give me your hand."
Finding no reason to say no, Thomas lifted his hand and moved it toward Dan who made a small wound on his index finger. his speed was way too fast so Thomas didn't have time to react before blood appeared on the wound.
"What are you doing?" Thomas asked in surprise, he didn't understand why Dan did do that.
"Don't worry, I just need a drop of your blood that's all, here can you drop it here on the
bow." Dan said.
Still not understanding anything Thomas dropped a little bit of his blood on the soul weapon, and what happened after that made him surprised, the bow started shining making him shut his eyes, it shone for a few seconds before stopping.
When he opened his eyes again he saw that the bow had returned to normal, looking at Dan questioningly awaiting answers, he found that he was still looking at the bow as if waiting for another thing to happen.

That made him look at the bow again and as he did he saw that the leaves on the bow started swaying from one side to the other as if there was wind, what was even weirder was how he felt as if they were dancing or celebrating, that went on of a few seconds before finally stopping and returning to their normal lifeless state.
"You really are a creator..." Dan murmured in a voice that Thomas was able to hear.
"Creator? what's that" Thomas asked, he found all what was happening to him quite weird, and he knew that only Dan understood what was happening.
"Oh sorry, I just lost myself in my own thoughts for a second." Dan apologized first before starting to explain what was happening:
"You see this bow here is brought from the world that Robin came from... Robin is the one with the ability to teleport and also the one who handed us the bow just now, anyway this bow is called a soul weapon because as soon as it get an owner it would accept him and him only, it would only change owners if it's old master is died, but as you can see I have a way to deal with that, we are not talking about that so I'll just pass it.
"What you should know is that soul weapons are made by people with specific abilities, those abilities make them better at making weapons then other people, even if they use just some normal materials there's always a chance of the final product being abnormal or having some weird aspect about it, and even without awakening their ability their weapons are way better than other people." here Dan stopped and looked at Thomas who was listening seriously wanting to understand all what was happening, seeing him nod he continued:
"When I first saw your weapon I had the idea that they were top notch weapons, and the axe was even abnormal, making me wander if you had a production type ability, or in another words, if you were a creator, after all creators, even without the awakening of their ability, would have a good chance of making quite a few abnormal weapons, thinking of ways to prove it, I remembered how if a soul weapon got a creator as its owner it would show some weird signs as if celebrating, because for soul weapons all the creators are the same, and being the servant of one mean is the same as being the servant of their maker, making them quite happy."
"So... This bow here... Think and understand what's happening around it?" Thomas asked after a while of Dan finishing his words.
His question surprised Dan as he didn't expect him to ask about that, instead he thought that he would ask about his ability and all.
Shaking himself from the surprise he smiled and said:
"All of the soul weapons have a little bit of consciousness in them, it's small and dormant most of the time, it would only get strong enough to think and express itself in the outside world if it lived for hundreds if not thousands years, except that, it would only show itself on special occasions like this one."

