Ted started the discussion with an introduction.

"Ladies and gentlemen, these two are our partners for today. What they offer might change everything humanity knows so I personally believe this partnership will be for the best for all of us."

He spoke in an exaggerated manner simply because he would be under fire if this didnt go according to plan.

Alex spoke right after Ted as if he intended to interject but missed the timing.

"Yes, but we are not here for a partnership. I will get that out of the way, we offer you a product. Something you wouldn't normally enjoy."

No matter how good the two looked these men were the best of the best, they would not take such underestimation kindly. Some even snorted, usually its them rejecting partnerships but here they were, an entire board meeting called just to sell a product? What were they? A street stall?

Ted too looked confused but before he could speak Alex continued.

"Yes yes I understand your thoughts so allow us to demonstrate, Laura. I will move us alright?"

Laura nodded and the scenery changed, the table and chairs were still there everyone was still seated but the place around them was a grassland, a vast empty grassland.

Everyone was taking their time to process what just happened but then Alex threw another bomb.

"This place would suit our demonstration, now then, what sort of app is so great that we would specifically arrange all this just to sell it?"

He floated in midair and pointed towards the empty land. A ball shot out and created a hole 5 meters in radius and 3 in depth, ofcourse it wasnt exactly round or even, it was as if someone tossed a giant magma ball at the ground, there was even some glass in the middle.

"The ability to do this would be what we wish to sell, tell me is it worth it?"

He opened his arms grandly, as if signifying the immensity of his act. He then gently floated back down.

Alas all of this was too much to process at once, panic would have been normal if it was something unexpected but this was something no one could ever even hope to expect. It was as if someone showed you all your life was inside some sort of simulation and just carelessly disconnected it.

You dont go to a meeting thinking youd meet two ethereal beings, get told they want to sell you something then randomly get teleported before one of them floats and creates a giant hole in the ground. Such heat isnt possible even for missiles let alone a human being.

Everyone was quiet. Some even pinched themselves or looked as if they had seen God himself. Infact even Ted who somewhat expected this was still boggled.

"Well? Is it?"

Alex asked again, the chairman slapped his cheeks and then spoke up.

"Mr.Alex? Right? Do you intend to sell the ability to do whatever you just did? I am sorry we were told it would be an app so I was expecting something less, extreme."

Alex had to hand it to the man, straight to the point and bravely at that too.

"Yes, I suppose ill explain it, Laura help me with the presentation alright?"

As if this was planned she brought out the laptop she had packed and opened a app, the same app they intended to market. She enlarged the hologram so that everyone could clearly see, funny how not being restricted to a specific screen size made that so much easier.

From everything shown uptill now, a hologram would hardly be surprising anymore.

Alex then continued.

"This is the app we will provide you with, itll be free ofcourse, since what we intend to sell is on the app. Simply the ability I just showed and many more all you need to do is buy them and they are yours. The app will come preinstalled on a phone and as Mr.Ted knows its better than anything your company could produce, for now atleast. Consider it a freebie this time."

As if selling cabbages on a market Alex finished his piece. Inside he was as nervous as a kid to his first day at school so this was the only way he could perform well, by scripting his behavior.

He then teleported in some phones, one for each of the members here right infront of them. They took the phones and as if driven by their curiosity opened the app without even being told to.

The interface was all balack with blue and purple decorations around, the abilities were seperated into colors each with their own tab. Alex got this idea from the app roulette, the color scheme followed the same pattern. Each ability had a small description stolen straight from the app and a buy option, not too complex but still gave off a mystic feeling.

Alex continued explaining how the app worked. It was essentially a sort of proxy for the Emperor's Subjection ability while the software managed the bit about controlling who to give what ability. It probably worked on a similar principal as the app the two use, they just had pricier things because they knew exactly what the value of these abilities were, for normal humans.

"So that concludes our presentation, Now for what we offer. The phone is a freebie while the abilities will be bought, so why did we call this meeting? We simply wanted you guys to connect us. Laura I know you arent good with people but could you explain the rest?"

