The field leader of the Time Patrol, Trunks has just entered the Time Vault temple within the Time Nest. As he walks down the stairs, Trunks sees the Supreme Kai of Time, Chronoa and the Elder Kai with concerned looks on each of their faces as they both stare at a scroll.

“Supreme Kai, has there been another change to history?” Trunks wonders as he now stands behind them, noticing their tension.

“Yes, this Timeline in particular should no longer exist.” Chronoa begins to explain. “This timeline should’ve been erased by Grando Zeno in its entirety…”

“But for some reason, it still continues to exist…” The Elder Kai adds.

“Hmm… I’ll investigate immediately, but first I’ll need to enlist Shadow.” Trunks informs the two Kais while stroking his chin.

“Shadow is busy dealing with his own timeline and your partner is searching for Fu.” Chronoa points out, shooting down Trunks’ request for backup. “For now you have to deal with this on your own…”

“Right then!” Trunks say determinedly as he takes the time scroll.

Trunks then opens the scroll and is subsequently engulfed in a bright light that takes him to an unknown change in history.

It’s Age 780, Trunks has just arrived to the point in time that is in question. When Trunks arrives, there is an earthquake, it’s as if the whole planet is shaking. Explosions are occuring in the horizon, dust fills the air, and the sky is dark with storm clouds.

“What’s going on? It’s like there’s a war to end all wars happening!” Trunks wonders, taken back from the explosions going off in the distance.

Trunks immediately flies over to the commotion at top speed. Once there, Trunks can do nothing, but watch the spectacle before him, knowing full well that the warriors fighting are beyond his league…

“I wish you’d take this seriously…” An SS4 Gogeta says with his eyes closed and arms folded, standing directly behind Hatchiyack.

The tuffle machine quickly whips around and throws a barrage of rapid-fire punches and kicks. Unfazed by Hatchiyack’s attacks, Gogeta elbows the machine in the forehead and then kicks him further into the air. A flowing, divine, purple aura begins to irradiate from the Super Saiyan 4’s body, signifying that he’s breaking his limits.

“Choke on this!” Gogeta shouts as he powers up.

Ten black spheres appear behind Gogeta’s back, floating in a circular formation. Four of the orbs shoot out at Hatchiyack and blow off all of his limbs on impact. As the orbs return to their user, Gogeta is putting both of his hands together with his hands up and palms open. A massive reddish-orange ball of energy appears in his hands.

“FULL-POWER BIG BANG KAMEHAMEHA!!” Gogeta yells as he fires the beam at Hatchiyack, vaporizing it entirely.

“This is the power of the great Moro…? I’m whelmed.” Vegito remarks as he transforms into an SSB Evolved.

An enraged Moro stands up and stares definitely at the potara fusion who is charging up and throwing both arms open.

“Curse you and your inscrutable tech--GWAH?!” The magical alien is interrupted due to crystals erupting from the ground, impaling Moro in the process.

“Take this! FINAL KAMEHAMEHA!!” Vegito yells as he fires the beam.

“NNNOOOOOOO–AAAAARRGHHH!!!!” Moro screams as the beam reduces him to dust.

Vegito makes sure to curve the beam upwards so as not to destroy the Earth.

“Why--? WHY CAN’T I MOVE?!” Bojack shouts as he floats helplessly in the air.

“That’s because I dislocated all the joints in your arms and legs with precision strikes.” A smug Bulla informs the space pirate as she raises her right hand.

Energy gathers in the female half-sayian’s hand and takes the form of a glowing yellow blade.

“Goodbye…” Bulla taunts as she swings down.

As the space pirate’s body begins its descent to the ground, the head separates and both the head and the rest of the body land miles apart.

After the battle is confirmed to be over the two fusions converge on Bulla’s location and they all sit and have a conversation.

“All of Moro’s lackeys are all either dead or being recaptured by the Galactic Patrol as we speak.” Bulla says before turning to face Vegito. “You’re expert on all things Dragon Ball, so what’s next?”

“Hmm? Well…” Vegito responds. “Assuming none of the Heroes stuff happens… Jaco will take us back to GP HQ for a celebration and commemorative photo. Then the Granlah arc is next.”

“Can the Galactic Patrol party wait?” Gogeta queries. “I’m supposed to go on a date tomorrow and my wife gets crazy scary when she’s mad.”

Vegito simply responds with, “Just use a shadow cl--”

“Umm… Gogeta, Vegito, and Bulla…?” Trunks says, interrupting their conversation. “How and why are you in this era together?”

Silence fills the area as the three just stare at Trunks who begins to feel awkward from the whole situation. After a minute of silence, the trio finally break the silence in unison.

“AAHHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!”

“W-what’s so funny…?” Trunks stammers.

“We’re laughing at your question!” Bulla says in between her giggles.

“What? I don’t understand…” Trunks continues.

“Technically, we are those people, but we don’t use those names.” Gogeta points out as he floats over to Trunks. “I go by the name, ‘Jin.’”

“You can call me, ‘Rito.’” Vegito adds, raising one hand to form the peace sign.

“And my name is Ayanami.” Bulla says while bowing.

“I’m so confused…” Trunks mutters as he scratches his head.

“Don’t think about it.” Gogeta curtly states.
