After she entered her bedroom, Emma washed her face and then lay her body on the bed. At first, she thought she would have trouble sleeping since she was in an unfamiliar place, but she was wrong.
Her body was tired and, mentally, her mind was so busy with various thoughts about the fate of her parents. Emma was so scared to imagine that, even though she tried so hard to find her father and mother, there was a possibility that her parents have actually died. It made her feel exhausted.
She fell asleep a few minutes after her body touched the mattress.

Three hours later, a hand touched Emma's shoulder gently. The girl immediately opened her eyes and realized that Haoran was sitting on the edge of her bed and tried to wake her by touching her softly.
"Eh ... is it 2 am already?" Emma asked. She got up and rub her eyes. "I want to wash my face first."
She then walked toward the sink and washed her face to freshen up. Haoran waited for her to finish and then voiced, "The boys all passed out in my room, I cannot send them out. So, I was thinking of bringing the telescope here? What do you think?"
"I see," Emma then nodded. "OK, sure."
She then walked to open the door to her balcony while Haoran returned to his room and soon came back, carrying the large telescope with him. Haoran placed the telescope on Emma's balcony so they could enjoy the meteor shower, which was about to begin.
"Bring some floor cushions here, so we can sit on the floor while watching the sky," Haoran asked Emma while he positioned the telescope to get the perfect angle. The girl nodded. She brought two large floor cushions and placed them near the telescope.

"Luckily, the sky was clear tonight, so we could see the meteor shower well," Haoran said happily.
Emma just smiled at his words. For her, good or bad weather made no difference. With her powers, Emma could do whatever she liked and stop the rain from pouring if she wanted.
"I want to make tea for us," Emma said. "Wait here. I will be quick."
"I'm coming with you," Haoran replied. He followed Emma into the kitchen and accompanied the girl to make a pot of tea for them. After they were done, he brought a tray filled with the teapot and two cups, while Emma brought snacks for them to watch the sky.
Ten minutes later, they were already sitting on the floor cushions on the balcony of Emma's room and getting ready to watch the sky.
"It's begun," Haoran said, sipping his tea. He pointed to the sky above them. "I just saw two falling stars right over there. Just observe with the telescope, there must be hundreds caught by the telescope lens."
Emma nodded. She placed her cup on the floor and immediately observed the sky through the telescope in front of her.
"Aahh ..!" Involuntarily, she shrieked with joy. Emma had seen hundreds of meteor shot down from space and burned as they entered the Earth's atmosphere. It was such a beautiful spectacle. She was amazed by the hundreds of falling stars. "This is.. gosh.. oh, so pretty... !!!"
Emma kept squealing with excitement as she watched meteor after meteor fall from the sky. This was far more beautiful than the fireworks they had witnessed earlier.
Haoran only smiled at Emma's squeals of excitement. He approached the girl and sat beside her to look from the telescope as soon as Emma pulled her eyes from the lens.

"So beautiful ..." Haoran said.
"Yeah ... right. How beautiful. Go on, you see for yourself," exclaimed Emma. She took her eyes off the telescope lens and turned to Haoran.
For a moment, the girl was dazed. Haoran apparently was looking at her when he said the phrase 'so beautiful' earlier. And now their faces were facing each other at such close proximity.
"Beautiful," Haoran said again, smiling. He was elated to see how happy Emma was when she observed the night sky and how much the meteor shower fascinated her.
Tonight, he thought Emma looked especially prettier than usual because happiness was emanating throughout her whole being.
Emma looked at Haoran without blinking, as Haoran looked right into her topaz eyes and smiled faintly.
The quiet and solemn atmosphere, adorned by meteor showers in the sky above them, made their hearts beat faster and their chests filled with warmth.
Haoran slowly closed his eyes and brought his face closer to kiss Emma's lips. The girl held her breath, and when their lips met, she naturally responded to Haoran's kiss. She also closed her eyes and welcomed Haoran's sweet lips on hers.
They kissed gently.
Emma's hands were wrapped around Haoran's neck, while the young man's arms wrapped around her waist.
