Ronald didn't know what to say. He understood where Moore was coming from, and he also understood that he was really worried about what might happen to them, and that was the only reason why he was acting like that, so he kept silent.
As the captain of the warship heard the four leaders arguing, he didn't execute his order but waited for them to stop as he was trained to only execute orders that all the leaders accept.
"Go on with your mission." Moore said, hearing no objection from the other four leaders the captain ordered the warship to hover a few meters above the ground of the island, and as it did five men wearing a full body metallic armor that made each and every one of them seem like a little giant jumped from it.
The armor were close to two meters and half tall, and they had a black surface that didn't reflect any light. Each of the armor had something like a bag on their backs except that they were a part of the armor, and as they moved their hand across it, a handle of a gun get ejected, catching it with their hand and pulling, the rest of the guns appeared.
Even with their big size and weight their movements were fast and nimble, giving those that saw them for the first time a great shock.
They moved toward the seven people and the person on the front that appeared as their leader said to them:
"Can you please come with us? don't worry we only want to ask you something, your safety will be kept."
The seven people looked at each other, till finally the woman that talked first sighed while shaking her head:
"It seemed that what Adam said was true, those people are greedy and won't leave just like that."
Finishing her words she gently waved her hand in the direction of the five men.
The four elders were puzzled as they saw that, but than in front of their eyes the five men turned to ice sculptures and all their vital signs disappeared from the screen. leaving the elders with their mouths open and their facial expressions frozen.
They didn't return to their senses till they heard the woman's voice again:
"Sigh... We will go with Adam's plan... But try leaving a few alive."
As soon as she said that a man with beautiful features but an arrogant expression lifted his hand and then slowly put it down.
Nothing happened at first but then out of nowhere a gigantic fireball appeared above the warship and it fall with unbelievable speed, even though the warship was supposed to have great heat resistant ability but it only took it three seconds to become melted metal.
Seeing that the man showed an interested expression as he said:
"Those toys are surprisingly strong."
"Enough nonsense. Lets deal with the others." a cloaked man said, with an unusual voice.
The other warships saw what happened and they knew that they had miscalculated, so the second in command said to the four leaders:
"Awaiting order, please hurry up and answer."
"Stay away and use long ranged weapons to finish them. If you see anything coming your way dodge" Moore wasn't just the head of the SAS and one of the four leaders, but also had a military background so he gave orders the fastest.
He knew that he had misjudged those barbarians and that his order has brought a disaster, but he also knew that regretting right then won't do him any good, he had to get those four warships from there safely.

"Roger that" the temporary captain said.
After that the four remaining warships split and started targeting the seven people.
One of the warships was closer to the island then the others, seeing this, one of the seven people, a giant like man, with bulging bronze muscles said while laughing with a voice that made even the other six people frown:
"Let me see if my ability works on those toys, one of them is in my range" saying that he pointed his finger at the warship and a second later it started swaying from left to right as if losing control, that was what the seven people saw, but the other warships and the four elders heard what was really happening inside the warship:
"All the electr.... devi... are malfunctio... we can't cont... the ship we are ...oing down we are going d..." and they watched in the hologram as the warship fall to the ocean drawing.
"It seems that it works pretty well" saying that the giant like man kept on laughing.
"I'll deal with one too" the cloaked man said while moving his hand and a black fog appeared above him, but soon after it moved with on an unbelievable speed and surrounded one warship, it didn't take long before all the fog entered the warship, a few seconds later the warship also fall to the ocean.
What the four elders heard and saw was horrifying, they heard screams and voices as if people were suffocating, and the video footage from the interior of the warship, showed how even without any apparent gaps the black fog was able to enter the warship and that wherever it passed it people will start falling dead.
"This place isn't advantageous for me but I think that I will take care of one too" saying this, a man with a long thick black beard smiled as he moved his hand up, it moved slowly and his veins started bulging and moving like earth warms
.
Suddenly he jolted his hand and as he did that, a boulder a few hundred meters long flow from his side toward the warship.
The warship's pilot was a veteran, and as he saw the rock flying toward him he moved the ship away, as even though the boulder was flying fast it wasn't so fast that a warship couldn't avoid.
But just as he did that the bearded man smiled hideously and moved his hand following it and the gigantic rock did the same, leaving the warship no time to avoid it hit it, and destroyed it totally.
As he woman that talked first looked at the last warship, she sighed and said with a voice that the four elders were able to hear:
"You made the wrong choice" saying that she pointed her finger at the warship.
At first nothing seemed to happen but then at the surface of the warship a thin layer of ice started appearing, and it didn't take long before the warship became a huge ice ball, yet if people looked inside it they would have seen that some of the people were still alive. Showing the amount of control the woman had over her ability.
After that the woman turned her head toward another woman and said:
"Can you bring that to the shore, we still need to see what we are up against"
The woman had bland hair and dark green eyes, she didn't seem too happy about being ordered by the cold woman, but she still waved her hand, pulling the huge ice warship toward them.
"Can one of you please take care of those flies they are annoying me" a skeleton like old man said as he pointed above his head.

