"Magic is as adaptable as well, anything. You see, the core elements of how to use magic is always the same no matter what level you're at.

Its always been like that and will always be like that. At least till some great magical genius advances the world into a vast and unexplored new territory.

But at the rate we go and kill geniuses when they decide to use some random form Magic right now? That's unlikely to happen for a really, really, really long time.

So what are these steps you ask? Well, we first gather magical energy. Now this can be done in variety of ways. You could imagine a storage device and fill it with magical power. Channel it always, or even store spells arhat are ready and waiting to be used inside you.

Then, after you figure that part out, you start trying to gather magical energy into your way of storage. Now we get to the part of the magic casting formula.

You see, there are dozens of ways to impart the large amount of energy you've gathered and stored into something actually deadly. These ways can be but are not limited to.

Thinking of a concept and parting the atributes of such a thing into your magic.

Creating an image in your mind and then filling that with your magic.

Filling your words and gestures with magical power and then using them to cast.

Practicing a physical martial art and channeling magic through that.

Using complex equations and formulas to cast magic.

Or channeling it through loads of esoteric materials.

Frankly there are probably a lot more ways to cast magic but these are the ones off the top of my head.

The ways magic is cast for the final part always depends on the person. Are you a front like fighter? Than using a martial art to cast magic is a safe bet. Healer? Time to get your hands dirty!

Now we have the the two steps, we now reach the final third.

Giving your magic a form. You can store and shoot power out but now that power has to be something. And magic users decide it in different ways. Some just say words to decide what magic they cast. Others train in martial arts to effect it.

But depending on how you cast spells, you'll find a different way each to give the magic you shoot to kill or help people with a form.

Now all these steps seem really divergent and not at all similar like I said at the beginning. But the thing is, they are all pretty similar.

I really just outlined the simple steps of finding a way to store magic, shoot magic, and find a way to give magic a form. All the specifics were there just to help you get a footing in the world of professional magic.
