Chapter 76: Love without Progress

“D-Damn!” Richard inhaled instantly. “Reina saw my portal!”

It’s what the girls think. In this men’s bath, which is about fifty meters away from the women’s bath, majority of the boys here voted that they wanted Richard to open a portal just to peek at the girls. Those who are in favor are General Holster, Rudolf, Richard, Gaz, Cleru and me. Pretty much all of us wanted to peek.

We all have our perverted objectives. Rudolf’s single life is now terminal, so he wanted to enjoy it as possible. Gaz wanted to see Airi’s new matured breast…err body. “Shit!” General Holster exclaimed as soon as a warp in the dimensions opened just beside him, and revealed his wife Iris. Iris is now emitting a strange deathray aura around her.

“You have a hard time controlling that second head of yours, darling. Maybe it’s time to cut it off~” Iris’s words and tone are charming but her sarcastic benevolent smile says otherwise. Before the General makes a useless joke, his wife delivered him to hell’s damnation.

All the other girls entered our hot spring via Reina’s portals. They all had a towel to cover their private parts, which makes this setting go to waste!

“I can’t believe you’re doing this to me, Cleru!” The princess is hiding her expression by bowing, but I can see her clenching her fist with anger. Before Cleru was able to open his mouth and make an alibi, the princess dashed forward and punched him to the face! “Princess Punch!”

Meanwhile there is an intense silence between Richard and Reina. Richard is sweating so much, not because of the hot waters, but because of the boiling water on someone’s head. Suddenly, Reina opened a portal and drew her short sword from hammerspace. Then the rest is history.

Meanwhile, Kyrie is out here searching for Rudolf. Rudolf hid underwater, never to be seen for the rest of the day. He can’t risk his wedding on this case. It’s a much grave matter than any of us. Don’t worry, his mechanical arm can morph into a gas mask so he won’t die.

“You’re a disgrace to your race!” Duchess Corasell sermon at Gaz. “I thought ex-Arcadians like you have honor! And here you are, a peeping tom!”

“I don’t have any particular interest in you.” Gaz turned away. “All I want is big sister Airi’s boobs. And you? You don’t have one. You’re flat.”

“Y-You!” Duchess Corasell had some steam coming out from her ears, and her face red.

Never mind these children. I’m now here to face my own trouble. But…Airi is missing.

“You could’ve just asked me instead” Exceria held her chest with a blush. “You’re a special person to me, so it’s okay.”

“Amphere is so lucky…” The guys in distress muttered. And then the girls continued to punish them.

Suddenly, there was an outburst from above. I pretty much know the voice, maybe more than anyone else.

“AMPHY!!!”

Airi… She’s using her Chimeratech wings to hover from above, and she’s with Jasmine! That darn shrine priestess had her cheeks crimson and her mouth watery. Judging from their altitude and Airi’s attitude, they’re both here not to catch the peeping toms. They are the peeping toms their selves!

“Catch me! Totally!” Airi dematerialized her metallic wings and proceeded to dive forward, breaking the sound barrier!

There was no way I could catch her. The place is so messed and chaotic that the water splashes are obscuring my vision. And I was always caught off guard whenever this happens to me! Everything happened so fast!

The last thing I know is that I got my face dipped on the ‘thing’ between her legs. It was so soft, and the aroma is unbelievably soothing. I got my hands accidentally grab two soft objects. “So you’re awake now.” There was a mild irritation behind Airi’s sarcastic voice. “I heard from the others that all you guys tried to peek on the other girls.”

“Hey, you tried to peek on us also.” I scratched my head with apathy. “We’re just on the same boat.”

“Ho ho ho.” Airi’s sarcasm intensifies. She even had her eyebrows curled due to anger. “Were you trying to peek at Exceria’s big breast?”

“N-No!” I immediately denied. You know that if Airi dropped ‘Totally’ in her sentences, shit’s about to get real.

“Well, Exceria’s willing to give her love to you. She quite likes you a lot. I’m sure that you feel the same way for her too. You even unlocked her Dracaryx on the first week”

“O-Of course not!” I cried. “We’re just bound because of the Eye of Deus, that’s all!”

“What about Duchess Carousel?” It seems like Airi was angrier than usual. “She’s been clinging to you since you get that Black Phantom costume. And now that you’re co-authors of the bill, no one’s gonna stop you from marrying her.”

“She’s a child! I would like to have an age bracket, at least! And for Pete’s sake, it’s Corasell, not Carousel.”

“How about the princess?” Airi crossed her arms. “I heard that you made a deal with each other.”

“Cleru and Princess Elkyria are in love with each other, so I don’t want to poke at that!” I cried again. “I don’t have a liking to the princess the very least. I just wanted her to approve the bill, that’s all!”

Airi is still curling her eyebrows, like a jealous wife seeking for attention. “What about your fans club? There are a lot of girls chasing you nowadays.”

“Why are you throwing random girls at me!?” I exclaimed. I completely regretted it because it made Airi finally snap.

“Because I love you!” She pushed her face forward. “I have confessed my feelings for you a long time ago, and you’re still here unable to give me an answer. Not even a simple yes or no! All I’ve been doing… I have been devoting all my life for you! I’m always having this endless pursuit of love without progress! And now I…”

“I love you too, Airi.” Words came out of my mouth.

“E-Eh?” Airi’s whole face blushed. Her terrifying aura completely faded.

There was a long silence. I have been preparing for my confession for the last months, and ‘Eh?’ is all I can get?

“W-Will you r-repeat that again…totally?”

I can repeat those sentences a hundred times if she wanted. “You’re the only girl for me, Airi. You’ve been here on my side from the very beginning. Through hardships and celebrations. You have never left me. You always saved me. That is why I love you, with all my heart and soul.”

“I-I love you too, Amphy! Totally!” She made the brightest reddest happy face in the whole existence of the universe.

Our face slowly closed together and we had our very first kiss. Her lips are so delicate and tender that makes me want to crave more.

But then Airi totally destroyed the moment when she revealed a recorder that is hidden on her breast. She played the very same words I just released from my mouth.

“You’re the only girl for me, Airi. You’ve been here on my side from the very beginning. Through hardships and celebrations. You have never left me. You always saved me. That is why I love you, with all my heart and soul.”

Airi gave a mischievous grin. “I’ll have this as a proof upon winning the love war against Exceria and Duchess Carousel, totally!”

I feel that I’m the one being blue balled right now.
