Flowering essence
Mortal tier recipe. No cultivation requirements
People like flowers, right? Well most do at least.
However, this poses an issue as not all flowers bloom at the same time, and in most cases are even weeks apart from each other. This completely ignores magical flowers which may only bloom once in their life after a few years of growth, but fortunately there are ways around that in most cases.
When someone decided that they wanted their garden to bloom all at once, it only became a matter of time before a needless concoction came about to perform such a thing. But maybe most interestingly is how this thing is an amazing component for some flower based recipes down the line.
Ingredients and recipe 10 g of petals from 10 different flowers, 100 g total – non magical flowers Mystified glare stamens, 2 objects – natural gathering stage flower Camneer tree sap, 35 ml – non magical fluid Volcanic ice, 30 grams – non magical fluid
Mystified glare is a weak flower whose only real ability is drawing in the attention of those looking. Famed individuals will wear one to reduce the number of people staring at their faces. You can grow it quite easily with a bit of low-tier enchanted water, although finding it in the wild is pretty easy.
Volcanic ice is made by freezing water that is passing through volcanic rocks. There is nothing special about this process aside from minute quantities of volcanic ash being left within the water, this ash functions as rather effective nutrients for plants.
Camneer tree sap is the main portion of this stuff, and with it we can use the resultant produce in numerous ways. Our method will be incense sticks which are then placed in areas around your garden, although leaving it as a powder to spread by hand or even diluting it into water which you spray the flowers in are both viable methods.

The trees will only grow in fields of lush flowers, no preference on colour, and their passive existence appears to halt wilting temporarily. Like this a flower which may normally die within the week can instead last a month. Take care to not over-harvest the tree sap as it may kill the tree, or just buy it from a store. Try to find one which sells ethically harvested ingredients, as less morally inclined farmers will keep these trees on the edge of life and death to drain every drop of profit.
With your ingredients ready. Start by dehydrating your petals in an oven or with direct sunlight. They should easily snap when force is applied, and from there you grind them into a flaky powder. A fine dust is usable but not necessary in this recipe.
With the stamens, scrape of the pollen using a knife blade and add it into your dried petal powder. Do not worry about clumping too much, just stir lightly to disperse it a bit. The rest of the stamens can be discarded unless you have another recipe which requires them.
Add half the volcanic ice to this mixture and stir whilst it melts. Such a quantity of water is fully absorbed by the dry petals, slightly wetting the entire mixture. Now the Camneer sap is added with the last of the ice. This stirring is quite intense in comparison, especially since the sap is incredibly thick in a raw state.
Some people recommend heating the sap slightly to reduce viscosity, but I find that the temperature increase can ruin this step. If mixing by hand is such an issue then use a machine to do it, or just advance your cultivation to natural gathering. Not like either option is difficult…
As you stir more and more you will notice the sap begin to break apart into small balls. This can be repeated more and more until it turns into tiny grain-sized clumps of product. In this finished state it can be added to the water used on your flowers or directly thrown on the plants.

For usage on incense sticks you must heat it in a pan till it liquidises slightly. When it becomes mouldable with your hands it is in an ideal form. Take a small amount and smear a thin stick in it. Place in a freezer to chill and remove once solid.
Usage
This product only works on non-magical flowers. No volume of this stuff can force a lengthened blossoming of magical plants.
Once used, all flowers infused with the product are set to bloom. This time is random but never more than 15 minutes from the moment of absorption. From here the flowers remain in bloom for a time related to their standard survival time.
For plants that bloom for less than 24 hours, it forcibly keeps them open and alive for 3 days. Plants with 1-7 days of bloom time will find their survival time boosted by x6, promptly wilting shortly after such a time period. Those between 7-30 days experience a x2 boost, giving quite a few flowers in this range the shorter end of the stick. And last are the flowers which bloom for >30 days, which receive a x1.5 boost. Do know that flowers which never wilt display no effects under this powder.
As for how this stuff can be utilised in further products. It turns out that Camneer trees hold more properties than just boosting and encouraging blooming. When this stuff is mixed into a few other things it becomes a powerful target-seeking weedkiller for example, and another creates a fluid which gives flowers a more vibrant colour.

Chronicles Of The Storylord: 12th Chronicle - Origin
Twelve souls were chosen to expand into the void surrounding the known universe(s), and were given a grace period in which they would experience a relatively safe expansion of their domains. Once that period is up, however, they are free to interact with each other...and what lurks in the depths of the Abyss, the Void, and the Primordial Chaos. I am the 12th soul, but I am not as those others are, for I am merely a shard. My purpose: begin the Tale anew. For I am the Storylord, and I am the Tale. The Tale is all, and all is the Tale, yet the Tale is myself, for I am all in my domain. This is my story, the saga of many, the legend… of the Tale. Just remember this: “This world is but a story, and all the stories are true...” This story is in the same general multiverse as RE: Deity by lightningwarrior21, but will be almost completely separate except in a few chapters. I have permission from him to use his base multiverse, and you should go check out his fiction, it’s really good. http://royalroadl.com/fiction/9597 This ‘fiction’ will be updated sporadically, so don’t expect much of a steady stream of chapters. (I’ll try to do one chapter a week, but no promises.) Suggestions on how to improve this universe helps with the management, so comments are welcome, as are Grammar Nazis. I’ve had this fiction mostly as scattered notes in my google drive, and only recently had enough time to actually put it together, like I promised lightning back in January. (Writer’s block and schoolwork do not mix well.) The cover is not owned by me, I found the image on google images. Anyway, I’ll be back yesterday… or was that tomorrow? (I really need to get that damn causality generator fixed, me-damnit!) See ya!
