*Loud laughter*
Caleb, Lorene and Quan burst into a loud laughter.
Lorene laughed so hard that she even fell into the chair.
"What? What's funny?" Camilla frowned.
"Oh I'll remind you?" Quan said trying to hold back his laughter.
"Listen. I'm Becca. How should I prove this to you..."Quan said in a sarcastic voice then burst into another round of laughter.
"No no..." Lorene said she stood up laughing, "Ask me anything only you and Becca know." she said in a sarcastic voice.
"What about this.... See Quan....I told you I would make you pay. This suits you right." Caleb said sarcastically.
"Oh my God. That one was the funniest." Lorene laughed loud.
And so did the rest.
"Loreen?" Tears rolled down Becca's eyes.
"You knew?" she cried as her heart ached.
"You knew?" Lorene rolled her eyes at Camilla, "Of cause I knew. You thought Quan was able to pull it off alone? Tsk Tsk Tsk. Your still naive as you've always been.
" But... Why? "Camilla felt her heart shutter into a million pieces.
Her best friend who she shared all her secrets with was now speaking to her so coldly.
" Why... I'll tell you why" Caleb said as he stared coldly at Becca.
"You too?" Becca's pupils dilated in pain.
"Yes me to. I'll tell you why I was in it. The others will go next."Caleb stared at Becca with killing intent.
Caleb circled Becca liked a lion surrounding its prey.
He stated at her with malicious eyes as she stood there crying uncontrollably.
" In my whole life, I have always got what I wanted.... "he started narrating his story as he circled Camilla continuously.
" No one has ever said no to me.... Not even once. If I wanted something, I would get it. I had it all, girls, cars, houses. All of it.
The day I met you at the MET Gala, I knew I must have you.
I did all I could to get you but you always dodged the topic every time I brought it up.
I liked it at first.
I liked the way you were playing hard to get.
Every time I saw you, my thoughts would run wild.
But you never let me touch you at all. Not even a finger.
I had to hire a call girl everyday to satisfy the fire you lit up inside of me.

My dreams were all about you.
You hunted my night mates precious Becca.
I did everything that I thought you may like.
I acted gentle.
I acted patient, generous and kind.
Until I felt like you had started opening up to me.
I planned to surprise you on one of the award events when you were nominated.
I installed a thousand balloons right above the stage.
I installed a thousand roses above the stage.
And when you were called out, I climbed up the stage and stood in front of you.
I knelt on one knee and held your hand gently as I proposed to you infront of everyone for Christ's sake.
Balloons and flowers came raining on us as I proposed to you.
The crowd went wild and chanted for you to accept my proposal.
But all I got was a NO. And you walked out from me.
My reputation was at stake.
You ashamed me in front of everyone.
You ruined my reputation as easy as eating a piece of cake.
Just like that.
It was so sad.
Everyone looked at me as my hand was left hanging on the stage.
I have never forgotten that day till now."
Caleb halted his steps and took a seat angrily.
"Bu.. But..." Becca cried but Lorene didn't let her finish her sentence.
Loreen walked stood up from the white couch still feeling giddy.
She stumbled a little but stabilized her self immediately.
"And me....You stole the spot light away from me.
At the university, every time we walked together, no one noticed me.
I was like a faint shadow of yourself.
When auditions were held at the compass, I signed up excitedly.
It had always been my dream to become an actress.
I rehearsed my script every night in front of a mirror.
I stayed up late at night trying to memorize that script.
But you, you just walked into the auditioning room and boom!
You got the role.
You stole that dream from me.
I lied to myself that I was happy for you but deep down.... Deep down, it hurt.
Seeing you rise to fame and success as I watched from the sidelines.
No one paid attention to me even after the graduation.
They all treated me like a non existent object.
The spot line was always on you. And I hated that.
I hated that a lot.
I wear my most perfect dress, no one noticed. "She bit the bottom of he lip as she narrated," But.... Look at us now..... We switched roles dear best friend. "

Lorene let out a peak of sinister laughter.
" I should have seen your face when you realized it had been changed. Too bad I wasn't there....You should be thanking me. Quan wanted to end your life there and then.
But I suggested this ingenious idea. "she laughed again.
"Caleb and I found Quan trying to spike your drink with poison one day. And that was when we knew we had a mutual desire for revenge."
The trio smirked wickedly at Becca.
At this moment, Camilla didn't know what to feel.
Tears rolled down her eyes uncontrollably as her emotions shit down one by one.
All except one.
The ache in her heart.
She felt like a thousand needles were being pierced through heart one by one.
Her best friend. The one she regarded as a sister.
Was the master mind behind this plan.
How could she ever come to terms with this type of betrayal.
The sounds in world were all silenced and the wicked laughter of the three blurred in and out of her ears.
She felt the world go round 1000 times faster.
Her heart raced in an unrhythmic pattern as it ached with the deepest and most painful heart ache.
She let out a piercing agonized scream as she tugged on her hair hardly.
"No!"
"Why...."
"You, Lorene?"
"no no no no..." she said in a lie tone as she shook her head like a crazy person.
She retreated back many steps as if she was faced off with the devil.
Her back hit the wall when she reached the end of her retreat.
"No..... No.... I will make you pay. I will make you all pay. I will tell the police about all this. Your evil won't go unpunished." she cried as she tried come to terms with her self.
Lorene simply walked to the door while laughing wickedly and opened it;" Perfect, the door is wide open. I would love to see you try. "
The wicked laughter that filled the room hunted Becca to her bones.
Unable to hold the pain any longer, she dashed out of the room and didn't stop until she was outside the mansion.
She wiped her unending river of tears continuously as she ran out.
The guards at the at the gate scratched their heads as the saw the familiar crying lady ran through the gates.
"When and how did she get in?"
Camilla stumbled and fell bit she stood up immediately and started running.
She wanted to get out of everyone's sight as soon as possible.
The road was brightly lit as it was void of cars and pedestrians.
The usually busy road during the day was now mostly quiet.
The whizzing after noise of a few cars speeding down the road freely occasionally filled the atmosphere for a second.
As Camilla ran sobbing, her knees started getting weak.
The unending pain only increased the more she cried.
Left with little energy, Camilla fell to her knees and let the stream of tears flow uncontrollably.
A minute passed by.
But to her it felt like eternity.
"Him....wha.....what is he doing here?" her voice broke as she cried.
She wiped her tears with her palm as she mustered the strength to stand up when she saw the beautiful man whose name she didn't know.
He stood a distance away as he gestured his other companions to split up.
It was like they were looking for something.
Like him, his companions had earth defying beauty.
But it couldn't match the beautiful man's beauty.
They both dropped their stylish coats and roles their sleeves up as they ran in opposite directions.
The beautiful man now remained standing alone.
His hair that was previously tied into a pony tail, flowed over his shoulders freely.
Standing in the middle of the road, he brushed his hair back with his fingers as he surveyed his surrounding.
His eyes stopped moving when he caught sight of Camilla.
He locked his emotionless deep eyes on her as he crosses the distance between them.
"You?" he tilted his head as he read through Camilla's soaked white eyes.
"Why are you crying?" he stretched out his soft hands and braced her cheeks.
Camilla couldn't move as she was locked on place by the man's beautiful eyes.
It was like he had put a spell on her that couldn't let her move an inch.
Shaking her head slightly and forcing a smile, she replied, "No I'm not crying."
But the tears rolling down her cheeks said otherwise.
