《It Seems Like I Got Transmigrated Into An Eroge》Chapter 2: Spirit Infinite

Opening my eyes, what I saw was a white high-ceiling. At first, I thought it was the same white ceiling I’m seeing every day in the hospital. However, there’s a vast difference because I can feel my whole body once again! I immediately looked around me and saw a humongous luxurious room, the size of the room is twice bigger than my room at the hospital! There’s really nothing much to tell about the room, a television in front of me, a large desk where books are lying on top of it, then a closet—That’s pretty much about it. Furthermore, I’m able to move my limbs again! I was in a daze for a few seconds as I started pondering my thoughts. This is all just a dream once again. Then I unconsciously slapped myself right in the cheeks with both of my hands. A hot-burning sensation roused within my cheeks, the stingy painful feeling—They’re real. Resulting in myself falling into a trance-state, as I daze on the comfy bed below me. Looking down, I saw an article of unfamiliar clothing or, to be precisely a pajama; I don’t recall wearing this kind of clothing, as well as anything related to me going somewhere. I’m bedridden. How can I...? What’s more, my arms and legs feel different. They’re skinny yet look fatter than my usual skin and bones look...? I started moving around my arms, opening and closing my hands simultaneously. This is all feels real. I can’t fathom how dumbfounded I am right now. After moving my arms and hands around, I started moving my legs, which corresponded to my brain properly. This must be a dream. Naturally, my feet took me around the room, analyzing things. While walking around, I thought that my surroundings unusually looks surreal for me. Then I passed by a door, so I opened it. Behind the door, it’s a bathroom. Getting inside it, I saw a mirror that reflected an appearance of a beautiful person, a perfectly well-shaped face, prominent eyes with an auburn iris and golden pupil, a delicate nose, and red-tinted lips. In addition, white long neckline hair, matching her skinny petite tall figure. Overall, a transcending beautiful woman was in front of me. I got flustered and tried to cover my face. However, the woman in front of me matched the exact movements that I did. So, I started touching my face, pulling, pinching it hard as I can, but I can only feel the pain from it. In the mirror, I’m showing a stupefied expression, as I can’t believe such a thing is happening to me. But once again, I firmly believe that I’m still dreaming. There’s no way... If the person in front of is me, and a woman... I immediately moved my hands in between my legs upon touching a rod-like thing. I sigh in huge relief. “Oh, thank god. I'm still a guy,” I said to myself. Once again, I became astonished because even my voice changed—Everything changed! What’s going on?! As I started panicking, a voice resonated through my ears, a cheerful, tiny voice. “Hello~!” “What the?!” I turned my head around promptly, then saw a tiny female with butterfly sparkly wings behind her. Suddenly, our eyes met each other. Her eyes are sparkling though her pupil is a cross-mark shape, and the color is like an emerald surrounding it with a purple iris. When our eyes glanced at each other, I panicked and started backing off quickly. “Wha—! Wa-wa-wa, wa-wa, Wha—!” While backing away, my feet stumbled on something which led me to fall into the bathtub. As I fall, I accidentally opened the water of the showerhead, which resulted in drenching myself. First and foremost, I need to address this thing floating creature right before my eyes. A tiny woman was floating in front of my face, staring into my eyes with a smile on her face. “W-What do you want?” “Hahahaha, no need to get scared. Why are you looking at me like that? Look at me, I’m small. I even took the initiative to make myself look like a fairy so that you wouldn’t get scared because small creatures are harmless, right?” “Huh...?” “Haah... Come on, you didn’t even get my joke?” “Joke?” “Small creatures are harmless! How can you not get my joke?! Ehem, anyway, I welcome you, Fukushima Aki, on the land of the living once again~♪” “What?” Our conversation was isn’t getting anywhere, as every word that came out of her mouth is all utter nonsense. It only even made me more confused than it is. Welcome? How come