《Tremors Of Time: Spirit Gauntlet》Chapter 14 Vibrations Ruler!

The Irritating Owner brought me into his shop which turned out to look like a standard blacksmith shop the weapons were put inside see through counters and the counters were put in the straight line in front of a door that probably led to the forge. The weapons such as longswords, katanas, daggers, lances, and broadswords were separated into categories depending on what of weapon they are. The Armor was pieced together and put on stands to show them off while shields were put on the walls and ceilings.
Click, a sound resounded in the room and in a few seconds lights were on. It took me another few seconds to refocus my eyes to realize the lights were coming from what looked like a crystal stick with multiple extremely small scratches. "What was that?" I asked Don.
"There a Mana Senser stuck to the ceiling, by sending energy to the sensor constantly it will light up," He said in a cold tone while pointing at the stick. Wait did he just lose his accent
"How do you send mana constantly to the energy sensor?" I asked choosing to not care about his voice change.
"Well you see that was easy and hard, the easy part was the fuel for the energy sensor. I"ll tell you about that later, what was hard though was to find a material that could allow the energy to pass through it. Eventually, we realized that we could what we've always been using for weaponry, literally almost any metal. The reason why the first one was easy is because of a little object called energy container it's a little cylinder container with yellow top and bottom with multiple inscriptions on it to contain energy." He said as he pointed at a little cylinder filled with blue gas next to the shop entrance." When the container gets enough mana you'll hear a sound after that light comes on" He said ending the conversation.
After the unexpected Knowledge, he brought my behind the counter, guided me to a door, once he opened the door a dimly lit stone stairway leading underground came into my view. If this was a horror novel this is where I would die but it's not, ba dum tss. God, I really am becoming cringy as hell. As I descended the stone stairway the heat seemed to increase exponentially. At the end of the stairway, I could see multiple bulky men hammering hard at work at a furnace smithing an innumerable amount of things.

Instantaneously cools down to a bearable degree, I heave a sigh of relief.
"Sullivan, get the bastard next to me dressed in proper work clothing and bring him to my station," said Don in a rough voice. Wait why is the accent back.

"Yes, Boss," said one of the bulky men near me. The Bulky man known as Sullivan said to follow him and I gave him a nod of understanding and followed him as he led into a corner of the huge room. In the corner of the room lied a huge pile of uniform clothes consisting of only huge aprons and gloves
"Um Mr.Sullivan, there doesn't seem to be a uniform matching my size,"I asked wearily of his rough appearance.
"Just put them and say I'm ready once they are on," He says crossing his arms and giving me a stern look.
"Understood," I said choosing to not test his patience and started putting on a random set of gloves and apron. "I'm ready" the gloves and apron immediately shrunk to a perfect size. I wanted to inspect the outfit but Sullivan interrupted me by pulling me by the arms to a station with Don, he left to get back to smithing as soon as we were near the owner.
"Now that you're here let me tell you the only reason you can be my assistant," He said while pointing at a bigger version of the mana container from before but empty and with a long rubber tube inserted into it with a small sharp piece of metal on the end. "I use this thing here to inscribe weapons with mana but I need the energy container full to do it I can't fill it because I need my mana to control the mana flowing out of the container. Usually, I would have one of my workers do it but as you see they're busy with a large order we got. That is when you come in you fill in the mana," He said expecting me to fill the mana in right now.
"Well sir, I use something else instead of mana and it's out right now," I said trying to find a way out of this.
"Who cares, we don't particularly need mana anyway as long as it's some form of energy. The problem is how long do you think it will take for you to regenerate it."
"I don't naturally regenerate it, I just need a warm object. to absorb heat from the hotter the better."
"Well I have something for that," Don said and then bent down and took a hot piece of coal from the furnace.
"The scene seems familiar," I thought as he tossed the coal to me. I almost dropped it but I then realized the coal piece wasn't hurting me, I could feel the heat but it didn't hurt me.
Don must've caught my curious gaze because he then told me that the gloves have a heat resistance enchant on them and then told me to hurry the hell up afterward. Not really needing anymore vibration I store the coal in my inventory for later. I put my hands on the container and proceeded to try to divert some of my Energy inside the container. It seemed hopeless, the vibration inside me wouldn't move when I realized the owner was looking at my hands as if was confused about what I was doing.
"What," I asked him.

"You do know you're supposed to put your hands on the top and it will automatically absorb your energy," Said Don.
"Yes, yes I know that," I said embarrassed putting my hands on the top of the container. As if the energy was waiting for this, it flowed out of my hands nonstop, a ding sound escaped the container when my vibration had 2 points left. I took my hands off the top and told Don that it was full, he rushed to the handle of the sharp object and started inscribing the sword with runes. The runes looked like a mix of ancient Egyptian glyphs and Greek letters and numbers, altogether the mixture gave the runes a mystic feel to them. As soon as he was done the finished runes started pulsing with black and red colors.
Causing the surroundings to be cast in horrifying lights, when finished the sword had only a little of the light it once had and even that dimmed to an extremely hard to see a glow. As soon as I regained my senses I inspected the sword.

