Primouth's Potion of Panacea

Mortal tier recipe. No cultivation requirements

When the King was wretched and old,

He brought in physicians tenfold.

One presented a bright potion,

And in the commotion,

He slipped off with a purse full of gold.

– Avarice Accumulator Strot Sea

Ingredients and recipe Freshwater, 150 ml – non magical fluid Any vibrant dye, 5 drops – non magical fluid Oil of vitriol (Dilute sulfuric acid), 1 ml @ 20% concentration – non magical acid

I deign to call this a potion, let alone an alchemical product. However, considering the number of hopeless saps that greedily swallow this, I suppose it long-since earned its place here.

In case of any reactions, it’s best to add the vitriol into your water first. Under no circumstances should you drop water into the acid unless an early death is your preference. Properly stir the weakened acid with a glass rod and add wait for the light bubbling to stop. When vitriol and water interact a large amount of heat is released, and it’s best to wait for this to pass before continuing.

With that finished, begin adding your dye drop by drop. If you notice any further bubbling or emission of heat it’s in your best interests to rush away. Some sort of cover is further ideal, as an exploding vial will send sharp glass hurtling everywhere. It’d be very sad for someone like you to get stabbed in the eye…

With the dye properly mixed, cap the vial and find yourself a fool to purchase your panacea. This thing actually requires better talking skills than alchemy.

Usage

First, you’re a horrible alchemist for trying to sell this concoction to anyone.

The product holds no real effect unless someone wants to clean their wound with a diluted acid. Drinking it will not reverse aging, or cure a deathly sick mother. The recipient may actually die faster from the damage caused by an outside acid.

At a stretch, this works as a placebo drug. Giving people a way to vent their frustrations in hope a worthless vial will save their lives. Alternatively, it does calm nerves to some degree as the drinker believes it to have some effect. I suppose in that regard it’s a short term replacement for people that drink to calm themselves.

Oh, and the burning vitriol will help sell the lie.

Well done. Here are the test results: You are a horrible person.
