《Finding Stardust》Chapter 52 - I Will Make More Tea

They kissed for several minutes. At this moment, even the beautiful night sky adorned with a meteor shower didn't seem to matter anymore. What's important for them, was only each other.
Emma naturally moved her body closer until her upper body and Haoran's touched each other. Haoran's hands that were wrapped around her waist slowly climbed up her back and gently caressed Emma's shoulders.
As their kiss became more passionate, his tongue thrust between Emma's slightly open lips and explored her mouth. He found her tongue and twisted it passionately with his. Their kiss became more intense and passionate. Both seemed to never get enough of the other.
Emma's head felt so light and she was enveloped in happiness. Haoran's touches and kisses made her feel a sense of foreign euphoria. She responded to his kiss naturally. Her hands that still wrapped around his neck, slowly ascended to his head and rub his hair lovingly.
She was overjoyed by their simple union. When a soft moan involuntarily escaped Emma's lips, suddenly, Haoran was stunned. The kiss stopped, and his breath became heavy. Reluctantly, the young man broke away from Emma.
"Ahem ..." The young man cleared his throat and coughed violently. He immediately took his teacup and pretended to focus his attention on his tea.
Emma, who felt her temperature rise and her breathing became irregular, was surprised when Haoran suddenly ended their kiss.
She turned to the young man and examined his side profile, trying to understand what had just happened.
Did Haoran not like kissing her? Why did he stop suddenly like this, when Emma was enjoying their kiss so much? Or.. is he thinking of that other girl.. Lily?
Suddenly Emma's chest was filled with jealousy. This was a new feeling to her and she didn't like it.

Meanwhile, Haoran was still coughing. His face flushed red, and his attitude became awkward. Emma was baffled. What did actually happen?
Out of curiosity, Emma finally decided to read his mind.
"Gosh ..." Emma involuntarily held her breath, her eyes went round, and her face flushed red. She reflexively hugged herself and looked at Haoran, who was concentrating on drinking his tea while directing his gaze in the other direction, away from Emma.
Emma also coughed violently and immediately reached for her cup. Her face looked very embarrassed as she also turned her head in the opposite direction of Haoran's gaze and concentrated on her drink.
She just found out that, apparently, Haoran ended the kiss not because he didn't like Emma, but rather the opposite. Haoran liked Emma too much, and their kiss just now was too intense for him. When she started to moan, his desire was aroused.
That's why he hurriedly let go of Emma and tried to dispel his perverted thoughts by looking into the sky while sipping his tea.
Emma and Haoran did not talk nor look at each other for several minutes, while they calmed their palpitating chests.
"Ahem ... I.. I want to make some more tea ..." Emma muttered five minutes later.
The throbbing in her chest had gradually subsided and she wanted to divert her attention from Haoran by going down to the kitchen and making another pot of tea.
Haoran only nodded, not looking at her. Emma took the tray with the teapot and went down to the kitchen. There, she boiled water to make tea while thinking about what had just happened.
Gosh ... she massaged her own temple. Fortunately, none of them were drunk tonight. She didn't know what would have happened had Haoran not been able to control himself. Maybe they would have gone too far and done something they would both regret.