Laura nodded, she took a while to start speaking as if she was practicing what to say in her head. It helped having a very very slowed down sense of perception, finally she spoke.

"I will try brother.. Everyone, what my brother means to say is that we simply want you guys to connect us to the other elite such as yourself, we intend to sell the phone to them with the app on it. It would be unfair to you if you work for us and only receive the same benefits as every other customer so we intend to give you 10% off on all the abilites you purchase, I am sure saving millions is a worthy venture right?"

She let out a heavy sigh, her words sounded mechanical. She had only repeated what she practiced many times in her head after all.

Meanwhile Alex had called over Mercer, He had promised after all. He then took over the conversation again and finished the arrangements. They talked about who they were meant to connect the siblings to, how and when as well as where. It didnt cost them much either so they were happy to do this, to them receiving the app was benefit enough especially if it came coupled with a connection to its creator.

They had finished the talks and were now back in the office, enjoying tea. The staff wouldnt disturb the room unless called for so no one noticed the earlier teleportation.

Alex then had a staff member call Mercer in, he had also changed his face into its common appearance surprising everyone who still stayed quiet they were beyond being shocked after all that happened. Honestly Mercer had thought he would be driving Alex to the venue and did not expect to just be called over.

In hindesight that would have been more efficient but oh well, they couldnt control time that well currently.

"This is my friend Mercer, I am sure Mr.Ted knows him please use him to contact us if any of you ever need to."

Essentially Alex had turned Ted and Mercer into very important contacts with just a single sentence.

Ted obviously was a high ranking member so it didnt matter much to him, he had already figured out that there was no company behind the two so he was still grateful but Mercer who did not know the exact deal that happened just assumed it was some sort of partnership with the company behind Alex and doodle, regardless he now had a chance to connect with the doodle upper brass.

He really thanked his lucky stars he had the foresight or rather the instinct to befriend Alex. He then noticed Laura by his side, as if understanding or misunderstanding something he nodded at him. Really this would probably save him from a lot of hardship

It wasnt as if he wasnt stunned by her beauty but the shock of having a direct connection to the doodle stockholders numbed any form of beauty, not to mention he didnt really properly look at her either. It would be rude to gawk at his benefactors 'girlfriend' right?

"Mr.Alex alright, please be at ease, I will personally complete the task you have given us. Mr.Mercer please give us your contact details we will be talking frequently."

Mercer professionally presented his details and the siblings left the office, Alex had already put back his natural appearance while exiting the room, he had his back to Mercer so he did not notice. Essentially the work was done, later that day the two had their first customer. The ability bought was something similar to flight, for around 10 million in dollars.

The two had already decided that they would change the prices based on usage statistics but for now that'll do.

This customer as if flipping some sort of switch had started a chain reaction and soon they amassed around 1 billion in dollars from different people. This would probably be the largest boom until they get new customers.

Tomorrow they could buy themselves a better house if they were so inclined. Infact thinking about it, a large mansion wasn't really that useful was it? All a person could need was a few extra rooms and maybe a swimming pool for when you feel like relaxing.

A few dozen extra rooms would just be inefficient but then again they do need somewhere for everything they will be getting, so perhaps buying land and building on it would suit them better. Not to mention humans have an inherent sense of vanity, if you can get a giant mansion why not get it? The money itself wouldnt really be useful either right?

Alex made a call to Mercer, if he needed someone with connections to realestate experts then Mercer was definitely his man. He asked about how things went today and after a few pleasantries asked about whether he knows of any large plots of land for sale.

There were none in the city but there was an old run down mansion up for grabs, The price was around 400 million. He didn't know if this was cheap or expensive but who cares he had a billion now might as well give his family a luxurious life right?

He arranged a meeting with the agent and drove there.

Meanwhile Laura was doing her own thing, she decided to fiddle with the app. People had sent both her and Alex a message before, why couldnt she right?

She looked around and finally found a way to contact others using the app, it would select a random user and connect them with the user for a price ofcourse.

The price wasnt too high so she tried it.
