《Life of the dark god》Prologue: Birth of the devil

„Where am I…?”(?)
With this thought I woke up in the middle of a dark room. As I opened my eyes I could see one person standing in front of me. As I turned my sight around I saw another person lying in a bed and holding me. My eyesight was so bad that I could only recognises silhouettes
“Who am I?”(?)
I looked at my hands and feet but they were really small. I tried to move my fingers and it felt like I was able to. I didn’t know because again I saw almost nothing. As I thought that those two people were probably something like my mother and father, I was lifted up in the air. The person holding me, guess that was mother, said something. Oddly enough I could understand every single word that was spoken.
“So it’s a boy.”(Mother)
“You should decide on a name for him. I am bad at such things.”(Father)
“Right, haha. You really suck at naming. I mean naming a demon in flames fire and another using the wind, air is not really creative, haha.”(Mother)
They laughed for a while. Embarrassed, the man buried his head into his palm. After a few seconds he restarted their conversation.
“Yeah, yea you are right. So, what will his name be? If you want my opinion it should be something like first. I mean we hopefully will get another one and we could name it second so there will be no problems with naming.”(Stupid Father)
“Definitely not. I won’t torture my lovely son just because his lazy and stupid father Primus has a bad naming sense.”(Mother)
“I am sorry. Don’t be angry. So what name would his intelligent Mother Krysta come up with then?”(Primus)
I finally knew both of my parents’ names. My mother thought for a moment. While she was thinking, she massaged her forehead. Suddenly she pointed her finger at him and said.

“How does Hikaru sound?”(Krysta)
“I kind of like this name, mostly because you came up with it honey. So be it. From this day on, this son of us shall be called Hikaru.”(Primus)
After they decided on my name my mother put me in a small bed in another room and left somewhere else. I didn’t know where I was. There was probably no one who even knew that I can understand their words so who would tell me anyways.
To my left and right side were some grids. It would be really hard to get out of this bed for a while. I felt like I was lying in a cage and my parents wouldn’t want me to leave it. I wanted to move around but couldn’t. Actually even if there were no grids around me I don’t believe that I had enough strength to move around anyways.
After pondering what to do from now on, guessing where or what I am I started to feel sleepy. Just before I fell asleep I had some thoughts on what had happened in that short time in my mind.
[So my name is Hikaru, huh. I would really like to know where I am, or if there are any other people aside from my parents and me here. The other thing that’s bothering me is that I am not even strong enough to stay awake for more than a few minutes, that’s pretty bad I guess. I should see into it and train my body in the future.]
This was the beginning of my long life as a dark god. This was also the beginning where I set the first 2 goals of my life.
First get stronger!
Second get knowledge!

Parallels
Parallels are a constant in life. Our friends' lives often run parallel to ours; we share similar experiences or tastes- perhaps even both. Sometimes, however, opposites attract- and our lives run perpendicular. In that case, we are not attracted by similarities; rather, we are attracted to the differences in others. So, what happens when two parallels are broken apart? What might happen to them? Are they forever doomed to run alongside each other, never seeing one another, never meeting? Or, perhaps, might they be spun about? Could these lines that formerly ran alongside one another meet? Could they possibly be set perpendicular? Any feedback is welcome, so long as it is constructive. Also, you may not use any characters, ideas, places, or what have you that I present here without my explicit permission. A note: This is a story which I began over a year ago, but never got around to finishing- it feels about time to really get it going. Now, there are a couple of things about the story, and myself, that need to be said. First and foremost, there's a slow start, but by the third-fourth chapter things should be speeding up a bit. Secondly, in regards to release speed and/or word count per chapter, I make no promises- my schedule is fairly random, and in regards to word count, I will cut off any chapter at any point that feels appropriate to me- that may include cliffhangers, if necessary. I'm not trying to reach a specific word count, I am trying to create a cohesive story, with pseudo-appropriate chapter breaks. This means I will also not rush a half-baked release for the sake of getting a release out. Thirdly, I will make any edits, anywhere in the story and at any time, that strike me as necessary- typically being wording and/or formatting changes, but I may also decide to change major plot points- in that case I would put a notification in the next chapter released. Finally, and most importantly, I am a Christian; this story is intended to at least moderately reflect those values. So, if you particularly dislike any of these things, feel free to look elsewhere, and don't let the door hit you on the way out. God bless, friends.
