The guard seemed as if he believed him, but then his eyes fall on Leonard and he asked while looking at him:

"What about him why is he with you?"

"He's just a countermeasure in case we met one of the one eyed dragon's loyal subordinate, he was going to act as a prisoner, and I would have said that I was taking both of them to jail." Nero answered him, with no signs of hesitation as if what he said was the truth, and then he added while patting Leonard's shoulders:

"Now that we have made it here, you should wait for me alongside this brother here I'll be back soon."

Leonard started nodding his head repeatedly in a silly manner.

Seeing that Nero sighed and told the guard:

"Don't mind him، he has a screw loss in his head, just make sure that he won't wander anywhere before I return ok." and without even waiting for an answer he turned around and started walking.

The guard stood there frozen; in the later part of the conversation he didn't even have the chance to talk it was just Nero talking so without even knowing how it happened, he found himself with Leonard who stood there with a blank look on his face.

"So... What's your name" the guard asked after a few moments of Leonard staring at him absent mindedly.

Leonard didn't answer he just started nodding his head in that silly manner again, making the guard wish for Nero's return.

"Is he going to be alright?" Katherine asked Nero after they moved away from the guard.

"If everything goes alright he will, after all he's only job is to finish the guard in case we made any noise and he became suspicious." Nero said, the meaning of his words was apparent, make no mistakes and he will be alright.

"Ok I understand I'll do my best" understanding what Nero said Katherine nodded her head repeatedly.

"Great then get ready we are almost their."

Thomson was happily asleep when he heard some people talking at the door of his room.

The owners of those voices were normal people and they acted as if he wasn't able to hear them, which was a normal thing, as no normal person could have been able to hear a voice that low, but hearing what was being said was simple for him as a blood power user.

He found those voices annoying as no one was allowed to got with in10 meters of his room without his permission, he just wanted to get out and kill whoever it was that was standing in front of his door, but he still stopped himself and listened carefully to what they were saying:

"Please let me go, I don't want to do this anymore." the voice of a pleading woman was the first thing that he heard.

"What are you saying, we already talked about this ages ago you can't return on your words now, look the door is just there." the voice of a man with a hint of anger and frustration answered her.

"But I don't want to do it, I don't want to sell my body for a few extra meals, I don't know how I accepted it in the first place, but now I don't want it come on you can't make me do it please let us return I changed my mind?" the woman's pleading voice sounded again, and this time it seemed even more nervous.

At first Thomson just listened in order to understand what was happening and to see who was it that was standing outside his door, but the more he heard the more interested he become, till in the end he couldn't stop himself from saying in a loud enough voice that the two outside were able to hear:

"What are you two doing outside my door? You know that it is prohibited to get any closer than 10 meters to any blood power user's room, right?"

Silence fall on the place outside his room but it didn't last long as the sound of someone being pushed was heard:

"I... I came to serve you my lord." it seemed that the woman was pushed by the man and was surprised into talking.

Thomson chuckled internally as he finally understood what was happening, in this world where dragons were on the top of the food chain, dignity became something of the past and the thought of sealing one's self to stronger people for the sake of things they needed wasn't new or unheard of, that wasn't even the first time he had gone through it, it was just that the time was way too late which made him not consider it at first.

"Ok but first let me see how you look like." after laughing for himself for a while Thomson finally got up and moved to open the door.

"O... Ok my lord." the shivering voice of the woman sounded from behind the door as he got closer.

'From the voice I believe that she won't be that ugly I wander how she really look lik..." he opened the door expecting to see a beautiful woman standing in front of him, instead before even pulling the door entirely, he felt something hit him on the shoulder, after that he felt numb all over, then everything turned black.

Back to where Leonard and the guard were, after Thomson got hit by Katherine's arrow he reflexively released a shout, and the guard was able to hear it.

"Did you hear that?" the guard asked Leonard.

Leonard didn't answer him he just nodded his head in the same silly way.

The guard sighed and turned toward Thomson's room, but as he turned his back to Leonard, the latter's silly look disappeared and he moved toward him, and strangled him by headlocking him from behind, and putting his other hand on his mouth giving him no time to shout.

Leonard wasn't going to kill him he just strangled till he lost counscesness.

After that me moved the body to a well-hidden place and waited.

