Well it still sounded better than human so although sad he didnt get the grand prize thinking about it, the chances for something like that to happen would be negligible. He might as well take a 4 leave clover to a lottery booth and hope to win a trillion dollars. Even the marketplace didnt have anything for luck, it wasn't something you can measure.

Strength? sure lift a heavy object, processing speed? sure calculate something. Intelligence? Sure solve a few problems. Luck? Sometimes its there as if you are heaven's own son and other times you might as well have a black cat side step repeatedly infront of you.

He clicked yes. It sounded cool but he had zero clue about what it actually is.

The heavenly serpent, Creature code C10 Designation Red, The creature has a thick heavenly dragon bloodline. Its bloodline can be traced back to the primordial dragon. Is attuned to magic that can stop atomic movement or energy emission

He had no idea what C10 meant but he assumed it wasnt too shabby with something like heavenly in its name, the ability seemed pretty overpowered too. Red was average in terms of rarity so he wasnt too surprised he won it but the ability itself was surprising.

You could say it had the ability to freeze things and control radiation. Light itself is a form of radiation too. It wouldnt let him create lethal radiations atleast without the proper radioactive materials but with them he could probably create a reaction similar to a nuclear explosion so all in all Alex was delighted by it.

He spun the wheel again. This time it didnt even stop near the black sections, it stopped on a purple section and a notification popped up

It seemed like the marketplace app either had too many draconic creatures or the draconic creatures loved him, It was only second to black level sections so it could be considered as pretty rare. He clicked yes again

Evil Dragon, Creature code A26 Designation Violet, The creature has a thick Apocalyptic Dragon bloodline and a thin primordial one. Has a very fine control over the concept of null or empty. Has the ability to impose or reverse said state and is often related to the disappearance of heavenly bodies

The previous creature sounded straight out of a fantasy novel but this one just took that to an intergalactic level. The shade of its color wasnt even the closest one to black on the wheel but still it looked like a top level creature, perhaps the apocalyptic dragon would be the best purple creature? If its blood could create such a monster it ought to be.

He made up his mind and gulped down his saliva, it was his last try and he hoped for any of the black level creatures. The siblings intended to become strong and the stronger the creature they can get the better, even if they cant do what they intend to they could still research their blood and maybe steal a portion of their ability.

For some of these creatures even time was a concept, immortality didnt even seem to be a big deal when looking at these mythical beings. Ironic considering how hard his own species is trying to obtain it. A portion of such godly might would be enough to let them rule earth although they had no intention to be king.

A king maybe seem a impressive title but taken with might its just responsibility upon responsibility with no one to truly take the

burden, they would much rather have their freedom not like any king could control them anyway if they become that powerful.

He clicked yes again, he was pretty disappointed at the color. The shade leaned towards white too so he didnt hold high expectations. The average color would be orange if one judged solely based on space each color took on the wheel. The colors were white, yellow, orange, red, crimson red, Dark pink, violet, black. From common to rare and probably from weak to stronger.

The rarer the color the less space it took so orange being the average color could be considered accurate. The two white colored ones alone took 25% of the wheel.

Red Salamander, Creature code F534 Designation Yellow. The creature is the distant offspring of the Heavenly serpent with a slight relation to a Red Eater, which is also a distant relative to the Devouring Beast. The bloodline has been diluted to the point its innate abilities are only slightly better than humans. Fairly weak on its own hence works in packs.

He was severely disappointed but he knew he should be satisfied with the previous two bloodlines, Hoping that Laura won herself a black section he picked up the 3 boxes that popped up. He assumed they had the blood vials and conveniently they were colored to match the vials inside or so thats what he thought seeing their colors.

He carefully placed the boxes in a safe place and then turned to Laura who also seemed like she was done with her lottery.

She seemed to be pretty happy with her winnings.

While Alex was spinning the wheel a while ago Laura too had her own tries.

The first time she spun the wheel she got a pretty decent shade of Violet. The explanation offered by the system was

This alone was better in rarity than anything Alex got, she too was pretty happy with it. If she could somehow gain this bloodline she wouldn't need to worry about safety anymore. No one could harm her but instead everyone would praise her for her benevolence if she didnt harm them. Nukes? No problem. She doubted anything she could purchase on the market could even hurt her anymore but then again.

The marketplace was pretty mysterious, items they had bought uptil now werent even one of the more expensive ones and they still were pretty overpowered on their own. The immortals could probably muster a certain level of power too while the apocalyptic side already had the power to wage intergalactic wars. Earth aside most colonies on other planets were still intact, they may have abandoned Earth but it was probably because it wasnt worth the effort.

After all any civilization capable of colonizing and waging wars across even a single galaxy wouldnt think of a single planet as anything important, Earth held sentimental value but that was all. There were bigger and richer planets besides no one wished to resume the war for the 'holy land' of humans all of this led to Earth being abandoned.

Ofcourse Laura didnt know this but she could still guess some of it because any normal human would think 'why did a civilization capable of so much abandon earth for such a simple reason' when they hear about it.

She did not know the full extent to the powers each side held but she assumed that at the very least if this blood alone could make her invincible it wouldnt be her turn to get it. The app itself would have used it. The fact that it was given away like this meant that they had better stuff than even the black creatures or held some form of hidden agenda.

She had regular contact with that side so she had learnt a few things. Infact she assumed the other sides of the app were alternative universes as the apocalyptic planet was named Earth too.

The other two creatures were.

Infinite Flesh doll, Class B16 Designation Dark pink, A 2nd generation descendant of the Devouring Beast. Combat abilities are weak but has the ability of true immortality, It can never be killed as it has the same regenerative ability as its ancestor Void Devourer, Class D1 Designation Red. Can steal some of the ability of the creature it devours, has a tendency of hiding in an alternate dimension using its command over space to ambush prey. Has a blood relation to the Glutton Fox and Timless Ant
