《Falling Stardust》Endless war

Three days later, the same group of people stood in a courtyard behind their palace where an airship had appeared out of nowhere. The same young man who called himself Nail showed up. Thousands of metal and stone golems carried the things they ordered off the airship to their feet.
After checking all the products, Luther had a brilliant smile on his face. He paid Nail the agreed amount and made another order offering to pay with knowledge. He made copies of everything in his archives and asked Nail how much that could buy him. To his surprise, the knowledge got him over a dozen times more than he got for nearly all the crystals in his treasury.
A week later, there were almost a hundred airships and hundreds of thousands of golems delivering the agreed-upon items. Luther could not wipe the brilliant smile from his face. He was sure he would be unstoppable in a few years thanks to these purchases.
The same went for the nine other powers in Ariah, the country outside of Estia, also the power at war against Estia. Months later, four of the five countries of the Western Region. Namely: Aquan, Lumina, and Ariah had the Falling Stardust's Artifacts circulating within.
It started out small, from estates to territories, to countries. Almost every organization in the Western Region was a customer of Falling Stardust.
The introduction of the Falling Stardust changed everything. The wars that were tapering off became more intense. Whichever powers were losing the war was always the first to be approached. With healing potions, most of their men recovered from injuries that would usually kill them. With mana weapons created using crystals as their power source gave the cultivators a boost in strength. With better breathing techniques, their cultivation increased, and their foundation became more stable.

With their newfound strength, they would push back against those oppressing them and taking the upper hand.
This was until the hand of the Falling Stardust moved again. The now losing side would receive a visit and, out of desperation, they would pay whatever price to gain access to the advantages their enemy had. With that, they sat back. As the war heated back up and continued to rage, supplies would run out, and they would come back to the Falling Stardust with another order.
The war that had been going on nonstop for over a hundred years heated back up and was more intense than before. A year passed, the supply of crystals began to run low. The memory crystals, scrolls documents began to run dry. Archives, storehouses, and vaults emptied. Only the bigger and more prosperous organizations were unaffected too much by the war.
The smaller organizations became desperate fast. They began trading secrets and family treasures for supplies. It got very ugly, very fast, the Falling Stardust extended an olive branch. They sent out a list of items they needed. They would buy them for crystals or trade them for supplies.
Upon seeing the list, smiles reached everyone's faces, as these were items they deemed to be of not much use. Plants, rocks, muds, and metals, everyday things that everyone had access to. They did not question too much why the Falling Stardust would want these things. They simply figured they were extending a helping hand but didn't want to seem like they were handing out charity.
Others saw right through this and knew those items had hidden value and began hoarding them for future use while only selling a portion. It was like this. Some saw Falling Stardust as a benefactor, while others saw them as a predator hiding in the shadows and waiting to make a move.

However, no matter their point of view, they could not refuse to do business with the Falling Stardust. Without their supplies, enemies would overrun them and disappear from the continent.
The sky was filled with airships zipping back and forth. But no one noticed a thing. The airships only revealed themselves after they had landed and disappeared the moment the delivery was done. No one could follow them and find out where it is they were coming from. Their only contact with the Falling Stardust was the single representative who first approached them.
Another year passed, and not much had changed. The war was still raging even more intensely than before. The Falling Stardust was still supplying the war machines and buying plants, rocks, and metals.
With some special people, they gave them supplies on credit. With a signed, I own You contract that could be collected when times became peaceful. People were less worried about how long it will take to pay off their debt than if they could survive such an intense battle.
With the increased strength of the cultivators' bodies and the introduction of healing potions. The casualties in the war had dropped significantly. Every time you beat someone, as long as they had as breath left, they will return for vengeance days later. This was a blessing and a curse because it meant this war may never end if the powers involved weren't losing men.
It did not take long before people started to call this the Endless war.

This is just the weird & random shit it my mind, for when I can remember them and when I have time to put those thoughts & feelings into words, IF I can even do that. Writing is one of the things that I couldn't live without, and it's weird because it's something that bloomed from some things that I now hate. Anygays, enjoy the show.
