《Life of the dark god》Chapter 23 Legendary sword?

A bright light blinded me for a few seconds when I entered. When my eyes were ok again, I opened them. I was standing in some kind of cave, but the wall and floor was pink? When I looked around I saw Matt lying on the ground, with Kylie and Rose sitting right next to him to treat his wounds.
“Pink stones? Which cave has pink stones? Should I take this as a bad joke?”(Me)
“Clentanium, rare metal. Strong presence in cave.”(Rose)
She was pointing in the direction the only tunnel was leading. I waited and played the guard, while Kylie and Rose treated Matt’s wounds. After a few minutes all of Matt’s injuries were treated as much as possible. Unfortunately, he didn’t wake up, so I had to carry him, and man he was heavy.
We followed the direction where the tunnel was leading. During our walk, Kylie went at the front, I was in the middle and Rose in the back. We went like that because if we would encounter an enemy we had the best chances to fight or escape with that formation. Kylie was really displeased with being the frontline, but when I suggested she could go in the middle as long as she’d carry Matt, she was more than happy to lead our group.
After some time walking, Kylie suddenly stopped.
“Guys, we have a little problem here.”(Kylie)
She pointed ahead of us. The tunnel split into 3 different ways. We had to decide how to advance further, but before we took a break.
“What are we going to do now? Splitting up wouldn’t be a good idea.”(Me)
I said while looking at the injured and unconsciousness Matt. Then back at Kylie and Rose. We thought for a while and I had a good idea.
“I’ll stay with him, you advance together.”(Rose)
That would probably be the best we can do, but I had something on my mind. Before I could ask it, Kylie did so for me.

“Will you be ok to defend both of you if someone comes and attacks you? You probably are not enough alone, why can’t we just wait until Matt wakes up and go together?”(Kylie)
“Will have to, no other options.”(Rose)
Rose looked at me clearly searching for support to convince Kylie in going.
“If we take Matt with us he will be in even more danger, do you want that? Don’t worry, they aren’t B rank adventurers for show, we saw what they are capable to do on our way here. By the way the strongest enemies are ahead and I don’t think they will come back anytime soon.”(Me)
It took some time talking to Kylie but in the end she went on her own free will. Before we parted we wished Rose good luck and advised her to hide if someone would come. The advice was unnecessary because she would have done so any way. We decided to take the path on the right side.
As before, the wall and ground consisted of that pink stone. Why did it have to be pink stones? I didn’t hate the colour pink, but always seeing the same colour, made me kind of insane. Especially such a bright colour.
We followed the path for almost half an hour and it was really annoying. Nothing changed, everything looked the same, even though we walked for such a long time. I was so enraged I almost tried to blow up the cave once or twice. If Kylie wasn’t there to calm me down, I would have done so already.
After a whole hour, I finally lost my patience. I activated the black mana and almost fired of a giant black mana ball. Almost, because before I did, the whole cave began shaking like it would have reacted to my mana. I couldn’t concentrate and before I would fire magic which I couldn’t control I would dispel it first. When I stopped using my mana, the shaking stopped.

“Was it my fault?”(Me)
“Who else’s could it be mine? Can’t you be more patient?”(Kylie)
When we went a little further, I saw that we were wrong and it was all just pure coincidence. We finally reached the end of the tunnel and were standing in a giant room. The entrance was located a few meters above the ground, so the humans which were down there, didn’t notice us. The only way to get down, was a path to our right.
“Don’t forget to apologize to me later, when everything is finished.”(Me)
I smiled at her.
“Don’t say something like that, when we have other problems.”(Kylie)
“Eh, but I want an apology later.”(Me)
Kylie just sighed. When we reached the room, before I could see what exactly happened, I could hear a human shout.
“You idiots, what if they heard us. Can’t you prepare do this ritual more silently?”(Human)
I looked down and saw a giant altar in almost exactly the middle of the room. In the altar, a giant sword which no normal person would be able to hold, don’t even think about wielding it. Around it, a formation circle which prevented the humans from getting near it. At least it looked like it because no human was standing near it. All of them were standing around the formation.
“I guess that is what they came for.”(Kylie)
That was obvious, but what interested me more was how the humans would get to the sword and destroy the defensive mechanism. I wanted to know it, so I thought of a plan.
“I don’t think that you can just pretend to be an ally again. The people here probably know who should be here and who shouldn’t.”(Kylie)
She saw directly through me and said. I went back to thinking.
“Can’t you magicians work faster?! If you don’t finish the sacrificial ritual soon, more people will enter here and we won’t have enough sacrifices. And if we are unable to dispel this formation and come home without what we came, even with so much preparation, would you be able to tell his majesty that we failed to acquire the sword which god created?”(Human)
Wow, I didn’t think I would get their plan to know in that way but I was fine with it.
“So this is a sword god created? Aren’t you of the race of gods, Darkness?”(Kylie)
“Yes I am but as far as I know it shouldn’t be possible for the older generation to interfere with the world’s affair. And I don’t think that the younger ones are interested in learning to forge yet.”(Me)
“Is that so, hahaha.”(Kylie)
[She laughed at my answer? Why? She wanted to know what I knew, why should she laugh? Does she know something? No, that shouldn’t be possible. Or is it? Now that I think about it I don’t know everything about her.]
I thought. I wanted to say something, but again it felt like she read my mind.
“Don’t worry, I am not of the god race like you, and that sword has nothing to do with me.”(Kylie)
Who created this thing than? Was there someone else of the god race who would be interested in forging?
This question and the fact that they somehow want to sacrifice everyone outside of the cave were on my mind. Were their allies included in those sacrifices? Even if they were not, everything started to make more and more sense to me now that I knew what they were planning.

Isekai'd slave
Edward, a regular guy, is transported to another world at the wrong time and place. Slowly, he adapts, paves his way, and faces whatever misfortune awaits. This is my first work. I'm mostly messing around with different themes/characters. The first few chapters are pretty inconsistent, containing most of the rough experimentation, but if you can get past them - I'm sure you'll have a much nicer time. Do not expect anything of notable quality; however, any advice/criticism/suggestions are greatly appreciated. The story won't involve any dark themes, so no excessive violence, rape, etc. Discord