If someone followed were he pointed he or she would be able to see few small flying machines hovering in the area.
"It's done" the green eyed woman voice made it through the hologram before it shutdown, leaving the room and the four elders in total silence.
"What are we going to do now" It was Ronald that finally broke the silence by saying that.
___
Dan felt as if his head was spinning around, when he returned to his senses.
Opening his eyes he saw a few bodies lying around him.
There was the cab driver, the woman who called herself a doctor and the three people that hit the taxi which he was in, all of them were unconscious.
Then he looked around him and saw that he was in what seemed like a ruined city, buildings were destroyed, trees and grass growing in the middle of the road, the streets were empty and desolate, all of that gave a creepy feeling to the city.
While he was looking around him, he felt as if something unusual seemed to be in his memory, after making sure of it his face became pale, and he started looking around him at the city with more attention.
Hearing a sound from next to him, he turned his head and saw that the cab driver has woke up, and he too was looking around him with a puzzled face, when he saw Dan he asked:
"Where are we? and how did we get here?" his voice was dry, as if he needed water.
"I don't know how we get here but I think that we are in big trouble."
"What do you mean?" the cab driver asked as his expression changed, he too was able to see that the place which they were in was weird, but he had no idea where they were. But the answer that the young man In front of him gave made it sound as if he knew where they were.
"If this is really the place which I think we are in, than staying in open places like this is going to be dangerous, we better go some other place to hide."
After saying that both of them started moving the other four to an abandoned house close by.
And while they were moving the last one, the glasses wearing young man, Dan saw the bow whicb was dropped next to him.
"What's wrong?" the cab driver, Leonard asked him as he saw how he kept looking at the bow, motionless.
"D... Do you have a needle or something sharp?" Dan said uncertainly.
"No sorry I don't have anything like that"
Hearing that Dan started searching to see if he had anything on him that would work, after searching for a few seconds he found a paper clip.
It wasn't sharp enough but it was better than nothing.
"What are you doing?" asked Leonard as he saw him folding it.
"Trying to make sure of something."
Saying that, he held the bow and after looking at it for a few seconds he got the folded paper clip, and using its tip, he made small holes in its body, after that he inserted the whole folded paper clip in the centre of the body of the bow, as he did that, a red liquid started dripping from it, as if it was blood falling from a wound.
"What is that?" Leonard asked.
He thought that Dan's behavior was weird but he also get that feeling that the person in front of him knew way more than him about this situation, so he decided to see what he was going to do.
"It's blood." answered Dan.
After saying that, Dan looked at the Leonard and said:
"Do you know how to use a bow?"
"No, of course I don't." Leonard said as he laughed, he didn't even have the time to spend with his freinds let alone spend time on such a pointless hobby.
"Ok let's first move this man inside, and then we will try waking that woman up to see if she know how to use it." Dan said.
"Why her, I mean one of the three people is its owner so they of course know how to use it."
"Because I don't trust them, they aren't the same as us."
"What do you mean?"
"I'll tell you later, just let's hurry up." Dan, didn't want to spend more time outside, because if what became clearer in his memories was true, than staying out in the open was truly dangerous.
After putting the glasses wearing young man down, Dan tried waking the woman up.
When she woke up she looked around her she saw that she was in a dark room, and only two men with her she wanted to scream but then Dan covered her mouth and said:
"Don't scream, we didn't bring you here, we also don't know what happened, I'm going to take my hand off so don't scream."
The woman nodded her head, and so Dan removed his hand.
"W... Where are we?" the woman was apparently shaken as her face was pale and her voice was somehow braking.
"I don't know but he... Dan seems to have an idea about where we are." Leonard said while looking at Dan, he also wanted to know where they were, and he was pretty sure that Dan at the very least had a general idea about that.
"I'll answer that later, now let me ask you, do you know how to use a bow" Dan didn't answer their question, but instead asked the woman his own.
"Yes I can use it, but what does that have to do with anything?" the woman said with a confused expression.
"You will know soon enough, now can you please give me your hand." Dan didn't want to answer because he felt that they won't believe him as what was in his mind was crazy enough to make him wander if he was just hallucinating.
The woman was still somehow doubtful, but she still gave Dan her hand, as he caught her hand, in lightning speed he poked her index finger using the folded paper clip.
"Hey what are you doing, what's the meaning of this?" seeing blood coming from her right hand's index finger she shouted in panic, even Leonard took one step closer.
Dan hurriedly lifted his hands above his head as he said:
"Stop, stop, I'll tell you everything right now, can just please drop a little bit of your blood on this bow... please. After this no matter what happens I'll tell you all what I know... Or I think I know."
The woman hesitated for a while and then she pointed her finger letting a drop of blood fall on the bow.
And then, in front of their eyes the bow started radiating a green light.
"Ah..." the woman let out a surprised voice as the light shot from the bow and enveloped her.

Because KU requires exclusivity as part of their terms of service, I have had to pull the majority of the content from this site. I left the full novel up for as long as possible, so I hope everyone got a chance to read it. If you haven't had a chance to read it in its entirety (sorry!) you can pick it up on Amazon. Thanks again for coming on this journey with me, and I so hope you enjoyed it. The book will be out on Tuesday July 24th. Best, James Hunter
