( Lin Lingtian's POV )

I eat my fill on the school's breakfast and grab a few pieces of fruit and cheese for lunch . The school may not provide lunch, but they do provide enough snacks during breakfast to tide most over until dinner.

Finding my classroom was easy. It reminded me of a miniature college classroom with stadium seating for unobstructed views from any seat. There is a large blackboard behind the teaching podium, but all other walls are bare. There are small windows lining the back wall, but set too high to see out of. I claim the corner seat in the back to prevent myself from being surrounded by teenage angst.

An excited teen with blonde with a shade of orange hair ,wearing quite a lot of orange which reminded me of a certain blonde hair knucklehead as a tired-looking teen claims the other seat at my table. Glancing over, he's already placing his head on the table. He had dark grey blue hair .

" Hello , I am Nie Li ." The blonde exclaimed with enthusiasm .

" Lu Piao ." The other teen lazily introduced himself .

" Lin Lingtian ." With a friendly smile I said .

Striking a conversation with Nie Li was easy as him revealing the fact he was from the Heavenly Marks Family , an aristocrat family which greatly surprise Lin Lingtian as Nie Li treated him as an equal .

Students began to pour into the class with Nie Li dreamily looking at someone .

That someone was a purple haired 13 year old girl .

Offhandedly Lin Lingtian ," Your Fiancé ."

As in Glory City it was quite common for children or as legit adults in Glory City to get betrothed to one another .

To Lin Lingtian it might seem weird but who was he to say anything about their culture .

Out of all the students only 2 stood out to him atleast .

Shen Yue ,the son of the patriarch of the Sacred Family . Lin Lingtian never had that many interactions with him but those he had were of the brat belittling him .

The other one was , Xiao Ning'er , the fiancee of the young master of the Sacred Family. The original Lin Lingtian pitied the girl because of the lecherous behaviour of the young master of the Sacred Family .

" Hey , Did you hear the rumor ? " Nie Li exclaimed .

Lin Lingtian was interested what the rumor was .

" The rumor is going around that the teacher of this year's Fighters apprentice class would be Shen Xiu , the sister of the patriarch of the sacred family ,a ..."

This body , no , his heart was reacting to the name Shen Xiu .

Even if he had the memories of Lin Lingtian , it was more like he had seen the memories of Lin Lingtian like a movie . So for small details like who the hell was Lin Lingtian's love e.t.c. were lost on him .

The door swung open as I saw her . A woman around the age of 18 to 20 and she was steel melting capital " H " hot.

Long flowing hair that reached below her ass, legs that any man would kill to bury his face in between, and a dress or were they stylish curtain that left very little to the imagination However her face, although gorgeous, was stuck in an absolutely disgusting mix of " sharkweek bitchmode " and " I am holier than thou" . "A Demon Spiritualist is above a Fighter. We are a truly noble existence. A Demon Spiritualist can form a soul realm within their dantian. They have the ability to integrate a captured demon into their soul realm and then merge with the demon in combat. This allows them to possess matchless strength, which is far above the strength Fighters could compete with."

Shen Xiu raised her chin and spoke arrogantly, "Just like me, my demon is a Scarlet Flame Fox."

Intrigued Lin Lingtian looked at her .

Suddenly, Shen Xiu's face and hands underwent drastic changes. Her facial shape became sharper, her teeth and nails also became sharper. Finally, a scarlet tail emerged from her back.

"After merging with a demon, I can control it's strength as well as gain fire-type abilities. Among the demons, the Scarlet Flame Fox is a Gold rank beast. This means that the highest level I can reach is Gold rank Demon Spiritualist. Of course, after becoming a Gold rank Demon Spiritualist, I

can replace it with a more powerful demon."

When it came to her cultivation, the pride on Shen Xiu's face became thicker.

Shen Xiu's words caused a group of students

to be amazed. Gold rank Demon Spiritualists are existences beyond the reach for most of them.

Lin Lingtian could help but rub his eyes .

He just saw someone transform .

" hahah ." He couldn't help but chuckle , an excitement filled him . This truly was a fantasy like world .

As Shen Xiu continued lecturing on the

stage, Nie Li was sitting in the back row. His

mind was in a trance as his soul floated

around.

Looking around in the darkness crystal shards of different colour floated around him .

The shard on his right had a magenta colour as it felt as he was looking towards a hole .

Looking at the shard in the middle , it had no colour and it gave of no impressive show of power but the more he looked at it the more it felt ..... stronger .

The last shard was coloured black and crimson and it gave off an extreme aura of power .
