All of these things were connected somehow .

The Temporal Anomaly was related somehow to time travel .

The Soul Shards which contained information were connected to the soul as indicated by it's name .

So a soul was transported to the past using time travel .

Lin Lingtian looked at the group of teens standing at the back of the class .

His gaze lingered on Nie Li .

' His change in personality , that tone in his voice , that confidence when he challenged Shen Xiu , those are not things that can be easily faked so you are now my one and only candidate for the cause of the Temporal Anomaly . '

Lin Lingtian thought about all the things Nie Li dis after he got the status of Temporal Anomaly .

Looking up he gazed on Shen Xiu and then to Nie Li .

' let's assume he traveled back in time so why target Shen Xiu's shitty teaching methods . In movies and anime time travel is mostly done when there is a biggest apocalyptic event . So will an apocalyptic event happen in the future and Shen Xiu is somehow responsible for it . No not shen Xiu , the sacred family did something that caused an apocalyptic event and this man has time traveled back to stop it . '

Lin Lingtian chuckled at his crazy thoughts and then looked at his hands , ' It didn't matter if Nie Li was a time traveler or not , if there is an apocalyptic event in the future like a demon beast horde then I want to be strong enough to survive in this shitty world . '

Lin Lingtian closed his eyes as he began to focus on the War God Technique.

Characters of the Chant of the War God Technique began to appear in his mind .

The Sounds of a bell rang through the entire Holy Orchid .

Lin Lingtian opened his eyes , he was so immersed in the War God Technique that time seemed to stop for him .

If someone with another soul form tried to perform the cultivation technique then it will adapt and give maximum results along with many other things .

While trying to understand the War God Technique he found many interesting things about things like Soul Form , Soul Attribute and Cultivation techniques .

Many cultivation technique on the level of the War God Technique gave some other benefits .

The War God Technique gave 5 benefits to the user which were unknown for now to him except for 1 but as his level and understanding increase he will unlock them .

Standing up from his seat and politely declining the invitation of a few young girls for me to practice martial arts with them .He began to walk out of class when Shen Xiu said ," Lin , stay back , I want to talk to you ."

Lin Lingtian's heart began to race as he could only nod in response .

A few minutes go bye as as the students leave with only Shen Xiu and Lin Lingtian awkwardly standing there in the classroom alone .

Lin Lingtian tried resisting his body's instincts but his resistance was finally broken as his body instinctively outstretched his hand .

A small smile broke out of Shen Xiu as she brought her hand up to his and the moment their hands touched , memories began to flood Lin Lingtian's mind .

In the halls of the one of the Sacred Family's mansions , servants moved swiftly as a young Lin Lingtian around the age of 7 carried the dirty dishes to the outside .

An elderly woman whispered to an guard ," Are you sure ?"

The guard nodded ," Yes , the Young Miss Shen Xiu is quite angry today as Ye Han from the Snow Wind Family was praised at the joint project about inscription array with the young lady claiming she did all the work and he took her credit . The patriarch has decided to sent her into closed door cultivation so that she could reflect on what she did ?

Head Servant Qing , you have to select a servant to stay with and serve the young lady during her closed door cultivation .

The Head Servant could only gulp .

Looking around , she glanced at the young Lin Lingtian who was cleaning the dishes .

The Head Servant called out Lin Lingtian and said ," Xiao ( little ) Lin , you have been selected to serve the Young Lady Shen Xiu in her closed door cultivation ."

The Young Lin Lingtian bowed to the head servant and said ," Thank you for selecting me Miss Qing , I will not disappoint you ."

The Head Servant smiled and said ," I am sure you will not ."

While walking away to change his clothes and go to the young lady who was staying at the furthest mansion he thought ,' The Young Lady of the Sacred Family is known for her temper and through the talks of the servants she is quite spoiled by the patriarch , if she is in closed door cultivation then she must have done something that either brought shame to the name of the family or she angered the patriarch or offended someone she shouldn't have . There are not that many people she could get away with offending and there have not been any gossip about what she did then she must have brought shame to the family name . I don't know the reason why she is in closed door cultivation but one thing is clear , she will be furious and may attack me without reason , I must think of something that will keep be alive while serving the Young Lady , that old fart Qing must have sent me to the young lady to die .'

Wearing some clean clothes , Lin Lingtian first went to the market to buy Fanged Panda Meat .

Walking to the halls of the mansion , a young Lin Lingtian carried a bowl of Fanged Panda Noddles .

Placing the bowl outside a room , Lin waited a few minutes for the smell of the Fanged Panda Noddles to reached the owner of the room , Shen Xiu .

Lin Lingtian knocked and then kowtowed .

His plan was simple , he had cooked up Shen Xiu's favourite dish . If she was mad then eating something she liked would decrease the chance of her lashing out on him .

A few minutes go bye , Shen Xiu had still not opened the door .

Lin Lingtian again knocked ," May I enter the room , Miss Shen Xiu ."

Lin Lingtian waited and waited as 2 hours go bye .

Standing up , he went to the kitchen to reheat the Noddles so he could eat it .

In the kitchen , Lin Lingtian lit up the stove and began to thrown in a few more sticks to get the fire going .

( Thud ! )

A sound of something hitting a tree was heard by him as he looked to through the window .

Hitting the stumps with anger visible on the face of the maiden .

Red Hair Flew down as sweat covered her face and body .

( Ahhhh ! )

The Frustration on the face of Shen Xiu was visible .

A crack was visible on the training posts.

Lin Lingtian's eyes widened , that was the young lady of the sacred family Shen Xiu .

Quickly pouring in the broth , noddles amd vegetables , he went outside and stopped a few meters away from Shen Xiu who was sitting beside a tree .

Shen Xiu smelled the aroma of the fanged panda noddles and said ," You Servant bring me that bowl immediately ."

Lin Lingtian brought the steaming bowl of Fanged Panda Noddles to her as she happily ate it .

Shen Xiu said ," You , servant , What's your name ? "

" Young Miss Shen Xiu , this humble servants name is Lin Lingtian ."

" Did my brother order you to cook this meal because a meal isn't going to calm my anger ?" Anger was evident in her voice .

Lin Lingtian chewed on it as a warmth filled his body .

His eyes became drowsy as his head bobbed back and forth and he was out like a light .

Shen Xiu looked at the sleeping form of Lin Lingtian and smiled ,' How much fun can I have before you break ?'

Hehehe , my toy , Lin was so fun .

For 3 months I showed him so much kindness and now after that whatever I saw , he will follow like a dog .

Having him hitting the training posts until his hands get bloody .

After firing all the other servants , having him clean the entire mansion .

Beating himm with the pretence of training .

He sings praises for me like a canary .

His warm eyes that only look at me and only me with such love hahahahahahahahahahah .
