《Tremors Of Time: Spirit Gauntlet》Chapter 15

A ding sound telling me of my level UP resounds in my ear as I kill the little buggers surrounding me. Choosing to ignore the level UP, I pull one of the coals which I've nicknamed heat stones out of my inventory to regenerate my lost vibrations."Sonar Toggle on" instantly I have a 360 view of my mind spanning 5 meters I instantly shorten it to a foot. When my sonar hit level two it gained the ability to shorten the field and it would decrease the cost of having it toggled it on.
With the sonar I sense a fire imp raising its rusty iron sword and stabbing me in the back. Going a bit too slow the rusty grazes me causing me to lose 5 points of HP. I direct my attention to the offender and killed him with one swoop to his head. Seeing a chance the crowd of Fire imps attacked me in all directions, leaving me with no choice but to use up the last of my vibe. I Swing my sword in 360 spin thankfully blocking the imps around me. I Then ran as if the devil was on my tail.
After the incident I ran for three minutes and stopped to take a breath I looked back to see If any of the bastards followed me"How did I get myself into this mess" I said to no one in particular, dropping down in physical and mental exhaustion.
---------------------- 3 Hours Ago ----------------------
"Don when we were in the smithy you said that I could keep the first sword and I could get information?" I asked Don
"Yes, I suppose I did say that, well, first of all, what would you like to know?" He asked with rushed tone of voice
I thought for a moment and thought of the one thing I would want or need to know. "What is a leveling area for a low level," I asked with a hopeful voice.
Don looked at me questioningly "Levels?"
"You know levels make you stronger and stuff," I asked with a confused tilt of my head.
"Axe, what the hell are you talking about," Don said with a slightly robotic voice.

"Don, watch your mouth," Wait could NPCs not know about levels than what should I say.
"You know uh, places to get stronger," I think that should get my point across.
"Hmm," said don, scratching his stubble. "You mean danger zones,"
"What are danger zones," I asked.
"Well you see places with abundance of monsters have ranks from -F to SSS+ and from looking at you, your probably -F no offense," Said don
Congratulations you have gained Information of the ranking system of the world Info Saved under System in Help
"No offense taken, but yeah that's what I meant. So would you know of a place that would help me get stronger?" I asked expectantly.
"Yeah, I know of a good one I'll show it to ya, follow me," He said opening the door and motioning me to come.
"Yeah just wait for a second, Mam when will the cape be finished?" I asked the tailor.
"It should be done, at most tomorrow," Said Garcia.
"Thank you, mam," I said in high spirits.
"Your welcome, have a nice day," With that, I followed Don downstairs to the smithy. The first time I came through these stairs I didn't think much of them, but now that I look at them more. They seem to be made of really old stone bricks, emphasis on the old, the stairs are only wide enough for one person to have some spare room but not much else. From all of this, I gathered that these stairs and maybe even the smithy was used for something else a long time ago. "I wonder what this was before," I wondered out loud.
"Huh, you're talking to me" Said, Don, as he opened the door to the smithy.
"No, Just thinking out loud," I said to Don. He simply shook his head and walked to his enchanting station. God, what is with this insufferable heat, it can't possibly be natural. Maybe it's because all of the metal work happening here. No that can't be it, that still wouldn't explain this much heat.
"Axe!"
"What," I said startled.
"You just started Daydreaming and wouldn't listen, anyway it doesn't matter. Let me get back to what I was saying. When I was first looking for a place to build a smithy I needed someplace with easily available energy to power my supplies. Eventually, after some looking, I found a place with a large amount of energy, usually when places have this much energy your forced by law to report but I didn't, why because screw them ." He said smiling devilishly at the memory of it.

"So I chose to go on top of a place with a suspiciously large amount of energy, for the first few years things were going great but when one of my workers dug a bit too deep when building an attachment for a forge. Things went bad quickly, it turned out the reason for a large amount of energy was because there was an extremely old prison that turned into a low ranking dungeon underneath my shop. When the little shit stains of an imp found out I was stealing energy they made some kind of special relics to stop the energy from leaving. It's not like I could put a letter for the adventurer guild I'll get reported and I can't-do it, I'm a blacksmith, not a sword-wielding maniac." He said with an embarrassed voice.

"That Is when you come in, though this place is a little too high of a rank for you if you decide to go there and destroy the relics, you can get stronger fast and get me into your debt. Thankfully I had someone scout out all the floors if such a need came they couldn't find the relics but everything is mapped. I then gave the scout some hush money to keep his blabbering mouth down, but that's, not your problem," He said giving me a wink.
E+ Quest Destroy the nuisance Don has offered you a job to destroy the 5 Imp Relics If you accept quest you will get 30000 EXP, 2 gold,70% discount from Don, and Increased favorability AFTER COMPLETION If you don't accept his offer you'll get banned from his shop and favorability to you will drop down to hostile Y/N
This seems like a no-brainer. "Of course I would your offer," Giving him a similar wink. He then approved my wink with another devilish grin.
"Then follow me," He said stifling a laugh. He then walked to what almost definitely his personal forge with a painted picture of the grand opening of his shop Hung on the wall. He then moved the painting and lightly put it on the ground. To reveal a set of stairs below.
"This is where you go in and I wait, oh and before I forget it here's the map to the dungeon," he said presenting me pulling a crumpled up map from his pocket and my sword!!
"Why thank you," I said grabbing the map and my sword. After that, I went down the stairs fast as I could ready to get this done and kill some mobs. Which I then fell down, dammit why didn't I bring a torch or something. "Sonar," Now able to see I resume my pace down the stairs. After 30 seconds I see a door made of rotten wood, I stretch my hand to open the door. When a notification cuts me off.
Skill Sonar has leveled up! Sonar has gained the mode Short Range use mode to get range 1 ft while cost goes to 20 seconds per vibration To activate say Sonar: Short Range
I Swipe the notification after reading it. "Sonar Short Range," My view then shorten to 1 ft, causing me to lose my footing and stumble falling on the door to reveal a goblin look-alike with red skin.
