《A Battle of Eyes Against the Gods》Chapter 3 - Two Years to Change Fate pt1

Even though it took five hours, only a moment passed for Jin as he woke up covered in a cold sweat. Pitch black eyes that shone like onyx gems now filled with a scarlet light, a single tomoe dancing around his pupil as he examined his room with new clarity. Seeing the grains of the wood and even counting threads on his blanket. It would be a lie if he said he wasn't enjoying it. Along with his new eyes came knowledge of how they worked as well as how to activate and deactivate them at will.
Searching through the store, he purchased a hand mirror since it was one of the free items as well as a new outfit including an Akatsuki windbreaker with the Sword of Kusanagi Sasuke used as a weapon missing to bring the whole thing together since it cost 50-SP which made him confused if it was expensive or cheap. Then again, considering the only noticeable trait of the sword was just its sharpness and durability, it wasn't worth much compared to Kisame's Samahada which would be able to absorb the profound energy of people it touches.
Looking at himself in the mirror, Jin could already see his cheeks spasm in annoyance. It was no wonder everyone kept mistaking him for a girl with a face like this. He already knew it was going to be feminine, but right now there was virtually no difference between him and a beauty with the way his hair fell around his face in addition to the fact it was ankle length and as smooth as velvet with a shine that put marble to shame. Add in his eyes and you would have a perfect doll despite his height of 182 centimeters, though said doll would have a bright red glow in the evening sun that added a touch of divinity to its looks.
Shutting down his new eyes, they returned to their normal gem like onyx black as he put the mirror down on the bed and felt the sweat sticking to him, letting out a wry smile as he headed out and found the girl hostess. “I guess I'll be taking that water today after all. And do you have any scissors I can use?”
Despite her confusion at the latter portion of his request, he still obtained the items after paying for the water and promising to return the scissors. His ears picking up on a few customers who were talking out loud about the fourteenth birthday of the young miss of the Xia family which he took note of since it gave him a time frame to understand when in the story he arrived since Qingyue got married when she was around 16. Upon returning to his room, the first thing he did was take off his old clothes and throw them into a corner of the room before taking a cloth and wiping his body down. Taking the scissors, he began cutting his hair until the back reached his waist before binding it with a cloth ribbon into a low ponytail that would be used as a whip if he turned his head too quickly, while the front framed his face coming down to just past his chin. The majority of his locks flowing freely towards his shoulders and the longer ones reaching his chest after shaking it out, allowing the hair to settle where natural.

Feeling refreshed, he put on the outfit he got from the system. A pair of black boots with white pants that didn't obstruct his movement, a red robe with golden yellow maple leaves and a blue waist cloth to bind it with, as well as a black form fitting sleeveless shirt and black glove sleeves that went up just past his elbow while leaving his palms and fingers exposed for use. Jin deciding to wear the robe but left one arm out of it and allowing the right side to fall at his waist while the left which held his money remained covering its side.
It was a good outfit, good enough to be his regular thing even if he was using Ninjutsu for the foreseeable future. Adding the windbreaker as something to take off when he needs to get serious.
'Speaking of getting serious, I can't keep my power as it is. I don't have a single drop of profound energy and while I know the steps to master a few jutsu without having to undo the restrictions on the system, it's pointless if I don't have the energy to try.'
Taking a seat on his bed, Jin went over what he knew from the book about cultivating the profound. 'The first step is similar to cultivating chakra in that you take vitality from yourself. The difference being that while you would mix the physical energy extracted from your body and mix it with your spiritual energy to obtain chakra, you would pour the extracted vitality into your profound veins where it would change into sparse profound energy at a slow rate. Once this is done, you simply keep doing it until the veins are full which would be the Elementary Profound Realm.'
Nodding to himself which was starting to become a habit, he began to meditate and look inside himself. The outside world faded away as a inner vision became clearer. Taking a look around, the first thing that he noticed was his 54 profound entrances were all completely opened. This being the condition for Heavenly God's Spiritual Veins, which he considered normal given that his body was crafted instead of born like normal people.
However, there was one thing inside his Profound Veins that did confuse him. The center trunk that wasn't connected to the outside had nine marble shaped holes with a faint feeling of static as well as a breeze coming from them, the first of these marbles slightly stronger than the rest but it was still hard to grasp. Since it was something he couldn't understand, he did the only thing he could and asked someone who did.
“Raven, do you know what's wrong with my profound veins? There are weird openings in the main part.”
"Yes. Host has discovered the reward for his choice in the ultimate decision, Wind and Lightning Secret Profound Arts. As you remember, the Evil God profound veins in this world had Evil God Arts. The creator decided that it wanted you to have something just as good if not better. The other rewards have already been active except Serenity do to lack of being pressured.

