《Supernaturals Untold》Chapter 8: Kyle

"No I am not crying."
The beautiful man tilted his head as an expression appeared in his emotionless eyes for the first time.
But it only lasted a second.
To Camilla, whose eyes never moved his even for a moment, this one second was enough for her to notice it.
But she just couldn't decipher it.
The beautiful man retracted his hand and rubbed the liquid salty matter against his thumb and index finger as he looked at it.
"I hate liars..." he gazed back at Camilla.
Although he said those words so causally, Camilla could feel indescribable danger behind them.
"Why do you care? Just leave me alone. This is my life not yours. Just let me be!" Camilla blurted out not knowing where her sudden bravery came from.
Maybe it was all the anger and pain pooled up inside of her.
The beautiful man shortened the distance between them even more.
They were so close that she could smell his delicious scent.
He smelled like wet earth on rainy day. With a pinch of rose.
That one smell she was addicted to.
She subconsciously retracted her steps as she retreated back.
Their closeness was making her oddly uncomfortable.
Her eyes could no longer look into the beautiful man's.
They wandered aimlessly on the ground. At her feet.
A hard wall halted her retreat.
She let out a shortened breath trying to hold in the when her back hit the wall.
She slowly raised her eyes and caught sight of the man's face in all its beauty.
Whenever she looked into those deep eyes, her heart raced behind her ribcage.
The raised his hand against the wall trapping Camilla in between the wall and his hard chest.
With his free hand, he pulled Camilla's chin with his index finger making her look into his eyes.
Camilla's eyes wandered left and right repeatedly as she didn't know which eye she should lock into.
Her heart raved even wildly.
"Oh no...is he going to try and force himself on me!" she screamed inwardly to herself.
When she noticed that the place they were in was dark and little to no light touched the place.
Her breathing became hurried as she tried to come to terms with herself.
"Your such a brave little kitty. Your the first person who has ever spoken back to me in a long while." his voice came out as low as a whisper as he stared into Camilla's eyes.

But it was enough to make her spine shudder.
"What's your name?"
"B... Be... Becca." she blurted out in fear.
The man raised the corner of his lips into a smirk; "Becca who?"
"Ha.. rper" she replied in between her hoarse breaths.
"Becca Harper is dead... I told you. I hate liars. Tell me your real name." he scoffed as he used his free hand to tuck Camilla's stranded hair behind her ear.
"I asked you.... Am loosing my patience here." his look became serious when Camilla refused to reply.
For Camilla, she wished this slow night mate would end as soon as possible.
She gulped down in fear as she felt a lump develop at the back of her throat.
" Ca...Camilla. "Tears started wailing up in her eyes, threatening to fall over her rosy pink cheeks." Please don't rape me. Please I will do anything but don't do anything to me in this dark place please. I'm begging you. I'll leave this city if you want me to. Please anything. Don't do this to me!" she blurted a series of pleas.
The beautiful man was confused by sudden change in emotions on Camilla.
One moment, she's a brave kitty and in the next she's a cry baby.
" Brave kitty. I would never do that to anyone. If you want it I can give it to you. I won't force you." a playful smile formed on his lips.
But his words only made Camilla feel even more insecure.
The tiny droplets of tears in her eyes turned into a stream of salty water flowing down her cheeks.
The man got even more confused.
For the first time in his life time, he had never met anyone like this.
Every girl would go crazy to sleep him.
Yet this lowly maid, was actually frightened.
He was a living temptation. Even able to tempt the devil himself yet here was the first person to resist him.
Even though their were those who acted coy around him to make an impression on him.
They would later throw themselves at him when they saw he paid no attention to them.
He retracted his hand off the wall and freed her from her prison.
He brushes his hair backwards with his hand and turned on his heels to leave.
Camilla released a breath she didn't know she had been holding the entire time as relief flooded her entire being.

But the heartache that made her heart beat in an abnormal manner still have her indescribable pain.
She looked at the beautiful man's broad back as he walked away from her.
"Wait!" she called out.
The man promptly turned himself around to look at whoever called him.
He simply glanced at her as if telling her to proceed with what she wanted to say.
"What's your name?" she raises her voice so it could cover the distance between them.
"You dare ask for my name?" he scoffed.
The girl was earlier afraid of him yet here she was, already mustered the courage to speak to him again.
"Stop making a fuss over it and tell me your name. You asked for mine and I gave it for you. Now it's your turn." Camilla pouted her twin peaks proudly.
"Why?"
"Because....."
"Because?"
"Just tell me your name."
"I've refused."
"Oh come on. I can't just let a stranger that knows my name go without me knowing his.
I just want to thank you for letting me go."
The beautiful man shook his head bemused by Camilla's answers.
"Kyle. Are you happy now? If you would excuse me, I handle some matters to handle. I can't waste all my time on a lowly maid like you." he looked down at Camilla's status.
"If only you knew!" she muttered softly.
"What did you say?"
"Nothing. Thank you Kyle." she smiled as she tried to cover up her statement.
Kyle didn't reply but turned around and headed to a black expensive SUV parked a short distance a way.
He entered the driver's side and drove off.
The loud roaring sound of his engine filled the midnight quiet atmosphere as he sped away.
"What happened to his friends?" she came to a realization when she recalled them splitting up and looking for something.
Their expensive coats lay on the road like they had no owner.
They wore serious faces as they dashed away.
Yet Kyle didn't bother looking for it at all.
After Kyle left, she went back to her sorry sad state.
She hadn't bothered looking for where to sleep for the night as she guessed her friend would help her out.
But things took a completely wrong turn she would never imagine would happen to her.
She swallowed the lump forming at the back of her throat as she wiped the lone tear that forced its way out one of her eyes.
Looking around her environment, she scratched her head on frustration.
"So what now?" she cursed her luck.
Her skin formed several tiny bumps as the cold wind hit her skin.
Hr rubbed her hands over her chills to warm herself up.
She was now homeless, survival was her most important goal now.
But it didn't matter to her, she hoped the angel of death would just come and claim her life immediately instead of letting her suffer this cruel fate.
What kept her alive was her desire for justice.
Although she knew or wouldn't come easy, she was willing to give it a try.
If all failed, she would be better off as a lost soul wandering between the land of the dead and the living.
She wouldn't think twice before ending her life.
She could get her justice herself but she was the type of person that would never hurt a mosquito.
Her gaze landed on a public bench only five meters away from her.
She stared at it on disdain before walking to it.
She folded her knees as she lay down on the bench.
But the cold wind wouldn't grant her rest.
The goosebumps on her skin didn't seem to go down any time soon.
She shivered as her chills increased the more the breeze passes by her skin.
Tears rolled down her cheeks and wet the ground on their own.
She couldn't hold her tears any longer.
Although she wasn't crying, her eyes streamed like they had mind of their own.
Two objects caught her sight blurred by the tears.
She sat up and wiped the tears in her eyes making her view clear.
She walked to the two coats Kyle's friends had left behind and brought them back with her to the bench.
She covered her legs with one and used the other to cover her torso.
They were surprisingly warm.
It was like they knew she would be facing this predicament she was in.
With protection from the chills, she closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep.
