After what happened in class, I headed straight back to my room. I didn’t want to be disturbed, so I locked the door. During the past week, I was using up half of my mana to feed the teleportation stone, which accumulated more than enough mana to make 2 transports.

I have experimented with it in the past few months and made sure that there were no errors. I preferred to land home and not on a random battlefield if possible. I activated the stone and it started shining. Next thing I knew, I was standing in the circle I drew on the black continent, the only thing missing was the black teleportation stone as planned.

“Everything worked out well. Let’s hope it will be the same for the way back. I wonder how they have been these past days without me.”(Me)

I said to myself. I was connected with the island again, as soon as I step foot on it, so I was able to locate everyone as soon as I arrived. After looking around if anything major things changed, I went to a nearby group. The first few I met where the fire group from my students and when they saw me, they ran my way, looking similar to hungry animals who just found their meal.

“Big brother!”(Children)

“I will go and tell the others about your return, big brother.”(Tom)

One Human of the group called Tom said and went ahead to inform the others. Meanwhile, I was slowly walking with the others and we talked a little bit about what they experienced the past 6 days. Fortunately, the worst thing that happened was that Horan had a broken leg, but because he is of the tough dragon race, it would heal fast, so there was nothing to worry about.

“You will be really shocked when you see what we built these past days, big brother. Now that I think about you had your 2nd day in school today right? How was it?”(Ciko)

A young female dragon called Ciko of the group asked me.

“Be patient Ciko, it would be unfair to only tell you guys. When we arrive, I plan to tell everyone anyway.”(Me)

I said with a smile.

“Ok. If big brother says so.”(Ciko)

She said embarrassed. We all laughed about it and went to where the others were. On our way, I saw a lot of new buildings. They built from some small huts build out of wood to real houses out of stones. They even built a smithery, which was also the biggest building out of them all and when I asked, the children seemed really proud of it. I guess that magic was a huge helper while building everything but I didn’t want their motivation to drop so I remained silent about that.

Shortly after I heard an army running at me. The remaining children were running at me. It was a wonder that I survived the collision.

“Big brother!”(Children)

“I’m back guys.”(Me)

A crowd of children assembled around me and I let them finish crying tears of happiness, before I started telling them what happened.

“I see that you all are eager to hear stories from what I experienced these past days but before that, I would like to hear a short report from Sepp how it stands with our defence. Has anything strange happened these past days?”(Me)

Sepp was clearing a way through the crowd. When he arrived in front of me he stood straight and started talking.

“Not really. Nothing special happened in your absent. We killed everyone that tried to invade our home.”(Sepp)

“Hm, how many?”(Me)

“Ah, about 2 or 3 groups per day, while the group with the most people didn’t amount more than 5.”(Sepp)

I was relieved hearing that everything was ok.

“Now that I know that you are doing fine, who wants to hear about my past days?”(Me)

I asked in the round and everyone answered by raising their arms. I told them everything that happened. The only exception, which I skipped was the thing with Takeshi, because I didn’t want to tell them yet.

“How stupid to try and challenge big brother, even after losing so horribly.”(Horan)

“Right.”(Sandra)

“Big brother, you should leave a clear mark for that idiot called William, so he stops bothering you.”(Tom)

“As long as he doesn’t go further than going on my nerves, I am fine. Actually it is quite funny to taunt him. His face can even change colour depending on the degree of his anger.”(Me)

The part that interested them the most wasn’t that there were talented people but my pointless “fights” with William. The talking issues were my stories. It went on like that for quite some time, until we got hungry. I followed some of them in 1 of the new buildings, which functioned as a kitchen and storage room. They took some of things stored.

In a short time while I went away, the remaining ones used earth magic to create a table and seats for everyone. It was a round table where everyone could take place. We placed the things we took from the storage room on the table and started eating.

I somehow missed something but I didn’t know what. It was probably because I was able to eat food provided by the academy these past 2 days, which was really delicious, that it was hard to go back to only eating fruits.

“Don’t worry big brother we are working on building a farm at the moment, so in a few months, we could be able to add bread to our menu.”(Sepp)

Sepp saw my facial expression in that moment and caught up quickly.

“I appreciate your effort, but don’t overwork yourself.”(Me)

“I promise you that we won’t.”(Sepp)

“That’s good to hear.”(Me)

Sepp made a depressed face before continuing.

“But it sure is hard to obtain good food with only agriculture.”(Sepp)

“Is that so? If you tell me like that, I guess you have already a plan?”(Me)

“Yes. It would be nice if we could get your permission to trade things produced from here with nearby continents and races. Naturally, if you are against it, we will respect your decision.”(Sepp)

“No, no. I understand. Actually, I was already thinking about something big. Trading with someone else included, I have a big plan which I want to tell you all.”(Me)

I looked around and watched the children talk to each other. When I stood up from my seat, everything turned tired and the attention focused solely on me.

“Ok. Guys listen to me.”(Me)

I made a short break to catch my breath.

“I am planning to make the black continent into a force, which is reckoned and respected by the whole world! For that, I have thought about some things which I want to ask of you.”(Me)
