Chapter 96: World’s End
Amphere Harrison
Thanks to the Galaxy Dragon form, not even a single speck of the Almighty Hellscream never touched the Alterra Planet’s atmosphere. Exceria’s Pulsar Dragon also helped us travel a great distance in order to get closer to the Underworld. And now, we’re alone in this stream of hell. There’s only Airi and me.
The hell blaster started to melt my Chimeratech Dragon’s adamantine plating, but Airi is not even close to give up! Even her cybernetic chips starts to spark, she continues to push forward! And she even activated a forcefield to prevent me from vaporizing! Airi…She always put my safety first…
“It’s because I love you, Amphy! Totally!” Hearing that made me worried about her wellbeing.
We’re now closer to the head of the Underworld Dragon. Five, four, three. Only one kilometer left, and I can reach that body of the dark messiah! Once I kill that body, it’s all over!
Suddenly, there was a loud clank behind. When I turned around, I was severely shocked as I witness Airi’s wings become liquid mercury in no time! If she continue this, she’ll die!
“Airi, I’ll take this from now on!” I immediately jumped out and rocketed forward with the help of my dynamos! Once Airi witnessed this, she reverted back to her humanoid form and curved to evade being melted by the hellscream.
I heard her shout from afar. “GO, AMPHY!!!”
I activated Deus Ex Machina to protect me from the fire surge, but it suddenly melted. The metallic skull became soft as water in no time! Next is I used my dynamo to form a barrier to prevent me from getting hit directly by the immense heat, but then all my dynamos vaporized! With my reflex, I drew my photon broadsword and slashed the beam into two as I carve a path to my destination!
Unfortunately, the photon broadsword has melted. But I managed to close in the distance! Five meters! From thousands of kilometers in the Galaxy Dragon, to tens of kilometers with Pulsar Dragon, a kilometer with Chimeratech Dragon, hundreds of meters using all of my ability until I managed to make a direct contact! I immediately unsheated the blue photon sword on my back and made a clean slash from Necross’s forehead down to his navel!

“NOOOOOOOOO!!!”
Necross screamed as his human body turn into complete ashes that mixed to the atmosphere of this barren field. The Underworld Dragon then pulsed for one last time and then landscaped and reverted itself back to its red planet form.
I looked at the skies and saw Airi falling from the skies. Because of the contradicting gravities of the two planet, she fell in a slow-mo manner which I immediately caught. When she’s finally on my arms, we smiled at each other as we celebrated. “We did it!”
Suddenly, the Vesryn mark on her forehead glowed, and the next thing we know is we’re in white nothingness. White, pure white. There was an unknown light source in this place.
An image of a young silver-haired woman appeared in front of me. I know from the start who this woman is.
Vesryn.
Vesryn, on her younger self. She was wearing a traditional kimono, and she has those dragonoid red eyes, not the Eye of Deus. Thoughts have been injected on my head, and my mouth started to speak without knowing it.
“I shall now give you the Eye of Deus. Thou shall follow thy prophecy, for it will save every living creature in existence. The dragon saint shall make an acquaintance with the Eye of Deus, for the unholy ritual Necross Ascension to be forever forgotten.”
That’s right. The apparition, whom Vesryn thought was Deo, was actually me. I am now conversing with Vesryn’s past self, to continue the loop of time, to defeat the absolute evil, and to mark the destiny. I am the original owner of the Eye of Deus, and I am here, to lend her power. I shall now pass the eyes to the ancient.
In an instant, we went back to the real dimension. But it doesn’t change the fact that we’re still up here in the Underworld. I gaze upon the skies and saw the green planet, now getting bigger and closer. I have defeated Necross already! Why the hell is the Underworld still colliding with our planet!?
“Necross Ascension has been perfected, so the planetary collision will be inevitable at this rate.” Airi said. “But we still have a way to prevent the two planets from colliding. Totally…”

That was the saddest phrase and ‘totally’ I have ever heard. I stared at her in a serious manner and then she continued to talk. “I can use all the magic left on me, from the Galaxy Dragon. I have made my calculations, and using all our strength, we can destroy this planet. But…”
“We will die.” I finished. That should be obvious. Right now, we have no way to get back to the planet. Airi no longer have wings, and I can no longer use my clearance abilities since I just used all of them. We’re completely out of option. Destroying this world will mean destroying ourselves. But we die either way, even if we didn’t use our remaining strength to destroy the Underworld. We will be crushed when the planets crashed to one another.
I forced my brain to be optimist and gather all the happy thoughts in me. I scratched my head with a smile to my love. “Well, Necross and Dragunov are both gone. The Dragonoid Rights Law is finally in effect. Wars between dragonoids and humans will start to cease. We did a pretty good job in our life, y’know.”
“Totally!” Airi cheered up. “I also wanted to try a lover’s suicide. This will be a perfect time for us!”
Suddenly, Airi grabbed my face and kissed me with her affectionate lips. I hugged her tight, with all the force I had. While doing all this, I grabbed my chest which glowed faintly. We paused a moment, and then I whispered.
“Dracaryx. Activate Yggdrasil Fall.”
Suddenly, nine actual planets materialized that surrounded the Underworld. Nine planets, all of which the same size of the underworld, collided. There was a magnitude hundred as the ground intensely shook. The planets burned and converted into a trillion dusts that fall to the planet of Alterra as micro meteorites. The impact was so immense and powerful that it converted all the ten planets into nothingness.
And the world of the wicked is finally gone.
I opened my eyes, and Airi was there smiling. We’re back in this white nothingness again. But I am certainly sure that this is the other side. The afterlife.
Airi’s adorable face was right in front of me. I examined and memorized every detail of her face. Her blushing cheeks made her cuteness overloaded. Her smile was the brightest, even compared to the stars. Her silky red hair danced as she took a step forward, towards me, and looked at me with an affectionate gaze with her ruby eyes that is more precious than all the treasures of the universe.
She raised her soft white hands and presented me the most precious thing to her. It was the handkerchief, which I gave when we were a kid. It was her hair ornament for years, and it contains all the precious memories we had together.
“Take it.” Airi said with the most striking smile I’ve ever seen in my lifetime.
Without any second thought, I got my hands on the handkerchief. But then she talked again.
“I’m sorry, Amphy. Totally. I’m sorry that I lied once again. I can’t have you die with me.”
I suddenly felt a hard disk-like object on the handkerchief, and when I unfolded it…It has a fully-charged shield plate.
“I told you before, right?” Airi is now smiling with tears. “I will protect you with all my heart and soul. I will sacrifice everything, even my life and dreams just to make you safe and happy. Totally!”
“N-No!” I screamed. “I don’t want you to do this alone! I will…” Tears ran through my cheeks. My throat was dry, but I forced myself to speak! “I won’t be happy without you, Airi! So please…”
Airi did a kind smile, giving me the hint that nothing will ever change her mind.
“I love you, Amphere Harrison. Totally!”
Those were her last words. She immediately pushed me away with all her might from the collapsing underworld, and I just fucking watched my love being caught in the wide explosion, unable to do anything.
I wanted to grab her hand and hold her, but the shockwave of the blast pushed me further away from the woman I love the most.
“AIRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!!”