The Wind and Lightning Arts manifest as nine inner gates of swirling wind and lightning profound energy which have both passive and active effects as well as a technique unique to that gate. Passively, upon reaching the corresponding cultivation level, your speed, reflexes and reaction speed receive a boost that's always in use. At the highest level, it's possible to sense changes in the magnetic field around your body and react to it. Actively, each gate gives a boost to your concussive or cutting force and destructive power. At the highest level even those of the Divine realms can be threatened. As for the respective skills, please cultivate diligently to find out."
“... Raven, have I ever told you I love you? You wouldn't happen to have an avatar I could kiss, would you?” Though he was truly grateful, he still couldn't help cracking a little joke at the end. Though her response was rather surprising considering not long after he asked, an actual raven did show up on his shoulder with it's head tilted. Jin asking slowly as he petted the bird's smooth feathers that felt like mist. “And you didn't mention this before because..?”
"Host did not ask."
If he wasn't so sure his hand would go straight through her avatar, Jin would have tried to smack her then and there.
Returning to his meditative state, Jin began extracting his own vitality and pulling it into his profound veins. The conversion which should have been slow only taking a few moments to complete and even filling half of his veins. The result was surprising as well as rather draining as he instantly felt he had went days without eating, which would be accurate since today could also be considered the day of his birth, or rebirth, depending on how one would look at it.
Snapping out of meditation, he couldn't help but make a wry smile as he heard the cry of the beast within which demanded its tribute.
Leaping to his feet, he locked up his room despite not having anything valuable inside as he made his way toward the exit with the basin used for water and scissors to return to the hostess who had her mouth open looking at his change as he flashed her a smile.
“Thank you for letting me borrow these miss?”
Hearing his words, she shook her head as her expression returned to normal with a faint grin tugging at her lips. “Yan Xue, and providing service is the job of an inn after all. Speaking of service, will you be dining here?”
Taking a look around and noticed that the seats were filling up quickly with patrons, he shook his head and replied calmly. “I don't think so for today, it's my first time in the city and I want to take a look around. But I will be looking forward to breakfast if you serve it.” After getting a nod for a confirmation, Jin left and took to the streets. Walking around to various stalls and buying a few dumplings that smelled good while heading toward the smiths and weapon shops. After all, he never had a chance to personally witness a smithy that made actual weapons, one of which he needed if he planned to build up System Points to pay for things in the future.
Thinking about his own strength, Jin remembered there were two talismans for Amaterasu in the pocket of his old clothes and decided to ask a little birdie. “Those talismans, are they like what Itachi planted in Sasuke's eye for protection?”
“No. The Amatarasu Divine Talismans are drawn by the sun goddess herself and contain a portion of her flames which are able to burn and purify anything under the sun, depending on the intent of whoever released them.”
Stopping mid stride, he looked at Raven with his mouth slightly open. 'if those weren't single use items that would be too powerful for a beginner item.' After having his shoulder bumped by someone in passing, Jin started moving again towards the direction where smoke came from since there were only two places that would have smoke without people panicking; The first being a large eatery with the kitchens going full blast, and the other being a smith.
Making his way into the nearest store where the melody of hammer against metal rang out, he noticed it was an out of home shop since the wears as well as the actual forge itself were basically in the same room. Jin peeked over the counter and found the smith just got started on a new work, deciding to practice his Body Flicker since the distance was short enough that his meager energy could support it since the technique only required the user to vitalize their body with energy to move at high speeds with the distance being in direct relation to the cost.
In an instant, he was beside the smith just as he began shaping the blade with his Sharingan active as he paid attention to his each action. The craftsman too focused on his work to pay attention to someone who wasn't making noise. After spending almost two hours simply standing there and watching in fascination of the man's skills while having long since recovered his expenditure, all that was left was polishing and adding the handle to the sword for it to be completed. He leaving his spot as a notification sounded off.

