“Welcome to Gazra city”...
“Founded by our creator who still reigns supreme the mighty dragon of the north” The robot finished its clearly recorded speech.
“Well thank you. Sir, I’m actually a traveler who is at the end of his wits about finding where I am. Can you please tell me where this illustrious city is located” Tom thought back to all of his fantasy books he read and attempted to speak like a lost traveler? The robot stared back blankly.
“Haha traveler you must be kidding, even if you're from one of the mage hermits you should still be able to access your mage tech device, the gods gave it to EVERYONE”. The robot's face twisted while getting visibly angry.
“Haha of course I have it” Tom tapped his wrist the place he believed it would logically be (again based on light novels he's read). To Tom's surprise, a metallic color painted a portion of the wrist with a blue screen appearing over the top of it.
“Perfect!” The robot exclaimed loudly and grabbed at Tom's wrist. “Come on unless you really have been living under a rock you should know why this is so important when entering cities.”
“Umm I'm really not sure why if you don't mind, can you explain?” Tom awkwardly laughed.
“God! I hate you, hermits, how long have you been in hiding, must have been at least 600 years. Did you never even peek your head out you monster. The A.I’s have become so good at looking like people that they've infiltrated multiple cities, and once they're in, they eat everything.”
“Arnt you an A.I?” Tom questioned.
The robot clearly looked offended and looked down at Tom's mage tech device, “hmm… are you kidding! Are y- you awful at everything. You're only a second-level mage.” The robot looked like it found it funny and said “just go down to the city, not like your threat”
Tom walked to the edge of the cliff noticing a floating platform that took people down and stepped on it. Originally when he came into the world the sky was cloudy, but while on the platform he felt as if he passed a threshold. Everything changed, the sky was a bright blue similar to that of a painting, the city looked more vibrant. Gazra city, which originally looked like a dull futurist city someone came up with on earth, turned into a view Tom couldn't believe, from floating islands that housed neighborhoods that looked like they could hold tens of thousands of people alone. The city included many skyscrapers with pointed roofs similar to a wizard's tower that broke through the sky. But the thing that caught Tom's eye the most was the crystal in the center
“Wow” Tom was surprised by everything but the crystal in the center was so large it even from a distance it felt like a skyscraper was beside him.
“Thank you for admiring sir Garza's work, that crystal is what keeps this city safe but you must know that, the only difference is ours is so large, as makes sense with sir Gazra’s power”

“Why did you tag along? I thought you were standing guard or something Mr. Robot.”
“No, no I'm just a greeter, you don't want to see what guards look like here. But someone will take my place and worry not, I was assigned to accompany you.”
“If you don't mind can I ask you some questions”
“Of course!”
Tom, thinking about his necessities here asked “I need to know three things first: where can I stay? Second, do you have a library? Third, where do I eat”
“Haha” The robot laughed “I can answer all those with one answer “building six, you our esteemed guest will stay in mage tower six, Gazra city provides accommodations for all travelers including your meals and access to the library, we only ask that you take the imprint of one spell on to parchment and leave at the library”
“For a robot who called me trash earlier, you are quite cheery”
“Of course I love talking about this city” The robot yelled “even if it's with trash like you, but as long as you have one spell in there it's not bad” the robot proceeded to whisper to himself.
As the duo got closer to the ground level Tom noticed something, people doing magic. From fire-spewing from someone's mouth to swords being generated from thin air, Tom's wildest dreams had been realized.
“Magic really does exist huh” Tom mumbled to himself.
After getting to the bottom of the lift Tom looked up and felt more intimidated than ever, the buildings and the crystal that looked tall from high in the sky now felt so colossal that it took his breath away. They feel like they must've been constructed by a god, something no man could build; at least not from his world.
Tom continued to walk down the street, Tom could feel the literal magic that existed in everything from creatures to objects to the air he breathed, he could sense it, and it gave him the feeling of dense humid air all around him, borderline suffocation.
With the robot leading the way, Tom followed along silently, worried to piss off the wrong person. Tom didn't say a word, but Tom did notice the condescending gazes of the people around him.
The robot stopped in front of a tall building with a large 6.
“Welcome to your lodge, when you enter your body shall be transported right to your room, afterwards you may visit the guest lobby library in the lodging. That should be all, just remember you need anything. My name is Ren6”.
Tom walked into the door and quickly felt a suction feeling and after blinking was in a large room. The room had a large bed and a bathroom, generally a plain room. The only distinguishing feature is a desk with a key.
Tom was curious and decided to stick the key into a random door; what came next was a similar feeling of having your atoms sucked into space.
“Welcome to the library, newcomer,” An old man said as he approached him.

