"Are you hungry too?" Dan asked with a smile.

"No I just was going around the place and I decided to come and take a look at the kitchen." Katherine answered.

"So what do you think." Dan asked.

He took a look around him when he made it there and saw that the kitchen was surprisingly clean.

"It's good, its way better than how I expected it to be." Katherine nodded.

"Hey Katherine..." Dan said hesitatingly.

Hearing the tone of Dan's words Katherine looked at him questioningly, she felt that he was going to say something important.

"Katherine... You know that the chance of us returning to our Area... our earth I mean, is small, probably we won't even be able to do it, you understand that, right?" Dan said.

He wanted her to understand that, after all from the whole team only she didn't know that clearly, probably even if she thought about it, she just stopped herself from going down that line of thoughts, he wanted her to understand the possibility of never seeing her family members ever again, as even though it wasn't pleasant it was the truth.

"I... I thought about it but... Is there really no way to return?" Katherine asked after a while of silence.

"You see our area is to our east, while we will go to the west and in this new gigantic world returning to our world will be hard, so even though I won't say that it is impossible it is hard... Unimaginably hard." Dan said.

"It was planned that I would marry this year, do you know that?" Katherine said after a while of silent.

Dan didn't know what to say to Katherine, he could only try comforting her:

"I..." but before even saying anything Katherine interrupted him by saying:

"Don't worry, it was a planned marriage, I didn't want it, it was forced on me, so this actually can be a good thing, I even thought about running from home and leaving everything behind me, not suffering the fate of deciding and getting it like this instead is also a bless on its owen."

Her words surprised Dan and made him release a breath of relief, he wasn't good with words when it comes to consoling, as he never found himself in a position like that, so her words saved him from messing everything up.

"I do feel sad thinking that I may not see anyone I know ever again, but I also feel a weird feeling, it's like... Freedom, knowing that no one knows me and that I won't meet anyone I know no matter how far I go or whatever i do, I feel relaxed, no matter how weird that may sound, this is my true feeling right now" seeing his expression Katherine said with a smile, she found that this unelected leader of them was not always reliable.

"Oh yeah, why aren't you training with Nero, are you able to control your ability already?" not knowing what to say Dan could only change the subject and ask her about that.

"He said that I'm good already, here look." saying that he pointed her finger at a wooden chair a few meters away from them.

A second later a bolt of lightning left her hand and hit that chair destroying half of it.

"I can already discharge lightning from my body, except that it is not as strong as the one which got discharged when I touch something." she said while sighing.

"You just need time now, just keep on trying till you get it." Dan said.

"Yeah that's exactly what Nero said." Katherine nodded.

After that both of them left the kitchen, after moving for a bit they separated as Katherine left to Anie's room while Dan searched for old Frank.

When he met him he asked him, about something that he was thinking about for a while:

"Hey old Frank, are there any iron spears or anything like that in the base." Old Frank didn't think a lot before saying:

"There are some iron spears in the base they are used by some hunters who leave to the mountains during the Great Migration."

Fishing wasn't the only thing that the native of that area did during the Great Migration, they also leave to the mountain to hunt, they also search for wild vegetables, there are many things that could only be done on the Great Migration.

"Great, then got me… thirty at least." Dan said.

Hearing his words old Frank didn't really know what to say except nodding his head, he started getting used to Dan's weird commands, and he also understood that it would be for his good if he just did what he was asked to do, because even if he asked questions he won't get the answers he wanted.

"Sir what do you think is the meaning of this?" a bald huge middle aged man asked, a man who was setting on a big throne like chair.

The man on the chair had big scars on his face making it way to ugly to look at, he was also the second strongest person in the city after the one eyed dragon, so he had a big reputation in the city and his gang the Mad Dog gang was one of the strongest gangs in the city.

What the bald middle aged man asked about was Dan's behavior in the one eyed dragon's gang, their spies in the gang told them about how he ordered some guards to throw the nets away and to move all the water containers from the other ships and put them in Barbarossa.