Dungeon Darwinism: Deepest Dungeon
Dungeons are a lot like sea turtles. They’re born in clutches of dozens, if not hundreds. A hundred may be born at one time, buried in still burning cities, or in forests where the canopy hides the sky, or in ocean trenches at the bottom of the sea. But only one in a clutch ever makes it to the surface. Everyone knows about dungeons— monstrous factories that emerge out of the earth, full of riches and Arcana and power— and monsters. But most of humanity only know about the dungeons that make it. Mark doesn’t know anything about dungeons. He isn’t from this world, and only as a victim of circumstance has he become an unwilling half of a dungeoncore. The other half is a Dark Lord. (Rewrite)

I'm Always Talking to Myself
My name is Zach. I’m a typical bland featureless protagonist type. The kind of guy who has purposefully few defining characteristics so that people can project whatever they want on me. Like Luke from Star Wars or what’s her name from Twilight. Most main characters are like me. Kind of flavorless blank slates because we all secretly doubt that we’re Harrison Ford, but pretty much anyone could be Mitt Romney. Yep. Yes indeed, I do spend basically my entire life running an internal dialog to no one. Usually I’m imagining that there are people listening. Like maybe philosophers from Ancient Greece, or researchers from another planet who act suspiciously like the characters from that Instagram comic with the aliens. Stupid Instagram comedians stealing my internal monologue and turning into a wildly successful enterprise which I would imagine has a vibrant merch dropshipping arm and hundreds of thousands of daily dopamine hits for loyal followers. I basically spend all of my time explaining random things to imaginary people (and aliens, and animals, and household items which have inexplicably gained sentience and frankly have some concerns about this whole existence thing). Honestly, it’s both highly entertaining to me, in that it makes me think about why we humans do all of the bizarre things that we do, but also horrifically exhausting and kind of makes you feel like you’re either, worst cast, losing your grip on reality, or best case, becoming Abed from Community. Anyway, I’m sure that I have some distinguishing characteristics, but, in the interest of hypnotic suggestion I’m choosing to omit them until I’m pretty sure that you have subconsciously come to identify with me, or until I feel like it. (By the way, in case I forgot to mention it, a higher power called Aww Thor or something told me to say that this is a slice-of-life comedy adventure and that it's set in a fantasy world with isekai and LitRPG elements.)

Dimensions intersection
The 100 years war.Countless gods, devils, heavenly demons, dragons, beast emperors and many more supreme beings fought for supremacy.Due to the war space cracks plagued the dimensions causing them to intersect almost making them destroy each other. After countless efforts the dimensions finally stabilized making a whole new unique dimension.Note: some of you may not like the reincarnation tag so this is to explain some details coming in the plot (NO SPOILERS).the mc will come from earth but unlike lots of novels it will play a major role in his power and character development, i am always open for criticismIt will all be cleared up in the future with lots of fun. IMPORTANT NOTE!!!!: this was supposed to be surprise but as i went more deeply through the rules (in wuxiaworld) i found it will really be hard to be added to the front page, i like when i start something that i must finish it in the most efficient and best way possible with no regrets, so i added this, don't worry it won't be a spoiler, i am just giving a hint, as you already know from the title this novel features dimensions, and since this novel is made on wuxiaworld it must have something related to it, so figure it out a novel about dimensions and wuxiaworld which is full of fantasy novels. I hope you can support me in wuxiaworld so i could reach the main page, if you genuinely like the novel just look it up in original novels in wuxiaworld fourms and click it just for a view, thank you for the support. Thank you for reading.