After hearing that Thomas seemed lost in thoughts, Dan waited for him to return to his senses but no matter how long he waited Thomas didn't seem as if he was going to, so he said:
"Hey, Thomas what are you thinking about?"
"Oh sorry I was just thinking about how great it would be for the weapons that you create to have life on them, it would be so fascinating." Thomas said regretfully.
Hearing him Dan wondered if he hadn't caught to what he had just said, or if he simply forgot everything as soon as he heard how weapons would have thought so he said:
"Well you are going to feel, it so there's no need to feel regret or anything like that."
"What do you mean?" Thomas asked excitedly.
"Can't you remember I just said that the one of the reason a soul weapon would react is if it get a creator as a master, and with what just happened it means that you are a creator…Well will be a creator, you will have to wait till your ability awakens before you can start making a soul weapon." Dan answered with a smile.
"How... How to awake an ability?" Thomas asked excitedly.
"It's easy just go through blood baths and keep the bow next to you all the time."
After that they talked about soul weapons abilities and how to awake abilities using the special effect of soul weapons, they talked and discussed till it was the time for lunch when they get up and moved toward the dining room.
When they entered they separated as Dan moved toward the table where Nero and the others were while Thomas left to the table where his wife and little son were.
"Hey Dan where is the bow? it was supposed to be my turn to awake an ability, but Robin just told me that you took it from him saying that I have to wait for a while, this isn't good you have to be fair." even before setting on his seat Randy started asking him about the soul weapon.
Being the only one of the group that didn't know a thing about his ability, Randy felt quite left out, and he was waiting and dreaming about the day when he finally gets the soul weapon so he could know about his ability and finally awake it.
And when it was finally his turn to try it he heard from Robin that Dan took it and asked him to wait, he needed to know about the reason of that.
"I have a good reason for that." Dan set down before saying that.
"You better have..." Randy grumbled.
Ignoring him Dan continued:
"You see, I found a creator."
None of the people at the table, except Nero and Robin understood what he meant by a creator.
"Are you serious?" Nero shouted.
Creators were quite rare in the world so the chance of finding one in a group that didn't even have fifty people was simply unbelievable.
Robin's reaction wasn't that big but he still showed a surprised expression on his face.
"What's a creator?" Randy asked, the subject of the conversation concerned him the most and he didn't understand a thing about what they were talking about.
Nero then started explaining what a creator was, when everyone there heard that a creator was someone who could make soul weapons they all showed surprised expressions, even Randy didn't say a thing, he was able to see that giving the bow to someone who had such an ability was better for the team, because as soon as this person awakens his ability the overall power of the team would get stronger because of the soul weapons that they would make.
"You are simply unlucky." Nero patted Randy on his shoulder while saying that.
"No, it's ok I can wait." Randy shook his head.
"So who is this creator?" Nero asked.
"He's that man there, Thomas." Dan pointed at Thomas who was holding his kid.
"You mean the man who made the spears used to kill the dragon?" Anie asked.
"Yeah it's that one." Dan nodded, then as if remembering something he said:
"Oh yeah talking about that, I got some weapons from him, weapons that can go through the body of the dragon, do you want to be there and take a look after lunch as I try cutting it."
"I will." Randy said as soon as Dan finished speaking.
Katherine and Anie looked at each other and they shook their heads, they weren't so interested in seeing that.
"I'll come and see what weapons can go through that hard skin." Nero said.
"I won't be participating in this" Leonard said, he too wasn't interested in seeing that.
"Ok then after lunch we will go and deal with it." Dan said.
After that they talked about different things till lunch was delivered, at that time they still had some wild vegetables and some meat that they brought from the shore with them so they were eating something else and not just fish.
Even though they threw the big heavy net away they still had a smaller one that was enough for their daily needs, they only needed to stop for a while and drop the nets, the life in the ocean was flourishing after hundreds of years without humans to destroy the ecosystem there, so they didn't have to worry about not catching anything.
After having lunch Dan Nero and Randy moved to the hold where the corps was.

So, um... how do I explain this simply? Okay, so... There's a girl, she's er... She's in high school, and, um... She has a superpower that mutes things? Also she lives? Yeah, sorry. The concept's too confusing isn't it? Warning: The stuff below is technically correct, but this fiction, with my other, is now on the failed pledge list. Shocking how a lack of updates for more than half a year actually meant something... Sorry for the delay, still not really up to writing for this series as of now (14/03/18 - remember I'm english, so correct) but I'm still trying to get into writing... Cover is thanks to Zenlith (WriTE's Founding Member). This fiction is signed under the 'The Pledge'... Some internet message in a forum about not dropping or giving a rushed ending in their fiction, otherwise meet the wrath of letting RRL mod Vocaloid have 'fun' with the fiction's description. So mainly for the sake of my fiction due to said wrath, I'll see this fiction through. Updates: up in the air... hopefully the day after this is edited, but we all have dreams. Warning for mild profanity, but it shouldn't happen too much for the innocent out there so don't take the warning to heart.
