Laura clearly had a better harvest but then again the two could only truly use one of these if any at all to change their own bloodline, the other 5 would be wasted.

The space shifting wolf or the Evil dragon seemed to be the best selections but each creature had its own unique attraction, for example the Infinite Flesh doll. Never dying is always attractive to those who can die.

Laura then took the Red box and opened it, inside was a dark space. She assumed it had something to do with space considering the number of spacial creatures that were mentioned.

She then stuck her hand inside the box, she was unable to feel her hand anymore as if it was paralyzed. She attempted to move it around but the lack of air made it feel as if it wasnt moving at all. She made a passive complaint about how it would be nicer if there was some sort of manual for the box, she suddenly felt paperish texture on her hand.

She grabbed it and pulled it out and it was another one of those slips the system so loved to use. She put it on her forehead and by the time she gout out of her daze Alex had come back from safely putting away his boxes.

The box apparently was a space container, it could contain upto 4 things regardless of their size and shape as the concept of 'dimensions' was different inside the box. The item could be taken out by thinking about it, time was not added to the box so anything inside would remain the same until after its taken out.

The question now was what to do with the blood. They thought about it, they werent biologists and learning about biology from scratch would take too much time and it might not even help them as these creatures werent something modern biology could explain.

They could always do what they did with programming and get a manual from the future but these creatures probably never made human contact so a manual wouldnt help at all. The tools could probably provide some sort of help.

Their thoughts were again interrupted by a notification from the app.

We hope you have a good time finding out the properties of these magical creatures! Do not ingest the blood directly as you will most likely die. - Pre recorded message from the administration"]

Well in any case the basic problem of what to do with the blood still remained but if they could synthesize enough, maybe something from the apocalyptic market would be able to change their blood? Blood transfusion should be fairly common and she remembered seeing something related to it once before

She checked again and she was right a device costing around 30,000 Apts named "Not my son" was up for sale. She really wondered who came up with this name. She then told Alex about the device and he too checked it

Not my son 30,000 Apts This device is used to synthesize a DNA type and infuse it into the user. The device was meant for parents who couldnt get a child through natural means. The device was banned after the richest person during that time Bill Windows went bankrupt due to inheritence issues with too many people claiming to be his child and lawsuits due to child negligence.

That was one stupid way to go bankrupt. Then again Laura could understand why, after all how do you tell your real child apart from the fake ones when even DNA tests said they were yours?

This device was perfect for their needs and her brother had enough cash to get enough points. She was still unsure where he got the money but she assumed it had to do with the time he came home battered up.

She still didnt want to change her species to the ones available when she knew there were better ones obtainable. In this respect Alex came up with a solution. He suggested refining the blood to that of their parents by isolating that specific blood. This way if nothing else they would get atleast the Endless Void Wolf as they had the blood of its direct child

Laura took inspiration from that and said

"Brother why not mix similar lineages and refine them? We could then isolate the black level blood from them too? Would it not be possible considering that the app treats the blood as a mix of several distinct ones?"

Alex got a large grin thinking about being able to eat planets for a snack as a dragon or maybe he would travel the universe forever as a void wolf. He then pat his sister causing her to smile and said

"Alright lets do it, we just need 30,000 Apts right? I always wanted to do an experiment with what we can feed the app. Lets go to the super store"

Laura barely left the house but this time she agreed to go with Alex, she too wished to see what is acceptable to the app and what is not.

The two left home and walked towards the store, it was already dark out.

Alex had a pretty busy day but the thoughts of being able to teleport just wouldnt let him rest. The two continued onwards when they heard a scream, night time was always dangerous and this hasnt changed even today. The two wished to help like any other human but they also knew they weren't saviors they couldnt go around the streets at night being Mr.Justice.

The two turned their head towards the scream, they saw a bunch of ruffians surrounding a middle aged man and a girl who seemed like she was in highschool.

'Compensated dating?'

Was their first thought seeing this. Why else would a middle aged man take a girl the age of his daughter to an alley? Still it looked like things went wrong and Laura nodded to Alex, regardless of their sexual preferences they still didnt deserve to be ignored after all a victimless crime was not a crime, the two were old enough to know what they were doing.

He darted towards the screams and the thugs noticed him, one of the thugs looked at him and said

"Kid we aren't having a party here"

His eyes darted back to Laura who was just standing there looking at Alex, he figured the two have a connection and added

"But if you want in, bring that lass over here, we will let you do this bitch here once."

Alex really didnt understand why they assumed he wanted to 'get in'. Wouldnt thugs normally think he is trying to be a hero? What has happened to the morals in today society when even random passerbys join in gang rape.

"and if i dont?"

Replied Alex, he then looked over to one of the thugs in the back and recognized him as the very first one he beat up with the Ray fiasco.

The guy was busy beating up the fallen middle aged man and a few were attempting to undress the girl behind him while she struggled.

The thug pointed towards the man and girl and said

"Join us or join them, your choice. Either way that lovely lass behind you will be dinner"

Alex just ignored him and walked to the guys undressing the girl. Talking to the thug would just be wasteful banter which would only mean the girl gets raped while he talks.

He stepped up to the closest one and punched him. The guy flew a bit and hit the wall, this got the attention of everyone else and the thug who was once beaten up by Alex looked at him. He looked at the thug on the ground then back at Alex and seemed to realize who he was.

"Guys lets go, I dont want to mess with this guy again."

He talked to his fellow thugs, a few of which were even 2nd generation rich men. They feared no one especially not the police. They looked at the thug on the ground and turned cautious, one of them stepped up.

"Friend that guy over there was just joking, we wouldnt try to force your friend, She can leave and infact if you wish you can join us. This girl looks good right? have the first go at her we wont mind"

They werent afraid of any form of authority but he had strength, if they could avoid making enemies by letting him join then they would gladly do so. They thought they would probably overpower him with numbers but it didnt hurt to have less injuries right? This guy seemed like he packed a heavy punch too.

Alex ignored him and punched the other guys away from both the man and the girl, he was fast so the guy who just spoke got scared.

"Friend alright, if you want her to yourself please take her we can go find another one"

A whore thinks everyone is shameless, this guy still assumed Alex just wanted to do the girl alone and he figured he could find another with his friends there was no need to get in conflict with a guy who just punched 3 guys in an instant

Alex having saved the girl and the man, looked at the guy speaking for the thugs.

"So you think I want her?"

The thug felt it would be wrong to nod so he just stayed silent

"Alright listen, I had a pretty long day alright? I am tired and now I see you guys pulling this shit, tell me should I even let you guys live?"

The thug grew scared but being a rich guy he had plenty of cards to play.

"If you kill me, my dad will have you and your entire family killed. Be reasonable and let us leave you can play the hero and we walk away without grudges"

Alex never really considered the authorities anymore, sure the mafia is scary, the police is scary but are they worse than nukes? The frequent mention of planet devouring creatures numbed him to threats of this level. He didnt intend to kill but it looked like he would need to.

Even if he didnt these people would hold a grudge and come after his family all the same.

Life is funny, a while ago he was puking over his first murder and now he didnt really consider it a big deal anymore. Once or twice didnt matter if it has happened. He just didnt wish to show Laura and hoped she wouldnt have to kill either.

"Your dad huh? Who is he then?"

This gave the thug a ray of hope, perhaps the influence would scare him off. If it works well and he is scared enough he might even get another girl for tonight

"He is actually the Mayor of this town, dont believe me right? Here is proof"

He took out a picture on his phone of him and his 'dad' holding up a fish. Seemed like a fishing trip picture although the boy looked a bit younger.

"I see, the mayor. So am I supposed to be scared?"