“Hello sir”
“I received word that this is your first time in our town so you may know the drill please take any one of your spells and inscribe it onto this piece of paper. Doesn't have to be fancy, just a piece of your knowledge for some of ours” The old man grumbled.
Tom fumbled around with the paper with no real clue as to what to do.
He recalled the feeling when his body glowed and almost used it but decided against it as it felt too personal so he remembered some words that came to his head after almost getting hit by a truck after leaving the hospital.
Wind Dash - Lvl 1
It didn't appear on his so called mage tech device but he must have been able to use it. Tom concentrated on his feet and attempted to recall the feeling he had.
“Come on kid i'm just asking for a spell, i guess that robot was right about you, lvl o..” He stopped mid sentence after making fun of Tom.
Tom opened his eyes and noticed he was across the room
Wind Dash - Lvl 1 Assimilated
He looked down at the piece of paper, and read it out loud.
“Wind Dash level one” Tom smirked and put the paper on the old man's desk waiting for a reaction.
“Kid that's just a wind dash, I could wind dash like a child, so get that look on your face. You get access to the first 6 floors everything past is off limits now screw off” The old man said with an annoyed look.
A wall that was once there had disappeared and a vast library with a spiral staircase in the middle sprawled in front of Tom
Tom couldn't believe his eyes; the library looked as if it would stretch infinitely around him, something he could only assume was a trick. Along with its wideness the library had easily hundreds of floors. Tom realized this was easy with the scale of the buildings he remembered seeing outside on his walk through the city.
“And to think I have access to 6 floors of magic, a concept I thought was fake until a couple days ago.”
“What did you say, you thought magic was fake? Are you one of those non-believers or something? Well, at least you finally opened your eyes to the trust” The girl mocked him. “Here look at this book, 7th level stuff right here, you probably just learned wind dash so you could get access to this marvelous place” The girl mocked him
Tom, not paying attention to the girl, was trying to read the title of the book she was holding. He was especially intrigued after she mentioned ‘level 7’ something he had no access to. After squinting his eyes he read Dimensional Shard
Tom looked the girl in the eye and asked “how do you get to level 7.”
“Calm down with the seriousness I was just joking around, look around you, everyone has level 7 and greater books, you get access by contributing and spending more time in the city. The first 6 levels are lowest of the low, basic of the basic; you probably don't have access because you're new here.”
Tom looked around and noticed everyone had a book with a bronze embroidery, and some silver, while the books on the sixth floor also look good; they had no embroidery and just contained a title, with a leather binding.
“Okay I have one more question. Are all the spells named with really strong names?”
The girl laughed “You must be referring to my Dimensional Shard book, yea most people while trying to contribute spells name them strong sounding names to try and gain more favour, The trick is to find the hidden gems. Okay that was all your questions get along your way, non-believer. ” The girl then walked away to conclude their conversation and begin studying.
With his interest piqued Tom never even noticed the girls long blue hair, and multi-colored eyes. I wonder if she was born that way or does this world also had weird cosplay girls walking around the streets.
Tom began by closing his eyes and randomly picking a book World Traverser. haha Is this one of those hidden gems she mentioned, Tom laughed to himself. Tom began reading the book and helt his body grow, he realized he was reading the book exceptionally fast, he didn't understand all of the concepts like the different levels of assimilation, internal energy, external energy and a weird term, divine energy. But, he felt as though he could learn it all if he read more. He finished reading after half an hour and learned what the spell did. The spell gave the user the ability to jump over a long distance I.e traversing worlds as the book stated. Along with his disappointment he heard the message in his head again.
World Traverser - Lvl 1
Tom thought better now then never and attempted to use the spell, He concentrated all of his energy on his feet, as they began to feel light Tom jumped and looked down as he was getting excited. He counted the meters he traversed, one, two three...four and landed back on the ground. Tom was thoroughly disappointed, a spell with such a cool name gave him such a basic ability that it just surpassed human limits.
World Traverser - Lvl 1 Partial Assimilation
While Tom thought about the difference between partial and non-partial assimilation. He heard someone yell at him.
“No spells in the building you imbecile,” The old man yelled.
As Tom waved his hand and yelled “Sorry won't happen again”
“You won't see day if it does happen again” He yelled again.
With the situation over, Tom thought to himself maybe the sixth floor would have some cool books. While it is still under 7 its at least 5 floors above the first floor.

The Magitons
Book 3 of the Universe Series This novel continues the adventure from the previous novel, Ocean of Dreams. Each novel is meant to stand alone. Widhbo ( pronounced "wee bow") is a MC who will be in each of the six novels in the main series. The starship Sora had been hurtling through space using its FTL propulsion system toward the Dezba star system for over a decade since leaving the planet Beldora of the Hellsaxe system. The Sora had crash landed on Beldora over a century earlier carrying a couple of aliens from another dimension. The ship came from the Borrugal Realm, a band world associated with what was known as the Tor Galaxy, what we call the Milky Way. Human life on Beldora was never the same. Under the influence of the alien known as Widhbo, Beldora was catapulted from the steam age to the space age. The majority of the scientific advances on Beldora were attributed to the leadership of a brilliant man, Jejliard Castonea, who was secretly manipulated by the alien, Widhbo. When rapid advances in technology inadvertently led to a nuclear war, Jejliard decided to evacuate his family, friends and co-workers on the Sora. The plan was to find a new habitable planet and rebuild civilization until they could safely return home. Much to his despair, Jejliard’s family and friends opted to stay on Beldora to ride out the war underground. Even the other alien, Gengor, stayed behind. Borrowing technology stored in the archives of the Sora, Widhbo managed to transfer the personalities of those staying on the planet into digital storage units known as magitons which could survive indefinitely in cold, sterile space. Living crew members who elected to stay on board the Sora were also uploaded to ensure immortality for everyone in case their life support systems failed en route. Widhbo sought to design a cyber paradise for everyone inside their virtual worlds, but things never go as planned where Widhbo is concerned.