she knew my name when I haven’t even introduced myself yet? Land of the living? What? “Simple, because Fukushima Aki is no more, or to be exact you’re dead. But, mother gave you a chance to regain the life you lost—A second chance. And, I’m the guide she sent to you.” “Wha—... How?!” “I can read minds.” This must be a dream. “No, it’s not a dream. Look at this.” She then raised her right hand. On that hand, a small light manifested then it shot out of her hand, which graze my right cheek. I exclaimed in pain. “Arggh!” Touching it, I saw blood in my hand. “See?” Then she snapped her fingers. The pain and numb feeling in my cheeks vanished in a matter of seconds. The thing that all transpired right now... I still can’t process it inside my head. If this isn’t a dream, then where am I? Only questions started popping into my head, trying to seek answers, but since my mind is in disarray; I can’t think straight. She clapped her hands to get my attention and said. “Calm yourself down, will yah? I’ll explain it to you one by one, okay? No matter how much you ponder on it, you’re not going to find the answer because I’m the answer that you’re seeking, okay? Do you understand me~?” I nodded. “Well then, let me start from the top. Your name is Fukushima Aki, a person who died from a terminal illness?” “Yes?” “Now we’re talking ~♥ I’ll explain the circumstances and the situation you’re currently in, okay~?” I can only nod. “Fukushima Aki, diagnosed with a terminal illness when he’s about 13 years old and from that point, he lived 6 years in the hospital, died at the age of 19 at the exact time and date, 3:42 pm. Tuesday of December 10, 20XX. To summarize, you dead boy.” “...” “Well, to explain things, you are granted a second chance in this world. Isn’t that exciting~?” “Um, I still don’t get it. So, I’m in heaven?” “No! How many do I need to explain, you’re in another world! Hi~yah~!” “Another world?” “Yes~ As you may know, the existence of other worlds is non-existent, only the higher beings like myself know about. Aren’t I cool~!?” “If I’m dead, how come I’m in here?” “You’re making me dizzy, Aki~ Stop going in circles~ Once a creature dies, their soul will go into trial and will go back in the reincarnation river, but mother made an exception for you. Which is related to your Karma, but I’m not going to tell since you won’t even get it~ I’m one of mother’s entrusted personnel on handling soul related stuff~ Hehe~” “So, you’re like a messenger of some sort?” “Yes~” “And your mother is the creator of all beings?” “Hm~? No~ She’s not~ Mother may be a powerful being in the whole existence, but mother didn’t create you and or anything in this world~ Like mother, we’re all created out of thin air with a purpose and duty in mind~” “Are you sure about telling me this kind of thing?” “Of course~ I’m just following as per mother’s request and rules~ But, there are still some restricted topics~ You can ask me questions, you know~?” “What happened after I died? How about my family?” “Duh, after you died, your family mourned for you. Don’t ask the obvious.” “... Ehem, anyway, sorry for that question, but I’m still piecing all this together. My next question would be, will my parents and brother will live peacefully?” “Hmm... Why do you keep asking about your family? Anyway, I can’t answer that, I don’t have the power to foresight their futures, it’ll depend on their Karma~” “Why do you keep mentioning this Karma? What’s that? The principle of one’s action or deed? That Karma?” “Hm, can’t tell you~” “But, you just said...” “No-no, Mother will get angry at me~ Sowwy~” She flew around my head before finally sitting right on my shoulder. Her enthusiastic and annoying personality it’s starting to piss me off, but I held myself as I don’t want to get into this "thing’s" bad side. After she sat on my shoulder, I then followed it by standing up from the bathtub, then grabbed a nearby towel hanging on the side then dried myself up. While doing that, I asked more questions. “Where am I?” “Hm~ The Spirit Infinite world~!” “That sounds familiar...” “Of course, it’s the perverted game your brother really liked.” “Huh?” I suddenly stopped drying my hair with the towel and looked at the tiny female on my shoulder, stupefied. I can’t even process all the information that she kept telling, but then suddenly she said something even more ridiculous.