Not long after sound of footsteps came from the path ahead taking a quick look Leonard was able to see Nero and Katherine.

"I see, so we really did make a noise huh?" Nero asked after he saw Leonard stand in front of him with no sign of the guard.

"He's just unconscious I didn't want to kill him after all we don't want to kill normal people." Leonard said, and then he looked at Katherine and added:

"So was the lightning able to take him down or what"

"Yes it worked, he fall straight away, well it's just that..." Katherine didn't finish her words, instead she showed a doubting expression on her face.

"What's wrong?"

"No it's just that I somehow felt that the power of the arrow and lightning was stronger than before that's all."

"That's probably just because the bow absorbed the blood of those two people, now that it absorbed the blood of Thomson, it will become even strong."

Nero said, but the two weren't able to see that while he was talking about that he showed an unnatural expression on his face, he remembered Dan's words:

'... Not the only reason I gave it to her, huh?' shaking his head he took one last look at the bow and said:

"Let's move, the others finished one blood power user too, let's hurry and help them finish the rest."

Back to the past a little bit, while Nero was talking with the guard:

Dan and the others two were in front of a guard but instead of using some trick, Randy simply took him down after all there's a big different between a guard in a gang and a trained soldier.

After that they moved stealthy till they made it to the door of the blood ability user that they were going to assassinate.

Old Frank took a deep breath and moved toward the door, knocking at it gently.

Soon after a voice was heard:

"Who is it?"

The owner of the voice shouted those three words showing how annoyed and angry he was.

"I'm old Frank, me and Patrick and another one were sent by the one eyed dragon to catch a few people un... Unfortunately, we met some trouble, and now the one eyed dragon wants all the blood power users to meet as he has something to tell you."

"Trouble? What trouble did you meet?" the owner of the voice said while moving toward the door.

Hearing his footsteps getting closer old Frank's face paled a bit but then he looked at Dan and saw him looking at him with a calm gaze calming him down a bit as he said:

"It's not that I don't want to tell you but the one eyed dragon told me to keep silent about it till everyone was there."

When he finished speaking the owner of the voice was opening the door already.

"I don't care what he told you tell me what hap..." when he opened the door, he expected seeing old Frank's face so he started shouting at him, but instead he found himself face to face with the gun's muzzle and he died just like that.

The plasma gun was a silent killing weapon as it was a weapon designed for soldiers who probably were behind enemy lines, so the first three things that were put under priority were the ammo, durability, and noise problems.

So in the end they made the plasma gun, a gun that is silence with infinity ammo and not easily damaged, even though it is called infinity there's a number of bullets generated every hour.

Anyway after dealing with the blood power user they returned the body to the room and moved toward their next target.

In their way there they met Nero and the others, knowing that they had accomplished their object they became happy, as they headed toward the last blood power user apart from the one eyed dragon.

They used the same tactic they used against Thomson, first they used Katherine as bait and waited from him to open the door, unfortunately things didn't go too well like the last time.

When the blood power user opened the door Katherine's arrow wasn't able to make him faint, instead he just took two steps back and released a defying shout.

When the six heard that their faces turned pale and Nero shouted:

"Not good, the one eyed dragon has moved, he's coming this way hurry up finish him of fast."

Randy acted as soon as he heard that he pointed the plasma gun at the blood power user's head and pulled the trigger, with that his head exploded and just as his body touched the ground they heard a shout from behind them:

"You dare!" 'I've always wanted to write that XD'

"Katherine got ready." Dan shouted.

Just as his words ended, a figure stood in front of them.

The person had normal features; if not for the eye patch on his eye, no one would have recognized him as the one eyed dragon.

The one eyed dragon looked at the lifeless body of the blood power user and then at Randy's plasma gun that was pointed at him, before saying with gritted teeth:

"Who are you, why did you kill someone from my gang?"

"No need to hold yourself back and try to buy sometime for the other blood power users to come, we already killed them all." Randy said with a sneer.

The one eyed dragon was surprised but then that surprise turned to anger, he really was thinking about buying sometime by talking to them till the other blood power users came, after all he was still unable to understand how they killed that blood power user, which made him quite cautious of them.

But who would have thought that those people wouldn't even try talking with him, but instead they would tell him that all his blood power users were already died.
