Chapter 19- How to be a cheat Character 'I will hunt some bandits to steal their Mana to fill mine.' This past few day, Gabriel sneaks outside the manor in the middle of the night. He used flying magic and arrive at the nearby mountain that used by the bandit as a hideout. On the top, he saw a cave that belongs to the bandits. Seeing the bandits lurking around, he used his gluttony to absorb their mana and souls. Gabriel used this opportunity to look on their memories. He sorted all the memories and kept the valuable information that he needed. He looks at the information about the four divine swords, some of the bandits who escape started to run as they scream. "Monster." "The God of death descended." something like that. 'Can't you see how handsome I am, to call me a monster is rude you know.' He absorbed the souls of the bandits who called him monsters while letting those who called him God escape. Gabriel used his divine mana to plant a curse to those bandits. The curse will torment them on their night sleep forever until they die. The other purpose of letting those bandits escape is to make them spread a gossip. A few days later, the gossip spread in the nearby town that a terrifying God was residing on the Bandits mountain. Gabriel planned to use the cave as a research lab. He cast aside the idea of using his dimension fearing that it may end up devoured by his experiment like in the past. When he was a scientist, he invented a powerful thing that devoured him and the whole planet. That thing was now inside of his consciousness. Every time he saw that the sun was about to rise. He will return to the manor to join the four heroes in their training. He also asks Claudia when will they depart. So he knew that today was their last training before going on the journey to the north. Inside the cave, Gabriel was sitting cross-legged. He decided to add an attribute to his mana to make it pure and superior. He tested if all the elements have an affinity with his soul. When he saw he had an affinity for all elements, he yelled in surprise. He didn't expect he will turn into cheat character after returning in Midas world. With elements added to his roots, veins like thing started to spread to his soul. Furthermore, all of the veins possessed different kinds of color he already knew those things represent. At first, he was doubtful, putting an attribute on his soul has a high risk of death. But his instinct reacted, so he decided to take the gamble and succeeded. Now he will be immune to all kinds elements. Gabriel didn't become arrogant as he knew that he was not invincible yet. It can only increase his resistance to the attack of a cultivator or God possessing their Dao. Gabriel now has the confidence to fight those old Gods, even if he ended defeated. In the training camp. 'Ehe, you plan to take this God toy? This God will make you suffer from being alive.' Gabriel grinned. "Hey, what are you grinning at, are you thinking of perverted thing again?" Claire said as she walks by his side. 'Hell, do you think I am a sex fiend who thinks of sexual pleasure every day!?' Seeing her attack missed, Claire stops her assault and look at him for a second, then turned her head to the weaponry. "Take a sword." Having no choice, Gabriel picks a sword on the weaponry and unsheathe the sword lazily. "It seems like you didn't treat this as a real duel." Claire glared at him. "The fu*k isn't this suppose to be a training program, how the hell did it end up on a duel!?" Gabriel cried "No use in crying, fight me with all your might." Gabriel made a stance to block her attack. She was startled, she looks at him like he was a monster. She stared at him as she knew the origin of his stance. "Where did you learned that formed?" "Claudia used this stance so Imitated her." Gabriel has a clueless look as if stating a matter of fact. On the side, Philia looks at him with a stunned expression on her face. "Wow, I didn't know Gabriel already learned your technique Claudia-sama." "He sure is amazing he already learns the sword stance after 3days of training." Hinata nodded her head. "Yes, Gabriel-senpai is incredible. I will probably take a year to learn that stance." Jin gazes at Gabriel with adoration. Brigitte didn't say anything but a slight flicker appeared in her eyes. "Well, that skill belongs to my royal family, so I also expected him to take a few more weeks to learn that skill," Claudia said with a wry smile. 'That is a skill that only belongs to the royal family, and you treat it like an ordinary skill!?' Claudia cried inside, she knew that he was smart, but she didn't expect that he will learn his sword stance just by looking at it. He only relied on instinct, to dodges all her attacks in a single breath of time, so he started to feel fatigue. When Claire saw his complexion, she stops the match as she saw that he was already exhausted. 'Damn, we are already fighting for almost half a day, do you even want to stop!? Furthermore, I am in disadvantage I can't even touch those meats because Philia and the others are here.' So Gabriel pretends that he lacks the stamina to stop the battle. Sighing in relief, he looks at the four heroes and Claudia dazed expression. 'Ehe, I am amazing, right?' Gabriel puffs his chest proudly. He was about to take a step forward when a silhouette suddenly past in front of him. "Onee-chan, I am back!" He looks at the girl who was now hugging Claudia like a koala. She has a silver hair with a pair of blue eyes. Getting out on the girl embrace, Claudia told the girl to introduce herself. "Nice to meet you, Heroes. I am the 1st princess Pola Gabriela." Pola bowed to the four heroes. She then turns her head to Gabriel as a wicked aura started to leak on her body. Gabriel was surprised to find out that this Girl possessed a Qi. "I challenge you trash!" She pointed at Gabriel. 'Well, how should respond, I wonder?' Gabriel grinned from ear to ear.