I pressed yes and the following information sent me on a train of surprises.
Name: Vibrations Ruler Requirement: Vibration Stat Type Longsword Spirt Equipment Bonded: Excel the Spirit gauntlet Level: 1 Strength: 10 Vibrations: 10 Skills: Influence{} Description: First sword to have been enchanted with the power of vibration therefore given the power to evolve into a companion of an avenger
"Why is this weapon so pathetically weak but yet I can feel an aura of power emanating off of it," He said once again losing his accent and looking at me interested."When I inspected this, it had 0 attributes, needless to say, that's almost certainly wrong but what I can accurately tell is that this weapon is bonded to you!" He said with interest only growing as he spoke with his hands in the air directed towards me, hands open."If you let me redo what we just did I'll allow you to know one thing per your wish and you get to keep this weapon?" He said while rubbing the longsword lovingly with a glint of fanaticism hidden in his eyes.
"Y y y ess," I said meekly feeling scared out of my wits.
We then repeated the situation from before though I did have to regenerate my vibration. Surprisingly the piece of coal held 200 points of vibration so I could use it for later. I once again filled the container and with even more eagerness Don started to inscribe another longsword. Once finished the inscriptions once again started glowing but this time the glow was a speck of light compared to the light show of before. I once again Inspected the sword and the skill that appeared.

Sharpened lv MAX
Description: By a special power the sword is able to get stronger depending on the quality of the blade.
Effect: Once fully sharpened plus 20% strength
I looked at Don to see his reaction and his expression at the time was enough to scare the devil. His lips were stretched out as far as he could and his teeth were gnashed together in frustration. If I listened carefully I could hear him mumble that he did the same exact thing why was it different over and over again in delirium.
"Hello Mr. Ganner you there," I asked as my wit took a vacation.
"Yes, Yes, sorry about that here's the sword let me bring you, to my mom," he said embarrassed giving me Vibratation Ruler. He then motioned for me to follow him which I readily did after putting the sword into my inventory. We went out of the burning forge and went upstairs to skipping the entrance, and kept walking up the stairs seeing another door. Don opened it to reveal his mom using a wolf fur to make a cloak. Wait is that the same wolf fur, that son of a.
"Mom, this guy said he wanted to talk to you," With a loving tone.
"Don, be a dear and get some tea for our guest," Said Mrs.Garcia. "Now I hope he didn't cause you trouble, do you have the furs,"
"Yes mam, I have the furs on me but I have to ask you that wolf fur that you have did a guard give it you!" I asked with anger rising.
"Yes actually, he was one of the weakest guards he has a bad reputation but it was a joyous occasion for him so I offered to make it into a cloak for him," She said with confusion.
"Well, when I came back from the forest they wouldn't let me in until I gave them a wolf fur" My anger blowing out of my ears as I clenched my hands.
"That makes more sense than that guard killing a Corrupted Wolf, okay I'll believe you but just to sure give me the rabbit fur," She said Now understanding the situation.
"Thank you so much, mam," I said taking the fur out of my inventory and handing it to her
Quest Rabbit fur for Trailor Finished

"Since you've done as I've asked I'll give you a silver and you can keep the map since you've had to deal with my son you can keep one equipment from him, I hope thats enough," Said Mrs.Garcia.
"Yes that is mam, but I have to ask if you can make a cloak for me with that wolf fur," I said hopefully.
"Consider it done," She said with a hearty laugh. This must be the intimacy boost at work. Then a few seconds Don walks in with some tea, thinking that this was a perfect time to ask him where I can find a training ground.

Old Riding Author Lunatic Asylum
Just off the A19, in the dark, incomprehensible lands known as Yorkshire, there lies a town. A town where shadow-silent alleys glint with the secret hunger of knives. Where blood soaks the chipboard window shutters of forsaken terraces stretching off into the night. Where the smog-choked air rattles with the depraved laughter echoing out from clubs that can only generously be described as post-apocalyptic. Well, that’s Middlesbrough. But down the A19 a bit (an impossibly long way down, actually) there lies another town: Raughnen, in the ancient, forgotten Old Riding. It is an equal match in muggery and thuggery alike. It also has magic spells and pointy wizard hats. And now, across the miles and across all sensibilities, a pretty nasty power (a magic one) calls out for its pretty nasty counterpart (a decidedly unmagic one): a proper sound Boro lad. Nothing good can come of it. This is a collection of one novella and four connected short stories: I. A Yorkshire Summoning II. Old Riding Day Trip (the novella) III. Heaven is a Parmo IV. Death on the 66 V. Death on the 257 In total, this comprises 34 chapters totalling around 35,000 words, so try not to worry. It will be over relatively quickly. There are three more short stories with more tenuous links to the core collection: Rush, Paper Round and Scenario 79: Sausage Fingers, all of which can be found in my collection Short Records of Misadventure. Reading these may allow you to make more sense of certain parts of the story, if any sense is to be made at all. NOTE: There are instances of prejudice and discrimination within these stories, including elements of sexism and ageism, which are purely the thoughts and actions of the characters involved and which certainly do not reflect my own views on these matters. ANOTHER NOTE; A WARNING, PERHAPS: This can get a bit weird. In less than 150 pages, we have four viewpoints, first and third person narratives, and a completely disjointed plot with lots of gaps, dead ends and no real resolution. Also ZERO lunatic asylums. It's all a bit odd. If that sort of thing isn't your cup of tea, which it most likely isn't, it might be best to move on now.