The three ships weren't under the full control of the one eyed dragon's gang, but they were only left under its care while the fish that is caught and their crew are both split between all the gangs, so hearing Dan ask for such an unbelievable thing like throwing all the nets and moving the water containers, first they didn't know what he wanted to do and second they were angry.

"I don't know... But whatever he want to do it won't be a good thing for us, we will need the fish which is caught, it will help us for a while." the other man said.

The man was the leader of the Mad Dog gang he was known as Mad Dog, he had a gang which left no place for normal people he only took fighters and killers, he gave no thought to normal people.

"So sir, what do you think we should do?" the bald man asked.

He wanted to know his leaders opinion on Dan and the others, so he didn't give any advices and decided to wait till he heard it.

"Of course we won't let such chance out of our hands. Those new leaders of the one eyed dragon gang might be strong, they were able to kill the one eyed dragon and his blood power users in such a short time and finished most of them before they were found out after all. But if all the blood power users from the other gangs, gang up on them they would die for sure, of course that would only happen if they did something stupid which would alert all the gangs giving them a reason to destroy them, like what they just did, throwing the nets from one ship and taking the water containers from the other two, that isn't smart at all don't you think?" Mad Dog said.

"But sir, they were able to finish them all in such a short time, doesn't that mean that they are stronger then the one eyed dragon, if the gamgs didn't get together to finish the one eyed dragon, than why would they want to do it now to a stronger opp

onent," the bald middle aged man asked.

Mad Dog laughed and said:

"I will ask you, do you think that the one eyed dragon and his other blood power users would have been able to get out alive from an ambush or a fight against all the other blood power users in the city?" without even waiting for answer he said:

"No of course they wouldn't have, then do you know why the blood power users in the city didn't try doing that, it's because of… fear, they all feared the one eyed dragon, that fear was deep in their bones, now that he's died, even if they know deep inside that their opponent are going to be way stronger then him, if the reward is big enough they would try it."

"Sir, what you mean is..." the bald man asked, he understood his leaders words it's just that he wanted to make sure.

"Send people outside to the other gangs and tell them about what we just knew, they probably already know about it so you should only tell them that we should work together to take them down, we would split everything fairly after that." Mad Dog said with a smile on his face.

"Ok I'll do that right away but sir... Do you think that the might know something about why the day become longer? I mean they were the first who noticed it after all." the bald man said with hesitation.

The change in the duration of a day made everyone who knew about it surprised and afraid, as something like that can't happen normally.

Mad Dog stayed silent for a while, he too wandered if those people knew the reason behind that.

But he soon returned to his senses and said:

"Even if they know something, we will just ask them about it when the Great Migration starts, we shouldn't waste our time thinking about it here, so hurry up and do what I asked you to do."

The bald man understood what he had to do so he left the room and found a few runners and sent them to the other gang's leaders with the message that Mad Dog wanted him to send.

It didn't take long before many runners left the Mad Dog gang to the other gangs, taking with them messages to the other gangs leader asking them to work together and destroy the one eyed dragon gang.

Dan and the others didn't know anything about that because even though the one eyed dragon gang had some spies in the other gangs of the city, Mad dog made sure to only tell what they wanted to do to his trusty followers.

Anyway Dan and the others were all setting together after dinner while talking about the dragon hunting and about how things might go while trying to hunt it.

"I know that probably all of you have thought about this already but I'll say it anyway, we might not be able to return to our respective Areas, as all of them are to our east while we will be heading to the west.

"I'm saying this because I want you to know that we only have each other now, even though we have just met, and some of you even had disputes before, we should throw all of that behind us and work together to survive, our first test will be fighting the injured dragon at that time we have to trust each other with our lives, and after that the second test will come, going out to the ocean, I'm sure that then we will go through a lot of situations, the journey will be long that's a fact and who know what we might go through and find while in the ocean so we should all trust and depend on each other." Dan said that after they talked for a while.

"I also think so, after all we are now together in this, and we should trust each other and get ready to what's coming and what we are going to face in our journey." Randy was the first to say.

"I also think so." as soon as Randy finished talking and even before any of them said anything they heard a voice coming from the entrance of the room.

Looking over they saw Leonard walking in.
